Shuu limped as he followed behind his guide. The other man currently had Rin in his arms, leaving Shuu no choice but to follow him around for now.

They entered the loud and brightly lit building that seemed to be crowded. People were barely clothed inside and Shuu felt his eyes shutting down and diverting themselves in order to not see anything that was happening around him.

’This is so uncomfortable. Are people really comfortable and happy showing this much of their body to a stranger?’

It was very much against the values Shuu held and being here made him feel like he was doing something bad. So he tried to pick up his pace and get out of there.

"Oh my-! You suddenly look so eager to see the boss, kid. Now make sure to show the same eagerness once you are standing in front of the boss."

The guide let out a chuckle before he led Shuu toward the back of the club and finally out of harm’s way.

A sigh of relief left Shuu’s lips as soon as he felt safe. But that feeling was gone the next second as he felt arms tugging him left and right. Strangers were touching him and Shuu even tried to push them away. But his body had no strength.

"Woah-! This is some good stuff, man. Where did you get this guide? He’s guiding without even being told to. It feels good...Can you lend him to us for one night? We promise not to break him."

Once again, Shuu had no idea what these people were talking about. But his instincts warned him that it would not be a good idea for him to stay around these people. He needed to run...and he needed to run away fast.

His guard also noticed his panic and decided to help Shuu out by forcing himself between these new people and Shuu.

"Sorry, but this one is off-limits. He’s the boss’s property. So if you want a turn, go to the boss and tell him."

That made everyone flinch and pull their hands back.

"H-He’s the boss’s? You should have told us that before. A-Anyway, we should get going now. There is no point in angering a boss like that..."

People had been clutching at Shuu seconds ago, but now they were all gone. He could still feel their eyes looking at him and assessing him, but it was not the same searching glance as before.

But even that did not do anything to make Shuu feel better.

"Tsk, these low-lives do not know who they are messing with. Anyway, you better be careful around other espers as well. Our boss is not an understanding person. The sooner you learn this, the better it will be for you."

Shuu’s guard warned him and they continued to walk deeper until they finally stopped in front of a room.

Shuu’s instincts told him that there was someone or something dangerous behind this door. But he also felt like he could handle it.

These contradictory feelings made Shuu feel a little sick, but he quickly shook his head and stepped forward when his guard did. The guard knocked on the door before opening it.

"Boss, I am here with the guide you asked for. This is the one who managed to get away. What do you want us to do-"

Shuu hesitantly stepped forward even when his body was telling him that it was not a good idea.

But he ignored it and immediately felt sharp eyes looking him up and down in a way that made him feel exposed.

Shuu wanted to look away, but the small noise of disgust made him look at the ’boss’ and he immediately wished he had not.

Three pairs of eyes looked at Shuu with annoyance and hesitation. Those three delicate-looking people and the bulky older man whom Shuu assumed was the boss looked disgusted and annoyed to see him.

One of the delicate-looking men even grabbed the old man’s face and made him turn their way.

"Boss, are you throwing us away for a new and younger toy? Didn’t you promise us that you would keep us with you forever?"

The person asked and Shuu suppressed a shudder as soon as he felt those disgusting eyes looking at him once more.

He wanted to hide behind something, but there was nothing inside the room to hide behind. So he could only stand still as the old man finished observing him and lost interest in him.

"Hmm, it’s not like that, my dear. You are all precious to me as well. But as you all know, I am an A-class. I need a little more than ordinary people to feel better. Don’t worry, I am not abandoning you all. In fact, you all can teach your new youngest member some lessons on how to please me."

The old man giggled as he spoke.

Shuu noticed that all three pretty people around the older man stiffened and looked uncomfortable. But they plastered smiles on their faces and instantly assured the older man.

"Of course, honey. We understand what kind of issue this is. And we agree as well. If you need more help, then you need more help. But who will allow this child to recover first? He cannot serve you well if he’s hurt."

Another person spoke up and rested her hands on the older man’s chest. Her eyes looked at Shuu with a mixture of pity and anger.

Shuu did not want to be there as much as the other three did not want him to be there. But he could not speak up for now and waited for the three in front of him to give him a signal.

"Darling, why don’t you allow me to guide our youngest member to his room and tell him about his new duties? I can also take a look at his injuries and get medical attention."

The woman who took pity on Shuu spoke once more and the elder looked annoyed, making Shuu shrink himself to appear smaller.
