Harry Potter: Dimensional Wizard-Chapter 672: The Dangerous Escape
Chapter 672: The Dangerous Escape
Flames burst out of his feet like a jet flame, increasing his speed. Garz-Tar appeared behind Hulk and pierced a dark flame spear into his leg. Hulk screamed and threw a wild punch on his back. But Garz-Tar had already moved to his front, inserting another spear on his left leg.
Hulk tried to remove the flame spears, but the black flame burned his hands and even inhibited his regenerative ability. Garz-Tar took this opportunity to stab him a few more times with flame spears, forcing Hulk to scream in agony.
"Jar-Li was right. Your screams are beautiful," Garz-Tar said before condensing a black flame rope to capture Hulk. The beast struggled in the sky, but his attempt at freedom was useless. Garz-Tar was about to knock him out when he sensed something.
He looked over and saw the Celestials had disappeared. A group of humans had used a spell to take them into another pocket dimension. "Are they your friends? What a bunch of interesting humans." Even from such a distance, Garz-Tar could tell the souls of these humans were unique, especially the woman. He sensed the power of the shadow and the aura of Lord Sav’von.
"Alright, let’s deal with these pests," Garz-Tar smirked. His words made Hulk roar, forcing Banner to take control. The latter immediately used one of the techniques he learned from Edward: Energy Conversion. There were two powers behind Hulk’s strength: negative emotion and gamma radiation. Edward then taught him how to convert other energy into gamma radiation when necessary.
Garz-Tar squinted his red eyes. He immediately stabbed the beast with a few more flaming spears, but it was useless. The creature was absorbing his power at an alarming rate and converting it into his own. ’I need to move quickly then.’
His body moved, instantly appearing above Natasha and the others. Garz-Tar released a tornado of flames, trying to extinguish all of them. "Natasha," Sam yelled before morphing into an earth creature more than ten meters. His hands turned into an earth shield, blocking the immense flame.
Natasha reacted and controlled her shadow to swallow everyone and teleport them away. "Hmm? They survived?" Garz-Tar muttered as he looked at them in the distance.
"Wong," Natasha said.
"I’m on it," Wong held Sam’s burned body and forced a potion down his throat. The effect was effective as Sam’s body rapidly regenerated, but his consciousness was still asleep. Garz-Tar appeared before them, leaving a shockwave path behind him. He punched the team with the intention of turning them into blood mist.
However, Tony’s suit suddenly turned black from red before releasing a shield that barely blocked the attack. During the infiltration, he had access to Natasha’s Shadow Dimension and used its energy to power his suit. Now, he was using the same tactic, but on a larger scale.
"We need a plan, and we need one now," Tony said with a grave face. He was pumping so much energy into his suit that, based on Jarvis’s calculation, the armor would be destroyed in less than five minutes. ’I didn’t know it had such a flaw,’ Tony complained. Shadow Energy was dark-attribute energy, making it extremely corrosive to metals. Based on previous tests, the suit had no problem, but after channeling the energy of an entire dimension, it showed a significant weakness.
"Your humans never fail to impress me," Garz-Tar said. "But enough playing around." Boom! His body was punched more than two thousand kilometers.
"Banner?"
"I’m at my limit," Banner said as he slowly transformed from the Hulk state. "I’m going to pass out to turn all the energy absorbed into my own. We need to escape." He immediately passed out after saying these words.
"I have a portal out of this dimension," Wong yelled, and Natasha immediately picked up Banner before rushing over with Tony. However, before anyone could enter, Garz-Tar appeared and tore the portal apart, releasing a torrent of spatial energy with devastating effects on this dimension.
The spatial structure of this realm became unstable, resulting in hundreds of portals opening randomly. Most portals were connected to one another, but some were linked to other dimensions. As Natasha sensed danger coming toward them, she turned the team into shadow before entering a portal, teleporting her a dozen meters from her original spot.
Garz-Tar followed her through the portal, and so began a cat-and-mouse chase through the portal. In one moment, everyone had teleported to the northern part of the dimension, which is enveloped in flame, and the next, they were in the ocean.
Garz-Tar was persistent, following them through hundreds of portals and pushing Natasha to her limit as she carried everyone and pushed her speed to the limit.
"Over there," Wong suddenly said, pointing to a portal more than five thousand kilometers away. After more than ten minutes of this constant chase, he had calculated a portal to another dimension. Natasha did not hesitate to create thousands of Shadow Clones with the same aura to distract the demon.
Her method worked, but it only bought her a few seconds. Garz-Tar’s demonic senses discovered the real version and chased them to the portal. He reached in time since the team was forcing this portal closed, and he barely had his hands through it.
With his brutal strength, Garz-Tar forced the portal open, but what welcomed him was a shadow blast from Tony’s blasters. Half of his face was destroyed, but such an injury was minor for him. Garz-Tar calmly regenerated it before proceeding to open the portal so he could enter whatever dimension they were in.
"Damn it," Natasha said, feeling a sense of despair. If this demon followed them through this dimension, they would not survive for long. "Any ideas?" she asked.
"I’m thinking," Tony said as Jarvis calculated millions of possibilities. "I can create a pocket dimension and explode it, creating a dimension fissure."
"Are you crazy?" Wong said. "We will all die."
"Not if I calculate it correctly. The shockwave should safely send us to different dimensions and create portals to more than a thousand dimensions. The demon cannot track us down from all these portals, but Wong, you should be able to."
"How sure are you about this plan?" Natasha asked.
"27%, no, 22%, no 17%."
"Why does it keep going down?" Wong asked.
"The calculations are more complex than I thought," Tony admitted.
"How are you going to ensure the dimensional energy from the fissure does not tear us apart?" Natasha asked.
"Well, the plan is —"
An explosion suddenly occurred, shaking the portal. The team looked over, and they saw the demon was surrounded by black lightning and had one arm destroyed. Then, an arrow suddenly appeared and tore apart his left arm.
"Arrow? It must be Clint that’s borrowing us time. Hurry up and close the portal," Natasha said, and the three worked together to close the portal. Wong even placed an extra-dimensional barrier to strengthen the surrounding space and erased all traces to prevent the demon from tracking them.
"Oh, thank Agomotto for his blessing, we are alive," Wong said.
"That was a nice assist by Clint," Natasha said.
"It’s a shame about my plan," Tony said as the armor on his head disappeared, showing his handsome face. Everyone stared at this madman. "I’m just kidding. By the way, where are we?"
They looked around, observing the surroundings.
"Why does everywhere in this timeline look like the lair of a villain?" Tony complained. The sky was dark, every building was black, and an ominous energy was everywhere in the environment.
"This place looks familiar," Wong said. He observed briefly before casting a few spells. "I think we’re in Asgard."
"Asgard? Thor and Loki’s world? I wonder what happened to them in this timeline," Tony said.
"I detect oncoming signs of life. We need to move on," Natasha said before taking them away. A few seconds later, a rainbow descended on their location, showing Asgardian soldiers in black.
