Panic ensued when the massive zeppelin eclipsed the sun and everyone ran for cover praying they weren't noticed. Especially the three huntresses who remained topless not only ran for safety but also for decorum.

"How does that thing even fly?" Asked Bella with a gaping mouth.

"That's the Mapple corporation for you." Uriel let out astonished by the size of the ship.

"Huh, that's not Mapple's, I'm sure." Nika shook her head.

"Why are you... Nevermind." Uriel grabbed three oversized T-shirts for the girls for the sake of modesty inwardly swearing to take it out of their pay.

"Should we shoot a flare?" Alice asked.

"That's the dumbest idea I've ever heard. Nika should grab our weapons since she's the only one who can go in and out of the Sparrow unnoticed and then we should wait and see if they're friendly." Bella scoffed.

"That's the stupidest idea. A ship like that is bound to have rangers with far sight, they'll see me no matter if I'm in the shadows." Nika scoffed in a manner much similar to Bella.

"Actually, you should go and meet us at the island center where Luna is right now. I have a feeling we might need to hide a bit deeper than just behind trees." Uriel said after the zeppelin turned on its spotlights despite it being mid day.

Nika did as she was asked and joined the group when they were already discussing what to do next. Uriel proposed getting inside the dungeon while Alice insisted contacting them was the best shot they had.

"We are stranded in this island without any engineers to fix the Sparrow. We can contact them and ask for help, a chance like this won't likely repeat itself soon. Sure, they'll probably ask for payment, but..."

"Absolutely no, I'm against it."

"I think we should vote." Alice proposed and Hazel seemed to agree with her.

"This isn't a democracy, in fact, it's the complete opposite. You're just an employee and should just do as you're told." Uriel grunted.

"We are not your employees and a vote might be the right thing to do." Hazel said.

"It's really not, I don't think it's a coincidence that they showed up in here." Uriel shook his head.

"They might be on their way to America." Alice rebuked, but then the island spoke.

"They are not. My friend said she wanted to go to Europe and that's where we are headed. They probably came in response to my flux signature. It's happened before, but I always run away in time."

"Good, let's do that." Luna said.

"I could, but I need to clarify something. Your species can't breathe under water, correct?" The island asked.

"I can." Marina lifted her arm, then put it back down once everyone glared at her with murderous eyes.

"Then I won't be able to escape. They are faster than me and my only advantage is I can submerge myself in the water." The Island explained.

"Then why don't you let us inside the dungeon? Won't that solve everything?" Luna asked.

"It won't make a difference, the interior will also get filled with water."

"That jerk said he told us everything about his exploration to Atlantis, but somehow failed to mention that detail." Uriel snarled thinking of Jon.

"So, our only options are to drown if the island submerges, to drown inside the dungeon or to probably get killed by enemies. I say we take our chances with the zeppelin, at least we'll go down fighting." Hazel said and the rest of the Defenders joined her puffing out their chests as though they were striking a pose.

"Or we can just take shelter inside the dungeon with these." Uriel showed a full scuba gear he bought from his shop. One of the good things that came along with knowing most of the Defenders from before was the fact that he didn't need to hide his ability to buy items from his souvenir shop, though they were still impressed by how much equipment he was able to summon.

"Is there an end to what you can summon?" Asked Hazel, curiosity brimming through her hazel eyes. Uriel, though, did not reply as he was inwardly moping at being forced to spend so much money once more.

"I will let you inside the first chamber, but go no further than that or you will face consequences." The sentient island of Atlantis warned before opening the seal and letting the hunters inside at the exact time the zeppelin opened fire.

The last one to enter was Nika since she was able to catch up to then in an instant and she did so in order to get as much information as she could before the island disappeared in the depths of the ocean.

Due to the size of the immense ship, its cannons seemed to be small in comparison, though nothing could differ more from the truth as it became evident when she saw the size of the projectiles it fired. Each cannon round packed quite the punch and took out a huge chunk of land, but the island shrugged them off and didn't so much as yelp before slowly sinking in.

"Did we get it!?" Asked a man dressed in something that seemed like a military uniform, only it was completely black and lacked any decoration that could hint the rank.

"No, Sir, but the island has sunk and their energy flux signature has disappeared." A man sitting in one of the many control seats in the bridge replied.

"It seems our intel was correct, but the man eater island got to them first.

Open comms and relay this information, we don't want the boss getting on our case for this." The first man said as he watched the foaming tide caused by the sinking of Atlantis and the gargantuan zeppelin continued on its way across the Atlantic ocean to carry on their most important mission which was to pick up the owner of the Hathaway company.
