His soul-Chapter 463: Julian’s Will
Massimo was still sitting in the back garden alone even though everyone was asleep in their own rooms. An hour ago Julian asked him to meet, Julian didn’t say much. But it really hit Massimo’s heart, even after Julian finished speaking the fierce look in Massimo’s eyes disappeared.
"In the future, if you get tired of Gina, please return her to me in a proper manner."
Julian’s words kept replaying in Massimo’s head, he still didn’t understand why Julian could talk like that. Knowing Julian for more than ten years made Massimo know what his father-in-law’s nature and character was like, but tonight when he spoke Massimo felt that Julian had become a different person. A figure he didn’t recognize. Looks very different and not Julian at all.
Massimo took a deep breath when he saw the lights in his room were off, it looked like Gina was just about to start sleeping. Gina couldn’t sleep with the light on, that’s why she would have turned off the light before going to bed and it just happened. It seemed that Gina hadn’t slept since then, just like her. Thinking of Gina now in the room alone made Massimo think back to what he had just said when he came back from the funeral.
"I’m sorry, Gina. Looks like it’s better if we stay in our own house, I can’t breathe well living under the same roof with your family and Diego, the venomous snake. It seems that opening your beloved father’s eyes will be more difficult to do, Diego gives too much impression good for him," Massimo said quietly trying to get rid of the bad feeling in his chest, the pain caused by the whining and the sincere request from Gina to keep him working and living with his family.
After shaking his head to shake off the guilt that had gathered in his chest, Massimo then walked into the house. The goal is not the room where Gina is currently sleeping, the goal is Gina’s old room which had witnessed her sweet relationship with Gina who was very sincere in being friends with a maid.
As soon as his body touched the bed, Massimo did not go straight to sleep. His two blue eyes stared at the ceiling of Gina’s room, which was pure white with not too big chandeliers, Julian’s and Gina’s words revolving in his head. Until finally ten minutes later Massimo finally fell asleep after being unable to resist the seduction of the night goddess who forced him to rest his whole body on Gina’s bed.

Too much crying made Gina’s eyes look puffy, she didn’t want anyone to know that she had just cried. Gina immediately took out a series of bottles from a well-known skincare brand from Paris which functioned to restore the freshness of the eyes. Luckily, Gina followed Rosa’s advice, who asked her to buy the best skincare, otherwise Gina might have called Daisy and asked her to compress her eyes with cucumber. A very traditional and ancient way of course.
After making sure all the expensive liquids were perfectly attached to her face, Gina then rushed to the bathroom to take a bath. Taking a warm bath was the best option to refresh her body after only two hours of sleep. This morning Gina was determined to speak again with Massimo so he wouldn’t force her to return to the del Cano family’s castle again. Too many bad memories happened there and Gina didn’t want to remember those bad memories, so Gina tried her best to refuse Massimo’s request to move. Gina has not enjoyed much time with her family, so this time Gina is determined to stay close to her father and younger siblings. Living alone with her mother for almost nineteen years makes Gina want to feel the warmth of living in the midst of other family members.
"Madam..."
Daisy’s call from the bathroom door managed to wake Gina.
"Yes."
"Are you done?"
"Not yet Daisy, in a little while. I’m still too lazy to get out of this warm bathtub," Gina replied lying, no water will stay warm after soaking for more than thirty minutes. "This morning you don’t need to help me, I will prepare myself."
"Alright then, I’ll come down then."
"Okay."
After making sure Daisy really left, Gina slowly got up from the bathtub. She stopped in front of the mirror, her smile widening perfectly when she saw the work of the expensive liquid and cream that had previously been smeared all over her face.
"No wonder it’s expensive," Gina muttered under her breath, commenting on how fresh her face was at the moment.
The tears that had caused her to have a few dark circles under her eyes are now gone, Gina’s face was completely refreshed. Because she didn’t want to make Massimo wait too long, Gina rushed to her activities in the bathroom, she didn’t want to make Massimo angrier by using the bathroom for too long.
Ten minutes later, with her body wrapped in a towel, Gina looked disappointedly at her tidy bed. Massimo did not return to the room, even after the sun had started to show itself like this. Panicked and in a hurry, Gina then jogged to the walk-in closet to quickly get dressed and look for Massimo. What was on Gina’s mind right now was to immediately meet her husband and resume talking yesterday afternoon when they returned from the grave. After feeling that her appearance was quite neat and fragrant, Gina then rushed to the door. But just as his hand was reaching out to grab the door handle, surprisingly the door opened from the outside and there appeared Massimo who was still wearing the clothes he used to attend Giovana’s funeral yesterday.
"Massimo..."
"It’s too early to start a fight, Gina." Massimo firmly cut off Gina’s words.
Gina, who wanted to ask about where Massimo was last night, immediately covered her mouth. Massimo looked very unfriendly this morning. The sound of the door slamming loudly made Gina startled, her husband was still very angry and Gina knew what the source of Massimo’s anger was at this time. Unwilling to accept Massimo’s greater anger, Gina decided to leave the room and join Daisy on the first floor to prepare food. This morning Gina is not wearing her work clothes, after yesterday being absent from going to the office due to the shocking death of Giovana, this morning Gina decided to resolve the matter with Massimo..
Several maids smiled at Gina who was going down the stairs. A knee-length mini dress in light pink made Gina look fresher than usual. And Daisy was the first to immediately compliment Gina for her performance today.
"Daddy?"
