Warm Married Life: Mr. President Loves His Darling Wife-Chapter 249 - 248: Women in Love Are Different
"Alright, just let me know once you’ve arranged it."
Sharon nodded and agreed, and without waiting for Director Ford to say anything, she quickly left.
However, Director Ford was grinning foolishly and couldn’t manage to say anything.
Sharon hurried away, and only after walking a great distance did she raise her hand to press on her pounding heart.
To actually feel shy like a little girl, what was happening?
Sharon frowned and stood still, and only after her heartbeat calmed down did she head toward the makeup room.
Right now, it was Archer Quinn and Vivian Norris’s scene, so she could take a break and go to the makeup room to find Bella.
Bella was sitting and letting the makeup artist put on her makeup; she looked much better than before.
"Bella seems to be in a pretty good mood," the makeup artist said while applying foundation. "Even your complexion has improved a lot."
"Can you tell?" Bella blinked playfully.
"It’s almost as if ’I have good news’ is written all over your face." The makeup artist, already familiar with Bella, could joke around with her when they were together.
"Is it that obvious?" Now Bella felt a bit embarrassed, and her cheeks flushed slightly.
The misunderstanding between her and Damian had been resolved, and their relationship had taken a step closer than before. Naturally, she felt much more cheerful than when they were having a breakup. And this change in mood could be seen in her eyes.
Just like when Bella returned to the set after taking a leave, her big, round eyes seemed to be sparkling, and anyone could tell she was in a good mood.
"What good thing happened?" The makeup artist asked half-jokingly, "Fell in love?"
"Hehe..." Bella laughed shyly. Before she could answer, Sharon had already walked in.
"Bella, when did you get back?" Sharon walked in and asked.
"Ms. Cheney, did you finish filming your scene?" Bella greeted her immediately and didn’t get a chance to answer the makeup artist’s question.
"Yes." Sharon sat down in a chair next to her and asked with concern, "So, did everything get sorted out smoothly?"
"Yes, everything’s sorted out." Bella nodded, "Ms. Cheney, you were so worried about me. I actually wanted to call you last night, but I didn’t have my phone with me."
"That doesn’t matter as long as your problem is resolved." Sharon was relieved, her lips curling into a slight smile, "Judging by your appearance, everything’s perfectly fine now, right?"
"Yes, yes, everything’s been talked through."
"That’s great," Sharon said. "By the way, Archer was also very worried about you. He came to find me last night, asking why you weren’t answering the phone."
"What? Senior Quinn called me too?"
"Yes, he did. You not answering made me think you were kidnapped," Archer Quinn said with a smile as he walked into the makeup room.
"Senior Quinn, I’m sorry, I forgot to bring my phone with me," Bella stuck out her tongue adorably and said, "But don’t worry, with me being penniless besides my life, no kidnapper would bother. Even if they kidnapped me, it wouldn’t cover the round-trip cost for them."
"Who says that?" Archer Quinn laughed, "Our Bella is now quite a budding star, your worth only goes up, doesn’t go down."
"Senior Quinn, what budding star? Don’t tease me," Bella waved her hand dismissively. She was just a minor figure with no work released yet, far from being a star.
