Sumatra's Greatest Fan-Chapter 95: Cooter Clan Enters The Dralh Sea
Every Free Human Kingdom would be established across a region based on the single, most important requirement–the mineral deposits.
The Grade of the mineral deposit and the quantity of it available in the region, alongside its ease of mining access, determined the Kingdom’s overall strength.
As long as a single Silver Grade mineral deposit was available in a region, a Free Human Kingdom could be successfully established there. As long as the deposit was enough to maintain a dozen Free Humans in the Life Stage with Silver Grade strength, the Kingdom would be somewhat stable.
Starting from the Dralh Sea, the mineral deposits would gradually increase in number, until the Brimgan Sea, where the sheer quantity and quality of available mineral deposits made it endless.
Blessed Land–was the term used to describe regions overflowing with minerals.
Free Humans could thrive the most in such regions, as the minerals to build their Humans Avatars would be readily available for their use. That was why the Brimgan Empire was a hegemon.
The Dralh Sea, as a region with an influx of water from eight sources, also had a decently high concentration of minerals. Of them, there was an Iron Grade mineral available in abundant quantities, enough to seem inexhaustible.
It was called Zarzelite and could be mined straight from the sea bed. When Zarzelite was acted upon by the cultivation technique used exclusively by the Brimgan Royals, it could be refined and elevated to higher Grades.
After an enormous consumption of resources, Zarzelite gets elevated to Tratham, a Gold Grade mineral.
The Mystic Human Council had a deal with the Brimgan Royals. They will mine and transport the Zarzelite to the Brimgan Empire. And once refined into Tratham, the Brimgan Empire will transport it back to the Dralh Sea.
The Brimgan Empire was paid with a large batch of Parute Fruits while the Mystic Humans received a Gold Grade mineral for their use.
Most of the Mystic Humans had an Ewworm Body, and used Tratham to form its tool. It was a pretty versatile mineral and hence valued by the Mystic Humans.
Along the borders of the Dralh Sea was a rocky hill, barren. Since it didn’t have any vegetation, no Pranic Beast in the region bothered with the hill. This was actually a watch tower installed by the Mystic Humans.
The inside of the hill was hollow, and living within was a strange Pranic Beast.
Advanced Iron Grade Pranic Beast–Ramat!
With a Prana capacity of 860 and a lifespan of 90 years, the Ramat was a two-metre-long rodent with a humanoid head. It was a herbivore and reached maturity in ten years. Through a single mating session, it could birth over thirty babies in six months.
A female Ramat could go through at least fifty birth sessions when there was an abundance of food resources, which wasn’t an issue in the region.
Four Ramats munched upon the leaves hanging down a tree when they spotted five Battleships moving through the Kappeet Channel. Immediately in response, they rushed into the rocky hill and burrowed to their home.
And then, a Ramat ran to the peak, faced a certain direction into the Dralh Sea, and unleashed a series of crimson flashes from its eyes.
The Ramat was a Pranic Beast newly created by the founder of the Mystic Humans. The crimson flashes they release can be picked up by the Mystic Humans with their Tratham tools. These flashes were a means of communication, providing intelligence to the Mystic Humans.
It had been less than three months since their creation, so the intelligence network using the Ramats was pretty incomplete. That’s why most things slipped through their sights.
However, the five Battleships were pretty conspicuous. And the moment the Ramat relayed the information, a boat set sail from the island that received the information.
Tratham was a mineral that released light across the visible spectrum, containing dispersion of force accompanying the respective spectrum. The red light released force in the shape of a beam, and the more one went towards violet, the more the force gets dispersed radially.
The boat spanning a length of four metres was made using Tratham. It was being controlled by one of the two Mystic Humans. It released a reddish radiance into the sea and propelled the boat forward.
And whenever the waves wobbled the ship, the radiance changed to orange or yellow depending on the degree of wobbles.
Since the sea was relatively calmer, the boat maintained a reddish radiance for most of the journey.
Standing on it tensely was a middle-aged man and his daughter. The middle-aged man had just become a full-fledged Mystic Human a couple months ago and hence looked older. But as the days spanned past, he was getting more and more younger, since a Mystic Human lived way past a millennium.
His daughter was significantly more talented and had become a Mystic Human many years ago. She was in charge of the island they came from.
"Dad, is the Cooter Clan coming to wage a war with us?" She asked, growing jittery the moment the five Battleships came into view over the horizon.
"We can’t put it past them." The middle-aged man tried his best to hide his nervousness, "I heard their Deities rampaged all over Sumatra recently."
A couple minutes later, he expressed in all seriousness, "Let’s probe them and try to buy as much time as possible. If nothing works, I’ll hold them back while you run away."
"And do what? Lose my only family?" The girl shed tears, "Mother failed to become a Mystic Human and died. All my siblings died too. Only you succeeded, dad."
"I..." She clutched her chest, "We finally succeeded after years of struggles. This...this is too cruel."
"I’m only making you prepared for the worst case scenario." The middle-aged man expressed, "We’ve already alerted the Council. Someone from the council will be dispatched here soon. Until then, let’s try to buy time.’
The duo cheered each other as their boat approached the five Battleships. They stopped the boat once they neared the Battleships. The Battleships, however, accelerated towards them, and even went to the extent they spawned a tsunami that charged from their front.
"Shit!" The middle-aged man uttered and eyed his daughter, signalling her to flee. And right as they were about to take action, there was a flash of gold, and the tsunami disappeared.
The five Battleships too had stopped.
"Please rest assured, Dear Mystic Humans." It was Brunta Brimgan who had interjected, announcing with a kind voice, "We’ve come here for a cause."
"I, Brunta Brimgan, intend to serve as a bridge between the Cooter Clan and the Mystic Humans to establish a trade agreement."