"Not yet, madam. Looks like the big master is still in his room," replied Daisy softly. "Last night," Daisy said back in a half-whisper. "Mr. Massimo and Mr. Grandmaster had a serious conversation late into the night."
"Daddy and my husband?"
Daisy nodded slowly. "Yes, madam. But sorry, I don’t know what they were talking about because they were talking in the back garden."
"Ok, I understand Daisy. Thanks for the information."
Daisy smiled, she then continued her work again assembling delicious and nutritious food on the table for the Sanders family breakfast in almost complete formation. As soon as she heard Daisy’s report, Gina’s intention to help out at the dinner table disappeared. With slightly dragged steps, Gina walked to the sofa in the living room, sitting alone staring blankly ahead.
"Martin!" Gina immediately stopped Martin who was just walking past the living room.
Called by the mistress, Martin immediately stopped his steps. "Yes, madam."
"Can talk?"
Martin nodded. "Yes ma’am."
Without a sound Gina then got up from the sofa and walked towards the garden beside the swimming pool, from behind Martin followed Gina’s footsteps quickly.
"Where did Massimo sleep last night?" Gina asked calmly, trying to hide her curiosity.
"Of course in this house, madam. Hasn’t this family home been where you and Master have lived for almost a week?" 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖
Damn it! Martin sucks.
"I know, I mean where did he sleep last night? Last night he didn’t come to the room," Gina said quietly with a tinge of redness appearing on her cheeks.
Martin frowned, he didn’t understand where the mistress was talking about. But not long after that, Massimo’s most loyal assistant’s smile broadened. "For that matter I don’t know, last night Master asked me to leave him alone in the backyard. And because I was too tired and sleepy finally I went into the room to sleep, I really don’t know what Master did after that, Mrs."
"What time did you go to bed?"
"About three-thirty in the morning, madam."
Gina was silent, half past three in the morning was the time she also went to bed after not being able to hold back the sleepiness anymore.
"Didn’t Master come back this morning? Do you need me..."
Gina shook her head. "No need, just when I was going down Massimo came into the room. Looks like he’s taking a shower right now."
"Get rid of your bad thoughts about Mr. going outside, Mrs. I can confirm that last night Mr. was really in the house, none of the cars looked like they had just been used," Martin said quietly, providing important information to Gina.
The smile that had disappeared since yesterday finally reappeared on Gina’s face, hearing Martin’s explanation about Massimo not going anywhere made Gina look calm.
An incoming call from Massimo made Martin finally move away from Gina, for Martin a Massimo was everything. Every word that came from him was a mandatory order that could not be denied, therefore when the man contacted him, Martin had to go straight to him. It doesn’t matter what he’s doing.
Seeing Martin who immediately ran into the house made Gina smile sadly, even though she was already Massimo’s wife, it seemed that Gina would never be able to get any information from Martin. Martin was too loyal to his master and did not leave the slightest gap in himself to get another master.
"Morning," Diego said excitedly, interrupting Gina’s thoughts.
Gina smiled a little. "Morning."
"What are you doing here alone? You didn’t think you wanted to swim in that pretty dress of yours, did you?"
Gina giggled. "This is a mini dress, not a dress."
"To me it’s the same, you still look perfect in a dress that. I find it hard to tell the difference."
"Don’t keep praising me, Diego."
"I’m not praising," Diego answered quickly. "I’m telling the facts."
"You really, huh... oh yeah do you want to swim?" Gina just realized that Diego was only wearing shorts under his night robe.
Diego nodded excitedly. "Yeah, I want to freshen up my body before leaving for the office. Do you want to join?"
Gina immediately raised her hands in the air. "No thanks, I don’t want to have to shower again and sit in front of the dressing table for hours getting ready. Swimming is one of the sports I hate."
"Don’t like swimming? Oh, that’s a shame, even though the average girl out there is crazy about this sport."
"I had an unpleasant experience with swimming pools when I was little. Because of that I became a little uncomfortable being in the pool."
"Oh Gina," Diego said quickly, as quickly as his hand touched Gina’s cheek. "You must have been really scared at the time, didn’t you? Sorry, I didn’t mean to make you recall those bad memories."
Feeling the warmth of Diego’s hand on his cheek made Gina smile. "You don’t need to apologize. I’m fine."
Diego smiled, trying to give Gina his best face. "I’m sorry Gina, if at that time my mother and I didn’t come to this family, maybe you and your mother..."
"That’s, don’t talk about it anymore." Gina immediately cut Diego’s words, she also immediately turned her face away trying to get Massimo’s hand out of there. "It’s all been a long time ago and I don’t want to think about it anymore, we’re fine now, after all, aren’t we?"
"But Gina..."
"I’m really okay, you don’t have to feel guilty or bad for me."
Diego smiled faintly, so faintly that Gina couldn’t see him. Gina’s answer really makes Diego happy, his dream of becoming the heir to the Sanders family is just one step away.
"Okay okay, I’m going into the house then. I have to see if Daisy has finished preparing the food or not."
"Okay, tell Daddy I’m not going to have breakfast with you guys. I just want to have my breakfast at the pool."
Gina nodded slowly. "Okay, I’ll pass your message on to Daddy." After saying that Gina then stepped into the house leaving Diego who was currently filled with flowery feelings.
From the second floor, Massimo and Martin saw clearly what Diego did to Gina and how Gina reacted to Diego. Massimo’s anger, which he had understood while taking a shower moments ago, was rekindled.
"We have to act fast, Martin. Diego seems to be targeting Gina."
