Chapter 848: Chapter 848: Enslaving Penguins

At a far corner of the Known Universe, far away from a lot of things that were currently happening in the other parts, an icy galaxy existed.

Everything in this Galaxy was cold, everything.

The Stars, the Planets, even the black hole at the centre of the galaxy,. emitted a strange cold radiation.

It was true that if one looked hard enough, they would eventually find the most stunning things that shouldn’t be possible.

If any experienced scientist was here, they would be amazed to find out that almost every inch of this Cold Galaxy was defying the laws of thermodynamics.

Things that were cold were actually providing enough warmth for basic life to form.

All the things that existed here did not exist naturally of course. Under the stable laws of the universe, these things would not be possible.

The only reason they were like this was that there was a Law actively causing all this.

The Law of Cold.

"NOOOOO!"

A giant penguin the size of a small moon was flung out, its black and white body piercing through the nearest star faster than the speed of light and crashing into a few planets before stopping.

The Penguin, large and beautiful, lay on the surface of the planet that had stopped its uncontrolled flight.

It roared angrily at where it came from, expressing its rage in the form of a cold bird-like cry that caused a wave of cold energy to erupt from it.

All the planets in this Galaxy were already very cold and covered in a layer of ice. This planet that the giant Penguin was standing on was no different.

This new wave of cold energy only caused the layers of ice on the planet to harden and solidify.

The giant penguin flapped his flippers and stood up, his eyes filled with fierce determination.

"Abomination!" He snarled, his beak clacking powerfully.

"Why do you resist what must be? I am the saviour of all existence!"

A deep voice that was eerily soft and hard at the same time echoed in the ears of the faint Penguin.

"You dare come to my territory and spout such nonsense!

DIE!"

The giant penguin shrieked and spread out his flippers. A powerful dome of Primordial energy erupted from his body.

The Primordial energy was unique, like every other form of Primordial energy.

It was unique in the sense that it attuned itself almost perfectly with the environment and the entire galaxy.

The mystery was cleared.

For such a strange galaxy like this Cold Galaxy to exist, a powerful Law had to be very dominant in such a way that it bent the laws of physics to accommodate it.

Normally, Laws, like the Law of Cold, could not just do such a thing on their own without a Primordial or an avatar

This giant penguin was obviously a Primordial of Cold.

But for his power to affect the entire galaxy like this? This was not something just any Primordial with the same Law could do.

He had to at least be a Supreme Level Immortal.

And that was what he was. The Primordial Penguin was a Supreme Level Immortal.

Yet, he had been flung away from where he had been and uncontrollably crashed through multiple planets before stopping.

His opponent must be...

"Your efforts are futile!" The eery voice shook the void and it felt like everything that heard that voice was being compelled to listen and obey.

The Primordial Peacock did not listen, it continued to charge its power, calling on the frigid might of the entire Galaxy and focusing it on its enemy.

"HUMPH, INSOLENT!" This time, the voice went from persuasive to intolerable.

The Primordial Penguin could not react fast enough. It would have taken him a second or slightly more to gather all the power that he needed to send out the perfect attack.

But his opponent was faster, flashing through the star and slamming into the Primordial Penguin in less than a second.

Such a massive entity moving so fast was sure to create a lot of fractures in the fabric of reality.

The star that was flown through exploded, and the surrounding star systems were pulled in by a crazy powerful gravitational force.

The Planet the Primordial Penguin was shattered down to the very last atom, and it was bashed away.

The two entities flew to the galaxy and the cold sea of stars parted for both of them as they made their way to the edge.

Soon, they stopped and the enemy revealed himself.

A lion of grotesque features. Furless grey skin, an icky texture, and the body of a lion. Instead of a lion’s head, the grotesque creature had the head of a human.

A very ugly human. The teeth were too long and short out of the lip as if it were a human head, the teeth were stillion fangs.

The dark grey mane that a mature majestic would have had was not there. In its place was a mass of faded multicoloured fleshy tendrils.

This was Gabriel.

In his true final Sphinx form.

The Avatar of Slavery.

"You are no lion!" The Primordial Penguin said, coughing blood from his beak and looking at the abomination with fear.

Lions were supposed to be majestic, this one was just disgusting and not worth looking at.

But he was strong, very strong. If not that Gabriel still had that lingering mindset from when he was a Celestial Lion, he may have done worse to the Primordial Penguin.

"Your opinions mean nothing to me!" Gabriel said as his uncomfortable human eyes scanned the Penguin and his tendrils shot out.

The Penguin, already injured, had no way of dodging all the tendrils coming from all directions.

He released more of his Cold Essence but all it did was freeze the tendrils that got close. Gabriel bashed his way through the defence, tearing off the frozen tendrils and replacing them with new ones.

"What are you doing? STOP!" The Primordial Penguin shouted, as his powers were being forcefully contained and suppressed by Slave Essence and the tendrils.

"Do not worry," Gabriel muttered, "Soon, all will understand that I just want to save them.

I am their saviour.

You and your race of penguins will help me out, by will...or by force."

It could not be stopped, the tendrils. They drilled their way past the Cold Essence, breaking through the thick layers of ice to get to the Primordial Penguin.

The Primordial Penguin panicked, sensing that things were getting really bad right now.

It tried to summon the power of coldness that it had stored across the stars and billions of planets but it couldn’t. To his dismay, he discovered that Gabriel’s power was seriously blocking him and suppressing him.

"Please..." Finally, sensing that he was no match for Gabriel despite having the same power level, the Penguin switched to the method he knew best. 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚

Begging for life.

He wasn’t prideful like the others and wasn’t the kind that would rather die than submit.

"Do not resist!" Gabriel did not care about the pleading. He knew what he had to do and was going to do it by force.

The tendrils, finding a split second where the Penguin was vulnerable, dived in, piercing through the Primordial’s head, chest, back, and flippers.

"Aaaaaah!" Pain unlike he had ever experienced, the Primordial Penguin felt the Slavery Essence forcefully entering his body, ravaging his veins, and invading his power pool.

Just then, the giant Primordial Penguin began to transform.

His Penguin head began to shake and break, blood leaking out from all the newly formed cracks and all his orifices.

His beak bent back and his thin hair-like feathers started falling off.

Eventually, the head of the penguin was gone and replaced with a human-like head.

The giant penguin spasmed uncontrollably, watching in agony as his body changed for the worse and his powers became corrupted.

His body started losing all its feathers and was replaced with a disgusting layer of grey skin.

His powers and original power level remained, and even his consciousness remained. But his body no longer listened to him.

His will had become subjective and Gabriel’s will had become his body’s highest priority.

"This is how it is meant to be," Gabriel said as he flew toward the new giant penguin.

His tendrils came out of the penguin’s body, emitting disgusting squelching sounds as sticky liquids spewed out of the holes.

"How can the world be saved if it won’t save itself?

How could they possibly understand the salvation I have in store for them?

No, the only way to save the universe is to enslave it. When my will permeates through all laws of the universe, it will be saved.

Only then, can we know peace.

Yes.

The lions may have cast me out. But that is the best. They have made me realise that my purpose is not just restricted to the lions, but to everything single thing in existence.

I am the Messiah.

I am the saviour.

I am the chosen one.

You cannot see it now, but you will see it one day, all of you will.

You will thank me.

You will adore me.

And you will praise me.

For now, I refuse to take your praises, my work is only beginning."

Gabriel, seemingly getting more insane by the second, talked to the human-headed penguin.

All this while, the main will of the penguin Primordial was trapped within his head and couldn’t do anything other than watch with horror as Gabriel gave the first order.

"Follow me, let us free your race from their pitiful thoughts..."
