Chapter 501: Chapter 501 Big chaos

Silence filled the classroom for one long, warm moment.

Then Drake started clapping loudly. Boo spun in the air, clapping dramatically.

Luna huffed but clapped anyway. Kelpie splashed water excitedly on his desk while clapping.

Rocky clapped shyly, his eyes shining. Felix clapped once, then twice, then kept going quietly.

Sable clapped with his whole heart. Lucien nodded with quiet approval.

Dante stood very still, his arms crossed, his expression neutral to anyone who did not know him. But his eyes held something thoughtful. Respect. Approval.

Alina felt her eyes sting just a little.

Because he was still just a child. And yet, somehow, he already carried the responsibility of someone who wanted to protect everyone around him.

And that, she thought, watching him step back toward his desk while his classmates still clapped, was exactly why he deserved the role.

Drake threw his arms behind his head and leaned back in his chair, grinning in that dramatic, slightly evil way only he could manage without actually meaning any harm. His tail flicked lazily from side to side as he spoke.

"Am I sad because I lost?" he scoffed loudly. "No. Vlad Jr. is my friend. MY FRIEND." Then he broke into a suspiciously villain like laugh. "Hehehehe."

Boo immediately floated beside him like a partner in crime, squinting at him. "That laugh sounds like you are planning something illegal," he whispered loudly.

Luna turned slowly, her golden brown eyes narrowing into sharp slits as she glared straight at Drake.

"You will NOT make him do anything stupid," she said, her voice low and dangerous, a faint growl rumbling under her words. Then she crossed her arms. "Thank the moon Boo and you are not CR. I cannot imagine the chaos you both would bring. I am very glad I voted for Vlad Jr."

Vlad Jr. turned toward her, giving a small, elegant smile and placing a hand over his chest again.

"Thank you, Luna, for your vote," he said politely.

Luna huffed, looking away like she did not care, but her tail gave a tiny pleased flick. "Hmm."

Drake blinked, looking genuinely offended now.

"Oh, WHAT possibly would we have done?" he asked dramatically, pointing between himself and Boo.

Boo gasped, clutching his chest. "Yes. What have you accused us of, Wolf Lady?"

Felix, without even looking up from his desk, muttered, "Where do I start?"

Kelpie immediately raised his hand like he was in court. "Permission to speak? I have examples."

"Denied," Drake said quickly.

"Approved," Luna said at the same time.

Kelpie beamed the moment he was given permission to speak, clearly enjoying this far more than he should have. His eyes sparkled with pure, harmless mischief as he leaned forward on his desk like he was about to reveal the greatest secrets of the universe.

"Okay, so first," he said, pointing dramatically between Drake and Boo, "if either of you became class representative, the classroom would not be a classroom anymore. It would become a disaster zone."

Drake immediately straightened. "Excuse me. I would run a very powerful leadership."

Boo floated higher. "Yes. Very spooky leadership."

Kelpie ignored them and continued, counting on his fingers.

"First chaos. Drake would turn everything into competition. Who finishes homework fastest. Who runs fastest. Who breathes fire coolest. Who sits straightest. Who eats lunch fastest."

Drake nodded proudly. "Yes. Survival of the strongest."

Felix sighed. "We are just babies."

Kelpie lifted a second finger. "Second chaos. Boo would make announcements."

Boo puffed proudly. "Important announcements."

Kelpie nodded seriously. "Like, attention class, today is officially Spooky Appreciation Day. Everyone must wear something black or I will be emotionally disappointed."

Luna snorted.

Rocky whispered, "I only have brown."

Boo looked at him. "Brown is acceptable spooky earth tone."

Kelpie lifted a third finger.

"Third chaos. Drake would volunteer the whole class for activities without asking."

Drake looked confused. "That is leadership."

Kelpie mimicked him dramatically. "Teacher, the whole class agrees we should have extra play time. Teacher, the whole class wants surprise endurance running. Teacher, the whole class wants a volcano field trip."

Sable blinked. "What is a volcano field trip?"

Kelpie lifted a fourth finger.

"Fourth chaos. Boo would create emotional drama."

Boo gasped. "I do NOT create drama. Drama follows me."

Felix muttered, "Like stray cats."

Kelpie continued, delighted. "He would keep a record of who looked at who, who sat near who, who shared snacks with who, and then make mysterious comments like, I see everything... friendship secrets."

Alina pressed her lips together, trying not to laugh.

Boo crossed his arms. "Information builds bonds."

Kelpie lifted a fifth finger.

"And biggest chaos," he said dramatically, "both of them together would make rules that change every day."

Drake leaned forward. "Flexibility is strength."

Kelpie nodded. "Monday, everyone must bring snacks to share. Tuesday, everyone must train. Wednesday, everyone must tell one secret. Thursday, everyone must play a competition game. Friday, everyone must rest because Drake is tired."

Drake pointed. "That is a reasonable schedule."

Luna growled softly. "I would bite someone by Wednesday."

Rocky whispered, horrified, "Secrets day sounds scary."

Sable quietly nodded, already looking stressed.

Lucien sighed. "This is why structure exists."

Vlad Jr., who had been listening calmly, adjusted his sleeve slightly and spoke in his gentle, composed tone.

"I think," he said, "they would not mean harm. But stability might suffer."

Drake leaned back, crossing his arms. "Okay, maybe small chaos."

Boo nodded. "Tiny chaos."

Felix muttered, "Big chaos."

Alina finally laughed softly, shaking her head, her eyes warm as she looked at all of them.

Dante watched in silence, one corner of his mouth lifting in faint amusement.

"This is not a big deal," Boo said.

"Yes, yes, not a big deal," Drake agreed. "Apart from this, what possibly would we have done?" he asked curiously, biting his thumb, his eyes wide.

Felix leaned back in his chair, his tails flicking lazily behind him, but his eyes carried that rare, sharp amusement that meant he was about to say something extremely accurate and extremely dangerous. He looked at Boo first, then at Drake, then slowly rested his chin on his palm like a bored judge about to deliver a life sentence.

"Do you really want me to tell you?" Felix asked, his voice calm, almost gentle, which somehow made it worse.
