After placing Captain Roberts in the altar the circular stone platform spiraled underground carrying the crying man into an eternal slumber effectively becoming nothing but a meal for the cryptid island. Luna watched the process with curiosity at first, but lost all interest once the man fell asleep as there wasn't much to see anymore.

"Now that we are friends, do you have any food I can eat?" Luna bluntly asked after her stomach grumbled.

"You already fed me. I guess it's only fair I do the same for you." The island shook violently for a few moments causing all sorts of fruits to fall off the bountiful trees. Luna wasn't much into fruit, but she figured it was better than eating the corpses of the Sparrow crew members. "I thought I had seen everything in my long life, but now you have me curious. How come you are not afraid of me?

Is it because you are part beast?"

"Uhm... no, I just like cryptids." Luna shrugged, her face stuffed with a fruit she failed to identify but that suited her sweet tooth.

"What about your friends, do they like cryptids too?" The island probed.

"Not really, no." Uriel yawned as he walked in scratching the back of his head as if waking up from the cryptid's ability without outside help was a natural thing.

"So this is the friend you warned me about." The island bellowed.

"Yes, he's a violent person and will kill you if you anger him." Luna's reply caused the cryptid to fall into a pensive state in which it found itself questioning its own sanity.

"Cryptids tricking humans into offering themselves is one thing, but becoming friends with them..." The island said out loud.

"It's no biggie, I'm already friends with a cryptid or two." Uriel said as he summoned his jaguar spirit for just enough time for the island to sense its flux energy. "besides, killing you would make you disappear and leave us stranded in the middle of the sea."

"It seems I made the right choice, then." The cryptid island replied while inwardly taking note of Uriel not questioning whether or not he could kill it, but the consequences of said action.

"Also, I'm not mad or anything. I had the best night sleep I've had in a while. I guess I should be thanking you." Uriel politely said.

"You are monopolizing my new friend, bad Uriel." Luna glared at him.

"Whatever, just came to see if you needed help. I'll let the others know you're alright." Uriel shrugged as he turned to leave.

"Is it true? Does your metal cage not work anymore?" The cryptid asked Luna who nodded her head. "and how are you going to bring me food? I can't go more than a couple thousand years without feeding."

"I'll figure it out," Luna said, but then became pale when she realized Medusa wasn't there. It wasn't just that she missed her friend, but she was subconsciously relying on her engineering skills to repair the ship. "or maybe I won't."

"Where do you need to go?" The island questioned.

"To Europe, but I don't know how to get there." Luna replied.

"I will figure it out then." The island finished the conversation with a light chuckle that sounded as though the rocks beneath the island rearranged themselves.

The Dungeon Raiders and the defenders spent the following days in the island that, in spites of its dark nature, was actually the closest thing to paradise they've ever experienced. Not a single cryptid inhabited it and even the coasts were safe to swim, something everyone appreciated but Marina especially since she was able to swim faster than anyone and she was also able to breathe under water.

Marina brought fresh fish, Luna all sorts of fruit and albeit reluctantly, Uriel bought snacks and energy drinks to share them with everyone. He also was forced into buying swimsuits for everyone after Nika and Marina threatened with skinny dipping, though learning their measures turned out to be a hassle for him due to the condition to activate his lewd magazine artifact.

Looking for some peace, Uriel found himself once more near the altar. Luna was already there conversing with the cryptid, but Uriel paid no mind to their chatter and walked near the altar to read the carvings.

"Is this for real!?" Uriel interrupted their conversation with a gasp.

"You can read the old language? I don't know If I can be surprised anymore." The island chuckled.

"Luna, come here and stay behind me. This thing is dangerous." Uriel replied.

"Just because something is powerful doesn't mean it's necessarily dangerous. Also, it's my friend, it won't hurt me." Luna replied.

"I don't mean the island, that's a dungeon entrance." Uriel said as he pointed at the altar.

"A dungeon?" Luna tilted her head.

"It's not just a dungeon, it's Atlantis!" Uriel shouted as he channeled his flux energy, ready to fight anything that dared come out of the dungeon that seemingly started the phenomenon called 'the arrival'.

"I remember now, that is my name!" Atlantis said both shocked and impressed by the young archaeologist ability to read the ancient language.

"You are the dungeon? I don't get it..." Luna said, disappointed that her cryptid friend may turn out to not be a cryptid at all.

"No, I am this island and this island is me. What you are seeing right now is my dwelling, if you wish to call it as such. I am tasked with protecting it from humans, but I may let those I find worthy to come in."

"And..." Uriel wanted to ask, but was shut down immediately by the island.

"No." The island said.

"What about..." Luna started speaking, but was also cut short.

"No, you can't come in either," The island said leaving no space for doubt. "If you can kill me, then you would be free to enter as you please, but before attempting something stupid I must warn you that my true power lies beneath the surface."
