A large number of Sky Ninja appeared in the passage ahead, immediately spotting Ruri. Without hesitation, they grabbed their weapons, and kunai sliced through the air, continuously firing out from the weapon’s barrel.

The kunai nearly brushed past Ruri’s body without a single one hitting her, not even grazing her clothes.

The passage lined with metal plates exploded directly, the transparent pipes attached ruptured, releasing Chakra that dispersed into the air and quickly vanished.

A squad of Sky Ninja was annihilated by Ruri’s single strike, falling to the ground unable to rise.

Continuing sprinting down the passage, arriving at the third intersection Ayane mentioned, immediately turning left.

The passage ahead was still occupied by numerous Sky Ninja, seemingly protecting someone of importance, barring Ruri’s advance.

They grabbed the Shuriken Shooters capable of rapid kunai fire, ready to pull the trigger.

The passage’s temperature suddenly soared, raging flames swept up from ahead, burning the passage’s metal plates red-hot.

No time to scream, the narrow passage was entirely consumed by flames, including the Sky Ninja within.

Having eradicated all the Sky Ninja in the passage, the flames didn’t pause, but instead slammed into the giant door at the end.

Accompanied by a thunderous explosion, the giant door was blasted open.

Charred Sky Ninja corpses, kunai guns turned into parts covered with burn marks, mixed with scorching flames and thick black smoke, fell down from the sky.

The passage outside the room was enveloped in high temperatures, the air warped by the heat.

Ruri, dressed in spotless black tights, leisurely walked to the entrance as if strolling while scanning inside the room.

This was the main chamber of the Royal Capital Fortress, circular in construction, with a grand scale.

Deep inside the main chamber, a massive pillar wrapped in vine-like transparent pipes supported the chamber above and below. At the base of the giant pillar was a wide stone throne.

Ruri saw the middle-aged man sitting on the stone throne and calmly said, "Looks like you’re the Leader of the Sky Ninja."

Her eyes displayed the Three-Tomoe Sharingan, gazing faintly at him.

The middle-aged man sitting on the stone throne—Shinno, clapped his hands and praised Ruri in an admiring tone, "Impressive. That’s the power of the Sharingan? As a renegade ninja of Konoha, finding your way here deserves a compliment, girl."

Ruri, being an S-Class Renegade Ninja from Konoha, combined with her Uchiha prestige, Shinno, though hidden underground for years, wasn’t lacking in information and knew some things about Ruri.

Ruri withdrew her fist, and Shinno knelt, bent over, on the ground, his fake smile contorted into a twisted fierce grin, his brows twitching in pain, saliva dripping from the corners of his mouth.

This damn girl is just too strong! He painfully raised his head, wanting to take another look at Ruri’s face.

Just as he tried to lift his head, he was struck hard on the back of his head.

His head collided violently with the hard ground, the floor cracked, half his head embedded within, spewing another mouthful of blood, his facial muscles contorted.

Ruri stepped on Shinno’s head, preventing him from retaliating, not even allowing him to lift his head.
