Chapter 462: Bad Feeling

With Massimo’s intervention, the burial area where Giovana will be buried is finally cleared of paparazzi. Dozens of Massimo’s men cooperated with the police to guard the area into two layers that would be difficult for anyone to come in. Even though he didn’t really like Giovana, at the last moment Massimo wanted to give comfort to her.

The Sanders family members were the last mourners to leave the burial area, as someone who knew Lucas well enough in particular Julian asked his children not to leave the burial area before Lucas could control himself. And Julian’s decision is fully supported by Massimo who has the same thought.

"Thank you, Mr. Sanders," Lucas said quietly, trying to be strong.

Julian squeezed Lucas’ cold hand gently. "It’s nothing, I hope you can be strong to face this calamity."

Lucas nodded slowly. "Thank you again for your concern, sir."

Julian smiled, after giving his condolences for the last time Julian immediately left the burial area with Selena and Diego because it was getting late. Massimo also did the same thing by inviting Gina to go home, although at first he refused but in the end Gina obeyed Massimo’s invitation to go home.

"Don’t worry, Lucas will be fine. That bastard isn’t as weak as you think," Massimo said quietly.

"Don’t say that, Massimo. Lucas is grieving."

"I know he’s grieving, but you also have to remember one thing. Lucas Dom is a heartless man, he..."

"He’s a human though, Massimo. grape seed, so you don’t talk like that. You don’t know what it feels like to be abandoned by the person you love the most in such a sudden way," said Gina curtly.

"What, I heard right? Look at me. Since childhood I was also raised without a mother, when I was a teenager my father died. Not long ago my grandfather died. And you know, when my father and grandfather died at that time I was not near them. I was out of town on business, how do you think I was at that time? I was also in shock, sad and in disbelief. But what can I do? Dead people don’t die twice, do they? It’s our job as humans. What is still alive is to continue living, not mourning those who have died. Likewise with Lucas, he is a strong man. His sadness will not last long, there are still many things he has to take care of rather than continue to mourn the death of the child he did not want. .."

"Massimo!!"

"I’m talking facts, from the start Lucas didn’t want Giovana. He bought and raped Giovana’s mother back then because of frustration you disappeared, you think Lucas is that good? No, Lucas isn’t as good as you think," Massimo said in a voice that went up two octaves. "Even he gave the child a name similar to yours, why? Because of his crazy obsession with you, I really don’t understand you. How could you still have feelings for such a man."

Massimo’s chest heaved up and down as he spoke, it was clear how angry he was at the moment. Hearing Gina pay more attention to Lucas made Massimo’s emotions out of control. His jealousy was instantly ignited at its highest point.

"It seems I’ve been too good to you lately, from next week we better head back to Almeria and—"

"No Massimo, you promised to let me work and live in Barcelona. You can’t break your promise."

Massimo didn’t answer Gina’s words, he preferred to keep himself busy with his cell phone. Massimo didn’t want to continue his conversation to avoid a bigger fight.

The Sanders family residence.

As soon as he returned from the funeral, Diego went straight into his room, as did Selena, who had turned quiet since she found out that Lucas Dom’s only daughter had died. Selena, who had started to like Giovana, was quite devastated when she found out that such a small child had an illness that eventually took her life at a very young age.

"Come with me for tea in the back garden, Charlie," Julian asked quietly.

"Yes Sir."

After hearing the assistant’s answer Julian immediately stepped into the back garden, while Charlie spoke to Daisy asking to prepare two cups of chamomile tea before finally following the master in the backyard.

"I want you to have my will ready in the near future, Charlie," said Julian, expressionlessly.

Charlie, who almost landed his butt on the chair, immediately stood back up. "W-what do you mean, sir?"

Julian chuckled. "Sit down Charlie, I’ll tell you everything."

"You are still well, sir. How could you ask me to make a will, you are not under pressure from anyone, are you?" Charlie stuttered, even though Charlie was five years older than Julian but he actually looked younger than Julian. The many burdens that Julian keeps in his heart seem to be the reason why he looks a lot older than he should be.

Julian patted the chair next to him with his right hand. "Sit down Charlie, it doesn’t feel good to have to talk standing up like this."

Charlie, who realized his mistake, sat up immediately as soon as Julian covered his lips, because he was too surprised by Julian’s request to make Charlie forget his attitude for a while. Julian didn’t start talking right away because of Daisy’s arrival, even though he had known Daisy for a long time but Julian was still careful with her. The fact that Daisy was one of Massimo’s confidants made Julian not dare to talk about it when Daisy was around him.

