Heavens POV

I watched as Sofia walked towards us. She stood at the middle of Damon and Desmond with her arms crossed.

I sighed. Having her here was only going to add drama to what was already going on which is tiring.

"Can someone explain what in the world is going on here?" she said looking at Damon and Desmond.

They all stood there quietly.

Damon, who was looking at me was now walking towards Sofia.

"I thought you would be asleep by now," Damon said as he now stood in front of her.

"And I thought you were going to come see me," she said frowning.

"What are you doing with that thing?" asked pointing at me like I had a disease. She looked at me like she hated me with all her heart which she does.

Damon cleared his throat. "She was unconscious so we stayed here with her."

Sofia scoffed ,she looked around then came closer to Damon.

"Do you all think I’m stupid? You think I’m foolish and that I do not know anything right?" Sofia said.

"I came here and even looked for you four all over the mansion but I didn’t see you and now, you’re telling me that you were here with her."

"She was already crying. She had tears all over her face. It was funny how she could cry in just second.

I was already getting so irritated by her. Such a pretender.

"Why did you lie to me?," Sofia asked crying so heavily.

"We’re sorry we lied to you , the truth is that Heaven was cursed." Dylan said.

Sofia stopped crying and the entire room was quiet.

"We had to take her to a witch for a ritual to help her survive!" Desmond said.

"What! Are you for real or are you just lying so that i would pity her mad," Sofia asked.

"We’re serious," Dylan said.

She looked genuinely concerned. Then the tears on her face was still there only that they weren’t for them not coming to her but for me getting hurt.

She ran to Desmond arms and hugged him.

"Why did this happen to her? Oh poor Heaven" Sofia said.

I was so confused. How can a person switch so fast?

She pushed herself off Desmond and came closer to me.

"Heaven, I’m so glad that you’re okay," she said gently as she placed her hand on mine.

I I looked into her eyes and saw concern.

"How are you feeling now? Sofia asked.

I smiled and nodded. I knew all this was fake and pretense but I just went along with it.

Hmph!

Mrs Higgins scoffed.

I turned to look at her and so did Sofia.

"What!" Sofia asked looking at her from her head to her toe.

"Is’t it strange. Heaven was cursed with black magic."

The room was quiet. And Sofia’s smile faded.

"Black magic? That’s terrible. Who would do such a thing?"

"That’s what we’re trying to find out," Damian said.

Mrs. Higgins came around and stood in front to Sofia

"The curse was very specific, It was designed to look like a natural death. But it wasn’t. Someone wanted Heaven dead." Mrs Higgins said w o Ty her eyes still on Sofia

Sofia gasped softly.

Her hand went to her mouth.

"That’s horrible. Oh My Goddess

I don’t know but Sofia was sounding genuine with her reactions.

"And the person who did this had access to the mansion. And is somebody who would gain alot of Heaven was gone."

Sofia’s eyes widened.

"What are you saying?" she asked quietly.

Mrs. Higgins looked at her directly.

"I’m saying that someone in this pack wanted the Luna dead. Someone who would benefit from her being gone."

Sofia took a step away from Mrs Higgins. She looked really scared.

"You can’t be suggesting that I did it"Sofia said

"I’m not suggesting anything. I’m just saying it as it is. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺

Dylan frowned. "Mrs. Higgins, what are you trying to say?"

Mrs. Higgins turned towards his direction. " Alpha Dylan. I’m saying that the only person who would benefit from Heaven’s death is someone who wants to take her place."

Sofia’s face went pale. It was completely drained of colour.

"How dare you," she whispered. " how dare a lowly thing like you accuse me of something like that?"

"Mrs. Higgins, What exactly are you accusing Sofia of?" Damian said. He folded his hands around his chest.

"Forgive me Alpha. But I would like to suggest that we investigate everyone who has access to Heaven." Mrs Higgins said looking at the floor.

"Everyone? You mean Sofia." Damon said louder than he usually sounds.

Mrs Higgins nodded and turned her head towards Sofia.

The brothers looked at each other and I had a weird feeling about everything that was going on.

Mrs Higgins was blaming Sofia their beloved of trying to kill me to take my position.

"Sofia has been nothing but kind to Heaven these days. And you’re accusing her of trying to kill our mate?"

"I never said..."

Mrs Higgins tried to say something but Damon cut her Off.

"How dare you!" Damon growled.

He walked towards Mrs Higgins angrily and I was scared for me.

Sofia ran to Desmond and held his arm as is she was looking for protection.

"I don’t know what the hell is wrong with this woman" she said.

He tapped her arm. " it’s okay. But I hope you didn’t do it." He said as he looked her in the eye.

"Desmond , are you seriously asking me that? Sofia asked as another round of tears fell down her face.

"I didn’t do anything to her. I swear to the Goddess.

She said crying. Poll of tears fell down her face.

And it made me aske myself if it was truely Sofia that hurt me cause I was it worried.

Expecially for Mrs Higgins. Although she was an elderly woman and the pack most powerful healer but she wasn’t bigger than the quadruplets alphas and they could kill her for doing something they didn’t like.
