Becoming Secret Nanny for Possessive CEO-Chapter 33: Preparation for the Masquerade Ball Part II
Arabella was still enjoying her wine alone at the bar until she felt even more overwhelmed after drinking two bottles. When her patience reached its limit, she wanted to throw the glass at the bartender. At this point, she hated everyone she saw. Especially since everyone was still smiling while she was suffering, making her incredibly jealous.
Her right hand was about to throw the glass, but her action was immediately stopped by the handsome young man who was also her boyfriend. She looked away and pushed him away with all her might.
"Why are you bothering me now?!"
"Seeing you like this makes me feel so sorry for you. I don’t know what trouble you’ll be in now. I’m sick of seeing you so helpless every time you get drunk!"
"You don’t have to interfere. I really want to kill that bitch! How dare she take Callum from me!"
Cliff’s brow furrowed. "Could it be that the bitch you’re referring to is Edith!"
"So, you’re still defending her when you hear she wants to take Callum away from me?!"
"No. I still won’t give up on pursuing her. That bastard doesn’t deserve Edith!"
Arabella slammed the table violently. "How dare you call Callum a jerk! And aren’t you even more of a jerk than him?!"
"What are you saying?"
"Yes, you’ve never looked in the mirror even though you’ve been playing with so many women. Unlike Callum, who’s been eyeing Edith for ages!" A harsh breath escaped her lips. "I’m so sick of dealing with you. You’ve defiled my body for five years, yet you dare to break up with me!"
"This is all because you’re the one who’s always chasing Callum! I know all this time you’ve only been using me to get close to Callum!"
Arabella slapped Cliff across the face, leaving him red-faced. "I won’t forgive you. I’m going to kill that bitch!"
Cliff held his swollen cheek, then carried Arabella like a sack out of the bar. He didn’t care as she continued to scream for help and pound on his back. Tonight, he just wanted her to satisfy him all night long while she was drunk. His hobby is always satisfying his desires by playing hot games every day with Arabella, never changing.

Meanwhile, the couple continued their dance lessons in their luxurious residence until nearly midnight. Eventually, they decided to retire to their room. The two hours of enjoyable dance practice made Edith grow fonder of Callum. She would soon be separated from him if a DNA test proved Cliff was the biological father of her twins. She could hardly imagine what it would be like for Callum to live alone.
Their bodies lay facing each other on the bed. Edith still didn’t want to fall asleep, as she loved Callum’s dancing lessons so much. Her eyes sparkled as she stared at the handsome face before her, still shining despite the fact that she had stepped on his toes countless times.
"If you keep staring at me like this, I’m going to have more trouble sleeping." His right hand stroked his lover’s cheek.
"Your feet must be hurting because I keep stepping on you."
Callum shook his head quickly. "It doesn’t hurt. In fact, I really enjoyed learning to dance with you."
"If another woman accidentally stepped on your foot, would you also act like this?"
"Of course I’d be angry. Even if they apologized, I wouldn’t forgive them."
"Thank goodness, I thought you would go easy on them at first."
Callum moved his lips closer to the red ones in front of him. "Are you really not going to let me go now?"
Edith blinked nervously as she covered her mouth with the blanket. "Don’t get me wrong! I’m actually acting this way for your own good. I don’t want you to be fooled by them."
"Hearing you care so much about me, well from now on I will only listen to what you say."
Once again, she accidentally said something that further misunderstanding Callum. The more Callum became attached to her, the more she couldn’t let go of him. How could she slowly distance herself from him? Should she start using negative words from now on?
"Callum, thank you for teaching me how to dance today. I’ll definitely practice even harder tomorrow."
"I really enjoyed learning with you today." His lips landed on her forehead lovingly. "This is why I don’t let you learn to dance with anyone else."
"Even though the instructor is a woman?"
"I don’t want you to trust anyone, including Cliff. I want you to be wary of him."
Edith furrowed her brows. She was actually curious as to why Callum kept warning her to stay away from the man she’d been hanging out with. Was Callum hiding another secret related to Cliff?
"You haven’t explained to me. Why do you want me to be wary of him?"
"Anyway, I won’t hand Erdin over to you if you leave me. Erdin has been my son from the start." His right hand rhythmically patted her supple back. "I’ve never hated you."
"I wish you’d hate me sometimes. I hate seeing you suffer because of me. Why should you give in?"
"Because I can’t let you go from my life."

Two days had passed, and Edith couldn’t work peacefully, unsure of what to do. If she were to be separated from Callum, she couldn’t bear to see Erdin living apart from his father. Moreover, today was the day she would decide whether she should leave Callum or not. She hadn’t expected the DNA test results to come back so quickly.
Edith still hasn’t dared to look at the DNA test results. She’s still focused on designing the outfits they’ll wear to the ball. Soon, she’ll have to dance with Callum in front of a large audience. Luckily, this ball is a masquerade, allowing her to hide her identity.
Finally, she couldn’t contain her curiosity any longer. As she opened the envelope and read the DNA test results, her eyes began to well up with tears.