Once Daisy was back in the house, Julian finally began to speak. Starting from the main reason for asking Charlie to make a will to his biggest concern so far, even though for the past five years Julian has divorced from Vanessa, Julian is still afraid that his ex-wife, who has been insincere with him all this time, comes back to his house and takes all the rights of the child.

"Later, after the will is made, I want you to keep it safe with Daddy’s will. Even though I will still be given a long life by God later, I will not change the will," said Julian slowly ending his words. "Do everything safely without Diego knowing."

"Diego can’t know?"

Julian pursed his lips. "Yes, later I will explain in more detail and explanation."

"Yes sir, I understand."

"I just want to ensure that my three daughters have a safe and comfortable life in the future, when I’m not around they must still get a decent life. Especially Gina, I’ve made her suffer since she was in her mother’s womb."

Charlie blinked his eyes. "But Miss Gina will never be deprived, sir. Her husband is a very rich man and also ..."

"Massimo is a very calculating person, Charlie. make sure Gina’s finances stay safe from now on."

Charlie nodded his head, he now understood where his master was talking.

"I have a bad feeling about Gina and Massimo, that’s why I asked you to write that letter right away, Charlie," Julian said quietly, telling his heart. "Lately Sandra has been coming into my dreams a lot."

"Miss Sandra?"

"Yes, Sandra. The only woman I love," said Julian hoarsely. "Seven years ago I had a dream too and now Sandra is back in my dream."

"Wouldn’t it be nice if Mrs. Sandra came into your dreams, sir?"

Julian pursed his lips. "Sandra’s arrival in my dream is a bad sign, Charlie."

"Bad sign?"

"Yeah, seven years ago Sandra came in my dream a few days before I finally found out that she died and Gina came to me. And this time, I also have the same feeling about the purpose and intention of Sandra coming in my dream."

"Sir," Charlie said politely. "Dreams are sleeping flowers, not all dreams have meaning. Likewise with Mrs. Sandra’s arrival in your dream, Mrs. Sandra comes into your dream because you are very longing for it too, sir. So don’t associate bad luck with dreams, that’s two different things, sir."

Julian smiled. "I don’t want to believe that dream either, Charlie. I really don’t want to believe it. Five years ago when Gina tried to commit suicide and her condition was declared critical by the doctors who treated her, Sandra didn’t come into my dreams at all. Gina’s condition was between life and death, Sandra seemed to reassure me that our daughter would be fine, that’s why she didn’t come to my dreams. Unlike now, Sandra comes almost every night to my dreams. Sandra seems to be asking me to keep a promise I haven’t had time to."

Charlie raised an eyebrow. "What promise, sir?"

"Promise to make sure Gina lives happily and full of laughter without any sadness in her, the promise I made on our first night," replied Julian hoarsely, recalling his brief happiness with Sandra made Julian’s eyes tear up.

Suddenly the atmosphere in the back garden immediately changed, Charlie who initially did not feel anything began to be carried away with the sad atmosphere that was so felt. As one who knows very well how the twists and turns in the Sanders family make Charlie unable to hide his sadness and emotion.

"At least for the rest of my life I should be able to keep my promise to Sandra, that’s why I really ask for your help Charlie." Julian’s hoarse voice sounded clear to Charlie’s ears.

Charlie nodded quickly. "Yes sir, I will immediately prepare what you asked for."

"Thanks, Charlie. You’ve helped me a lot so far."

"It is my duty, sir."

Julian smiled, after that he grabbed the tea cup that was on the table and started to enjoy his soothing tea. While enjoying his drink Julian’s calmness was disturbed again when he saw Gina who was walking briskly following Massimo into the house, although from a distance Julian could see that Gina was currently crying.

Seeing that Julian’s chest suddenly hurt, he even almost dropped the cup in his hand if Charlie didn’t act immediately by taking over the beautiful cup.

"Are you all right, sir? Should I call the doctor to come?" Charlie asked worriedly.

"N-no, it’s okay. I’m fine."

"Are you sure, sir?"

Julian nodded quickly. "Sure, I’m fine. Now please come into the house and call Massimo to see me. I want to speak to him."

"With your condition like this, sir?"

"Yeah, I need to talk to Massimo ASAP."
