Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World
Chapter 847: The Lions Are An Obstacle.
On the sixth day of the week.
"FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUUUUUCK!" The Luthor Patriarch cursed repeatedly as he flew through the void of the mortalverse.
This was not how he had planned his re-entry into the mortalverse to be.
The Luthor Patriarch did not fly alone though, beside him were three other Supreme Level Immortals from the Cat Race, each a leader of their own Houses.
Zayna, the black-skinned Egyptian Cat, was flying next to the Luthor Patriarch in her humanoid form. Her injuries were already healed and her eyes shone with a frightening yellow light.
The Supreme Immortals of the cats were not the only ones flying here. Actually, almost all the supreme leaders of the other felines were here as well.
The Jaguar Supreme Leader, who had been headlocked and face smashed into the ground by Azeus, the Supreme Cheetahs who still felt a little bit of aches from the beatings they received.
The one that stood out the most was the red-haired tall and dominating woman who was a supreme leader of the tiger race in Original Heaven.
Currently, this red-haired scruffy woman had an annoyed look on their face.
"He really killed the Primordial Cheetah," She said, growling slightly and exposing the corners of her fangs.
"You heard it yourself," The Luthor Patriarch said, also snarling.
"Imatii, calm down, your anger isn’t going to do anything at this point," One of the Supreme Cheetahs said as he rolled his eyes.
In their opinion, they were the ones to be very mad right now. Not only had they received special treatment from Azeus, but they had also failed to save their Primordial Cheetah on time.
Only the Jaguar Primordial and the Primordial Leopard, which were born not long ago were around now. Besides the lions, cats, Jaguars, and Leopards, no other feline race had their Primordials.
At least, some of the rest were in the same boat as their Primordials were not yet born. It wasn’t like the Panthers, Tigers, or Cheetahs whose Primordials were all brutally killed for nothing.
"If someone hadn’t been so worked up and sent them to do assassination assignments, perhaps, they’ll still be alive right now," Said one of the Supreme Leaders of the Panthers.
"What did you say?" The Luthor Patriarch narrowed his eyes and looked back, "He killed my son!"
"Your son’s life was worthless compared to those Primordials!" Imitii, the red-haired tiger woman barked at the Luthor Patriarch.
The Luthor Patriarch narrowed his eyes. It had come to his attention that some of them were deeply dissatisfied with all that had happened and because he was mainly the one chairing most of her plans, all responsibility and accountability fell to him.
The original plan was to suppress the lions, kill the Primordial Lion, install the avatar of slavery, and use them as useful agents in their rise to godhood.
It also acted as a double insurance because the lions were almost certainly going to be an obstacle with how they were.
It was better to nip them in the bud early.
Yet, here they were, arguing over who deserved the most losses.
"You all should just shut up!" Zayna exclaimed, squeezing her fist and being incredibly annoyed.
Normally, because of the relationship between her and the Luthor Patriarch, she seldom talked to him using a commanding tone, but now, she couldn’t care less.
She too was also a Supreme Level Immortal and the Matriarch of her own House. In terms of status, she was of equal standing to every one of them.
But in terms of combat...
When the matter of combat came to their minds, they couldn’t help but think back again to how Azeus had handled all of them.
Like a lightning god who was fighting them all simply for the love of the game. It was scary.
Azeus was supposed to be the same power level as them. Yet, he fought close to fifteen Supreme Level Immortals and did not lose.
Sure, he was at a disadvantage as more joined in, sure he was going to eventually lose because he did not have numbers on his side, but it didn’t change the fact that one lion of the same level had been able to do so much damage, and still escape.
This was what everyone in Original Heaven had been afraid of. Lions on their own were already so scary, what would happen if they were allowed to reunite with their kind in Leonine Heaven and make use of all the resources at their disposal?
In terms of natural combat ability, the lions were actually not up to the tigers. Strength and speed-wise, they were almost similar, but naturally, the tigers were better fighters.
And truly, the person who gave Azeus the most trouble was Imitii.
However, the lions had a whole lot going for them besides combat ability. Their Conqueror’s Intent, their dominating will, the wide range of broken abilities that the lion system gave to them.
Dominant Roar when used by Azeus was very effective, not to mention the other support-based abilities they had stacked away.
The sheer intoxication from the Lionhood Bar was enough to make them so ferocious and vicious that it was scary.
It was no wonder he was able to fight all of them and still escape.
But all that was in the past. The new developments showed that the lions had not hesitated to begin an invasion of Hive Heaven.
At least, the Bees could take the brunt and wrath of the lions right now while the others found time to prepare.
What they should all be planning now is how to make sure their plans succeed.
"We are not out of the game yet," The Luthor Patriarch said as they all approached a distant fleet of arkships and arkworlds.
"What is it?" The Supreme Jaguar asked.
The Luthor Patriarch smiled, "Our dear friend, Gabriel, has been working on himself recently.
I guess they weren’t able to kill him after all."
"Gabriel is still alive?" Zayna asked.
"Yes, apparently, Jordan has other things to do. Or maybe they just couldn’t afford a prolonged fight, so they cast him away.
Either way, Gabriel is sure to clash with the Lions of Conquest once again. We must make sure this time, he succeeds.
Our path to godhood is within reach, cousins, let us stay focused!"
