Your Beloved Sweetheart Is Online-Chapter 1772 - 1775: Yearning Across Two Places (4)
Thinking this way, even the flu is filled with happiness.
Ling Yin doesn’t know, a greater happiness awaits when he wakes up.
When the one you’ve been thinking about is in the kitchen cooking a warm bowl of white porridge for you in an apron, is this a sign that you’re still dreaming?
Ling Yin, wrapped in white pajamas, rubs his sleepy eyes twice, trying hard to discern if the person in front of him is not an illusion.
Hua Hua hums a tune, tastes the porridge with a spoon, adds two spoonfuls of sugar, the taste is just right, truly delicious.
Turning around, he finds Ling Yin standing there foolishly.
Hua Hua grins mischievously and says in a playful voice, "Master, you’re awake?"
Ling Yin is stunned, strides over, "How are you here?"
Before he could finish, Hua Hua hugs him, his lips touching his forehead, "Guess?"
"Surely I’m dreaming." Ling Yin closes his eyes, talking to himself.
Hua Hua hits his head hard.
Ling Yin frowns instantly.
Hua Hua laughs like a blooming flower, "Does it hurt?"
"No, it doesn’t."
Hua Hua: "..."
Ling Yin’s heart floats instantly.
Hua Hua hums, "I flew here last night, arrived at your house half an hour ago, climbed through the window to get in. You really lack vigilance; if it weren’t me but a thief climbing in, all the things in your house would have been stolen."
"There’s guard at the door." Ling Yin explains no further, sure that the guard realized it’s Hua Hua, thus didn’t intervene.
Hua Hua boasts immediately, "Turns out my training at that ghost camp wasn’t in vain, the guard didn’t even notice me!"
Suddenly bouncing around in confidence.
Hua Hua’s slender fingers tug at Ling Yin’s hair, "You go to the dining room, I’ll bring the porridge up for you to drink."
"I’ll do it." Ling Yin rolls up his sleeves.
"Patients aren’t allowed in the kitchen, lest you spread the illness to me!" Hua Hua’s reasoning is simply too strong.
Ling Yin, feeling cherished, releases the hand around his waist, really afraid of infecting him, as the flu is severe lately, "Then I’ll graciously accept."
"Go on, go on!"
Hua Hua bites a cucumber, crunching loudly.
...
In the dining room, Old Wang sells melons, boasting about his own goods, "Drink up, a warm drink will help you recover faster!"
"Actually, it’s not a big deal." Ling Yin fishes out the remote, turns the TV to the finance channel, volume down, just enough to hear.
Hua Hua puts warmed milk in front of him, "Why not skip work today? Rest well at home."
"I have a meeting this morning that I can’t miss." As soon as Ling Yin says this, Hua Hua’s face changes, "Is that how Charm World treats their bosses? Can’t even call in sick?"
Ling Yin smiles with warmth that touches his heart and stomach, grabs Hua Hua’s hand tightly, his smile bending his lips, "Hua Hua, I’m really happy."
"And you’re happy while sick? You don’t feel uncomfortable?" He feels particularly uncomfortable when he has a cold, at such times he’d surely cling to his brother at the Gu Family, insisting on eating the porridge his brother cooks before he can rest.
Always feels like only porridge can cure a sickness!
Hence, he hurried over to cook porridge, knowing for sure no one else would for Ling Yin.
"If being sick means receiving this kind of treatment, it’s worth being sick every day."
"Touched, aren’t you? Am I great?" Hua Hua pouts, pulls back his hand, though his face can’t hide the slight blush, to cover it up, he bellows, "Why are you staring at me! Hurry up and drink, I personally cooked the porridge, dare you waste it!"
