"Uriel, stop thinking about killing my friend or I will be mad at you." Luna scolded.

"I wasn't... Okay, fine, I may have considered it for a second there, but this island has been good to us so far and I have no interest in being hostile towards someone, or something, that's been nothing but kind to us. However, there is something I'd like to know..." Uriel's eyes lit up brightly in blue, not in anger, but in excitement at the thought of learning about a lost civilization.

"Do you remember the people that used to live in this island, I mean the first inhabitants. Can you tell me about them?"

"I do remember them, of course. They were tall people, ingenious beyond imagination and they were powerful too. They already lived in this place before I became sentient, in fact, my first memory is of the ritual."

"The ritual?" Uriel asked, already suspecting what kind of ritual the cryptid was speaking about.

"Yes, it was a celebration of abundance and wellness in which they dressed in beautiful colors and dance from dawn to dusk. And then they gifted me with the chosen ones."

"The chosen ones?" Luna tilted her head.

"Human sacrifices, offerings to appease the island I suppose." Uriel explained.

"Yes, they gladly offered their lives to me and in return I would make sure the fish were always plentiful, the weather nice and I would also treat those who offered their lives to me with kindness, gifting them with sweet dreams until they passed.

They used to fight among themselves for the privilege of being chose, but then things changed and somehow I ended up falling into a slumber and was then woken up by thousands of short men."

"Pigmies." Luna uttered in excitement.

"No, I think its referring to the Mapple corporation. The island may believe they were short in comparison to the past inhabitants of the island."

"Indeed," The island continued. "One of them somehow opened the entrance to what you call a dungeon and all manners of aggressive creatures came out and killed most of them. I did what I could to help them, I truly did." Despite it being a cryptid, the island showed more emotion than Luna ever did when recounting what happened.

However, Uriel doubted it had anything to do with saving lives and what triggered the cryptid's remorse was the wasted meal. Not that it bothered him as he understood that all creatures followed their instincts and behaved accordingly. The fact that they weren't dealing with an anomalous cryptid but rather an intelligent one actually reassured Uriel since that meant they knew what to expect from it.

As long as Luna upheld her word and kept it fed, the island would follow the agreement and keep them safe.

Finally able to relax, Uriel joined those who were having fun by the beach since he still needed to recover from Nika draining his flux energy.

However, while Nika, Bella and even Alice sunbathed by the beach enjoying the fresh breeze and the calm weather, Uriel remained pondering about his findings.

The stone carving said the word 'Atlantis' and the island confirmed it was its name. It made sense since it was theorized that the mythological Atlantis was said to be located in the middle of the Atlantic sea west of Gibraltar, but there were also many things that made Uriel wonder if there was more to the story than the island let out.

The people the island mentioned fitted Water warlock's race and they also seemingly disappeared, but the cryptid island knew nothing about it.

"A penny for your thoughts." Nika said with a gentle smile.

"A penny won't do." Alice chuckled.

"You think?" Said Nika as she searched her purse, then dropped a single trite on the ground which Uriel promptly picked up like he was in autopilot. "hey, what's up, you're awfully quiet."

"I think I just took the biggest step forward in my research and I'll need to make a Vlog, but doing so in the beach doesn't feel professional." Uriel replied after snapping out of his reverie wondering where did the trite in his hand came from.

"On the contrary, you have all you need for posterity. Cute girls in swimsuits, delicious food and a beautiful landscape. If you really think about it, this might as well be an archaeological thing.

A place like this would be hard to picture for people who live in the slums." As much as Uriel wanted to disregard Nika's words like usual, he had to admit once more that behind her carefree attitude there was always a sliver of wisdom.

"This is Uriel Sage's private Vlog and it will be a short one. Recent findings have led me to believe that dungeons were built on different periods of time and although I can't assess it precisely, it should be safe to assume the one in Easter island called 'Te pito te nua' was the oldest, followed by Atlantis, then Chichén Itzá, Death Valley dungeon and the Alamo being the last.

This is only an estimation based on the little evidence I find, but..." Despite Uriel opening the Vlog by saying it was going to be a brief entry, he went on in a long ramble which soon got old for Nika who decided to spike Uriel's Vlog with a little mischief.

She directed a knowing gaze towards Bella who seemingly caught wind of her intentions and shortly after proceeded to take off their bikini tops in the background. Alice blushed up and panicked for a few seconds, even more so when a dark tendril made of shadows snapped on her back and snatched hers.

Unsure about how to react she remained stunned for a few seconds, until she broke the complicit silence with a loud shriek.

"Come on, it was just a small joke." Nika chuckled, but then became wary when she noticed Alice wasn't covering herself and was instead pointing at the sky to the east with a pale expression.

"I'm trying to work here." Uriel fumbled, only to unwittingly dropping his phone when Nika turned his head to the sky were a gigantic zeppelin drew near.
