A Hundred Times: Ascending With The Strongest System-Chapter 29 - 28: Conditions: New Member Of The Phoenix Guild
Chapter 29: Chapter 28: Conditions: New Member Of The Phoenix Guild
"First condition: I want full privacy on the topic of my Status Window, nobody will be allowed to see it." Zoey demanded, her tone serious and making the air more tense.
"Why? What's so important about it? It's just a Status Window, not a diary." One of the guild representatives said, "Plus, it's mandatory to check your Status Window, how will we observe your growth and help you improve in the right areas?"
"Yeah, that's kind of suspicious? What are you hiding?"
The woman of the Raging Phoenix Guild looked at Zoey with curious eyes, wondering what secrets she was hiding behind her Status Window that were so important that she must hide it.
'Ho ho ho, we have an interesting one, let's see where this goes.' She thought with a sly smile.
'I don't know, maybe a crazily powerful Talent that could get me killed if I'm not careful.' Zoey thought, rolling her eyes, not paying their concerns and whispers any attention.
"Second condition!" Zoey continued, stopping the whispers around as they listened with full intent.
'They have impressive offers, especially the ones from the Raging Phoenix Guild. Let's see how far they'll go to get me.' Zoey thought with a grin, her eyes gleaming.
"I want to retain 50% of the items, weapons, materials, and Skill Books obtained from dungeon raids."
Most guilds take between 60-70% of all loot from expeditions, especially from lower-ranking Hunters, redistributing it to help weaker members grow. As a result, Hunters who do the hard work often only receive around 30% of their earnings.
However, Elite Hunters—those with significant talent and influence—are treated differently. They typically negotiate a 50-60% share, with the guild keeping the remaining 40% for operational costs and lower-ranked Hunters.
This is why top guilds are incredibly wealthy; they control most of the resources while ensuring their strongest Hunters remain satisfied.
"lastly, my third condition."
"I'd like to have the freedom of accepting tasks for the guild whenever I feel like it, I will not go through treacherous amounts off rigorous training, and I want full privacy, along with the pleasure of working by myself. These are my three conditions." Zoey said, observing the representatives.
"What! Who do you think you are to demand such absurd things!?" One of the representatives yelled, anger clear in their voice "50% is treacherous! What about the rest of the Hunters? We can't allow that, I'm sorry to say." The representative said as he got in his car and sped off.
"While we understand that you're an A+Rank Talent, just below S-Rank. We cannot allow you to do what you want, when you want.
Many Hunters are tasked with clearing dungeons and bringing valuable resources to the guild everyday, and that is a vital part that has to be performed for our guild to flourish." Another representative said, with the others nodding their heads in approval.
"So, you all decline?" Zoey grinned observing the displeased look on their faces, which is exactly what she wanted.
'This is perfect, hahahaha! Now they won't be bothe-' Zoey's thoughts were interrupted as one of the representatives accepted her conditions.
"I accept." The woman of the Raging Phoenix Guild said, crossing her arms under her ample breasts as she grinned in victory, much to Zoey's shock and suprise as this guild was the one she was least expecting to agree to her terms, especially considering their ruthless training.
"Wait, seriously?" Zoey asked to confirm, raising an eyebrow in suprise, disbelief evident on her face.
"Of course! You're an A+Rank Talent for crying out loud, just below S-Rank, we'd be fools to refuse your conditions, even if they are a bit strange and demanding. You'll be a valuable asset to our team, Zoey."
The woman said as she took out a contract for Zoey to sign, handing it to her, along with a black pen.
'...This....' Zoey still couldn't believe it, the elite Raging Phoenix Guild was actually willing to take her into their Elites, even with her crazy demands.
Zoey stared at the contract in her hands for a few seconds, before sighing as she made up her decision, signing the contract and becoming a member of the Raging Phoenix Guild.
The representative smiled happily as she clasped her hands together in joy, "Splendid! Welcome to the Raging Phoenix Guild, Zoey Monroe." The woman said as she extended her hand for a handshake. "My name is Sarina Nightshade, pleasure to be working with you."

Zoey sighed, running a hand through her hair as a small grin formed on her face, "Likewise." She answered, the benefits of the Raging Phoenix Guild hers to claim, especially the FIVE C-Rank Skill Books, as she couldn't wait to absorb them and raise them to their absolute peak.
The B-Rank weapon also excited her madly, as she now had plans on canceling the reservation of the [Knight's Oath] Sword she wanted previously, a much more powerful weapon awaited to be claimed by her.
The representatives cleared one by one, leaving the apartment complex with their cars as they drove out into the night. Leaving Zoey and Serina alone.
"I'll be coming to pick you up tommorow so we can go back to Sunrow City, to finalize your rewards and benefits for joining our guild." She said with a slight sigh, "Only problem I'll have is talking with our boss, he'd be so mad, but I'll make sure he warms up to you as he realizes your worth." She said as she stepped into the limousine.
"I understand." Zoey replied with an affirmative nod, Sarina grinning as they drove out of the apartment complex.
Zoey smiled as she watched them drive off, a huge wave of today's events washing over her. She moved to her apartment and opened the door as she walked inside, closing the door as she stood by it for a bit.
"So much has happened in just two days." Zoey muttered to herself as she reflected for a while, first her Awakening and the Trial of the Tower Of Hera, second the date with Christine, and lastly, the Raging Phoenix Guild.
She realized that she would be going back to Sunrow, the city that she had lamented ever since she had been born, because her family also resided there, and she just hoped that she wouldn't run into them again.
"I need to talk to Christine and tell her what happened," Zoey whispered as she grabbed her phone, but thought of something she had to do first.
"After I absorb everything I have remaining in my [Inventory]."
