She didn’t deny the idiot part though since she had suffered quite a bit trying to get through to him.

Gao Fu Shuai’s mother nodded and patted her on the shoulder before saying, "As long as you don’t give up, I’m sure that you’ll get through to him." This was partly her selfishness as a mother since she really liked Jiang Yu Ning and wanted her as a daughter in law.

After thinking for a bit, Gao Fu Shuai’s mother changed the topic by saying, "How good are you at cooking?"

Jiang Yu Ning was surprised to hear this, but she answered, "I’ve done a bit of cooking for my siblings, but it’s not anything fancy."

Gao Fu Shuai’s mother nodded in response before saying, "That’s fine, as long as you can cook. Gao Fu Shuai’s mother quickly went forward to stop her from bowing her head before saying, "There’s no need for you to do that, we’re family."

Jiang Yu Ning slowly looked up at Gao Fu Shuai’s mother with a touched look on her face before giving a firm nod.

The two of them looked at each other with smiles on their faces before they went over to the stove and Gao Fu Shuai’s mother started explaining things.

As she explained things, Jiang Yu Ning looked like she was very focused on what she was saying.

It seemed that Jiang Yu Ning had been completely accepted by this mother in law of hers as she was even teaching her how to cook.
