Forbidden Game: Ruthless CEO, Please Set Me Free-Chapter 909 - 918: Brothers (5)
"Chenchen, your brother Qiqi is not familiar with the new school, so you should help him get to know it here, okay?" Qiao Mo instructed with concern after sending the two children to kindergarten.
Given that both kids had previously snuck out of kindergarten, Fu Nancheng had specifically spoken to the principal to ensure it wouldn’t happen again.
Moreover, due to Yu Qianxun’s presence, he had also talked to the principal and teachers, making sure that no one except himself, Qiao Mo, Xu Wan, and Li Qingcheng could visit or pick up the kids.
"Okay, don’t worry, Mom! I’ll take good care of my brother!" Chenchen seemed very happy.
Qiao Mo nodded and said to Qiqi again, "During the day, stay with your brother, and in the evening, Mom and Dad will come to pick you up, okay?"
Qiqi nodded and followed Chenchen, turning to walk into the kindergarten.
Watching the backs of the two children, Qiao Mo softly asked Fu Nancheng, "Has Qiqi’s name been changed?"
"Yes, Fu Shaoqi."
After getting into the car, Fu Nancheng drove Qiao Mo to the company.
After being away from work for several days, the company had accumulated a lot of matters. Qiao Mo couldn’t stop thinking about the two children in kindergarten, wondering if they would be uncomfortable.
At three in the afternoon, the kids were having free playtime on the playground.
Chenchen originally wanted to take Qiqi to play on the slide, but Qiqi didn’t want to go. He found a tree and sat there watching other kids play. 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚
Even though Chenchen really wanted to play, he couldn’t stop worrying with his brother sitting there, so after a brief internal struggle, he decided to sit with Qiqi under the tree.
Soon, some other kids came over. One sturdier kid holding a soccer ball looked Qiqi up and down and asked, "Little mute, where did you come from?"
Qiqi stayed silent as if he hadn’t heard the other kid’s words.
But Chenchen couldn’t hold back. He stood up, brushed the dirt off his pants, and said dissatisfied, "My brother is not mute!"
"If he’s not mute, then why doesn’t he speak?"
"He just got hurt and can’t talk right now!"
"Nonsense, I think he’s just a mute! Mute, mute!" The sturdy kid jeered, and several other kids joined in mischievously.
Chenchen became a bit angry, standing in front of Qiqi and saying, "You can’t talk about my brother like that!"
"I’ll say it if I want to! Mute, little mute! Chenchen’s brother is a mute!"
Most kids are naturally mischievous and don’t harbor any deep-seated malice, nor do they realize their words might hurt others.
But Chenchen, who had always been sensitive due to not having a father, felt upset when his brother Qiqi was teased like this.
"Don’t say that about my brother! You’re mean! Go away!" Chenchen stood in front of the kid and reached out to push the sturdy boy.
The boy, being quite hefty, didn’t fall but stumbled back a few steps.
The soccer ball in the boy’s hand fell to the ground, and Chenchen immediately kicked it far away.
The boy instantly became unhappy, and after exchanging a few more words, they started fighting.
A few other boys nearby chimed in, and soon, the kids familiar with the two joined the scuffle. It looked like a cloud of dust from afar, with several kids wrestling together, displaying their inexperience.
Qiqi, who had been silent the whole time, watched Chenchen being entangled by two older children, his heart tightened, fists clenched at his sides, eyes fixed unblinkingly on Chenchen’s direction, extremely tense.
