Chapter 877: Chapter 913: The Key for Her

"It’s been quite a while, Aunt. It’s natural you don’t remember, but maybe you can think about it more, like back then... the Kinston Family..." Francine Howards reminded.

Gemma’s heart suddenly trembled, her eyes widened in disbelief as she looked at the person in the photo. Could it be... could the person in the photo actually be that person?

But how could that be!

That person from back then should have already... Gemma felt her body shake, her eyes filled with shock, confusion, and puzzlement.

"Who exactly is this person?" Gemma asked.

"Aunt, haven’t you already guessed?" Francine smiled, "But if you knew that person’s current identity, I’m afraid you’d be even more surprised." 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

"Current identity?" Gemma asked, puzzled.

"Yes, his current identity is..." Francine leaned closer to Gemma’s ear and said just a single sentence, which made Gemma’s face change completely.

Mabel Quinn looked at the key Kyle Kinston handed to her and asked, puzzled, "What’s this key for?"

"It’s the key to your former residence," Kyle said, "Whenever you want to go there in the future, you can. If you want to renovate it, that’s okay too, and for cleaning, you can decide whether you want to clean it yourself or have a professional cleaning corporation help."

Mabel looked astonished, "You bought that house? But back then, you said it wasn’t necessary to buy..."

"For me, it’s just small money, but for you, it might be a regret," Kyle said, "Why not keep the key first, and later, if you truly feel there’s no need to keep the house, we can sell it then."

Mabel held the key, feeling its weight, "Kyle, thank you," she said.

He gave a slight smile, "I only hope you can be happy, and don’t want you to have any regrets."

He was always like this, thoughtfully considering many things for her, Mabel said, "I’d prefer to keep the house as it is. I’ll go over and clean it on weekends."

"Alright," Kyle said, "Then on the weekend, I’ll go with you."

When the weekend arrived, Kyle drove Mabel to the old house once again. Mabel had prepared cleaning tools, looking at the dusty house, then glanced at Kyle’s expensive outfit, and said, "Why don’t I clean it myself? Your clothes getting dirty might be troublesome."

"I didn’t think it through," Kyle smiled, shed his jacket, placed it aside, rolled up his sleeves, and said to Mabel, "This should be less of a problem now. Even if it does get dirty, a wash will clean it."

Seeing her hesitation, he gently ruffled her head and said, "Do you really think I’ll let you clean this whole place by yourself while I stand by and watch?"

"..." Well, Mabel couldn’t argue, so she grabbed two simple cloth headwraps, handing one to Kyle.

"What’s this?" he asked.

"It’s for wearing on your head while cleaning, to prevent dust," she said, demonstrating by putting one on her own head.
