Since right now there are very few survivors compared to undeath meaning, he should be able to detect human presence which definitely tells Him where they went, so it’s pretty easy for him to point out where they went

Saeko led the group while the group followed without any complaints as they knew it was the only thing they could do

On the way, all of them were silent as no one was in the mood to chit-chat considering they still hadn’t recovered from what just happened

They dont know what Kaneki is capable of which is also the reason they dont know if he can beat the new enemy or not

Moreover, they were worried because he needed to take the enemy somewhere else to fight which they were concerned about since it meant the enemy wasn’t weak at all

Which is the reason they were all worried for him and now even Saya who has always been complaining type right is very quiet

While everyone’s mind was distracted by this, Saeko alone was paying attention to the surroundings mainly since an attack from a zombie could happen from anywhere which is definitely not good

Not to mention till yesterday they were nothing but ordinary students, even Saeko was also affected by Kaneki’s decision

She is the only one other than Kaneki who managed to sense the enemy even though she herself didnt know how she did that but for some reason, she knew the danger gonna appear

And she also knows that it’s not your ordinary threat thats why she was also sweating and feeling nervous about this new threat

She knows if she were to be in Kaneki’s position then there is no way she would be able to detect her attacks when she barely managed to sense her presence which makes her scared

Thinking about what would happen if Kaneki weren’t with them and knows the only reason they are alive till now is purely due to Kaneki

The first time he saved them from the horde of zombies in the school and now from this special type of enemy

And now they are without him meaning that they needed to rely on themselves rather than Kaneki making all shaken

But Saeko has been disciplined since childhood, so she knows this is no time for her to be dozing off at all otherwise consequences will be deadly

Luckily not many zombies were there as she thinks it’s probably due to the fact that Kaneki attracted zombies before going by making the noises

While the few zombies they encountered on the way, Saeko cut them with her katana alone which also helps her to clear her mind more as she sees things more clearly

’As I thought swinging my sword helps to calm my mind’ Saeko said this in her mind as she couldn’t help but look at her katana which is now dyed in the blood of zombies

And not only that swinging her katana while slashing down the zombies helps a lot more, after this she couldn’t help but think Is it because of a weird tendency to hurt others

She found herself disgusted by this still she knows if this helps then it’s not a bad thing right this moment since she is now more focused than before meaning she can protect them better

She needed to do this in order to safely find a shelter then protect everyone of them as Kaneki did, she is really getting attached to all of them

She is now considering everyone of them as precious people after all now they were the ones giving her herse of family which is why she dont wanna lose any of them

From her childhood, she spent most of her time doing nothing but training with her sword, due to her father even after joining high school she still was doing training daily

But even though she got friends in high school she still knew they were nothing other than fake friends due to the fact that she could easily see their jealousy

And knows they are only friends in name which is why she never hangs out with any of them, and prefers her time swinging her sword alone or talking to Shizuka as even though she is an teacher Shizuka is someone whom Saeko can call a friend

Shizuka is someone who always treated her kindly no matter what, Saeko can tell it’s not only on the face, but she is really kind which is why Saeko likes someone like her

And now after meeting with Rei, Saya and Kaneki, she somehow now can know the feeling of family since Rei is someone who even though she is not certain about many things and is not good with many things still she did try her best to help them as much as possible

Saya even thinks that says a lot of complaint still Saeko can tell or even anyone else in the group that she cares about others more than anyone

Kaneki is even though most of them are scary and terrifying as well as he is most of the time he is silent still he cares about them as he protects them as well as helps them

Alice even though she joined the ground later, is still saeko Fond of her since she always wanna have a little sister and now that wish seems to be fulfilled as well

Lastly, Shizuka whom Saeko knew before and even now she seems the same kindness she had before even in this zombie apocalypse which makes her glad

Which is why she swears on her life that she won’t let anyone get hurt even a little bit while she is here
