The long dress in black and red with various lace trims actually looked quite nice, but it really had too much of an anime style. Bella felt very self-conscious, pulling at it awkwardly after putting it on.

"Bella, have you finished changing?" Elaine began urging her from outside the changing room.

"Oh, I... I’m done." Bella hesitated for a moment, then finally hugged her own clothes and opened the changing room door to walk out.

Sharon Cheney and Elaine Vaughn were waiting outside, and when they saw her emerge, they were momentarily stunned.

Bella felt even more awkward, her face flushing as she glanced at their expressions, "Is... is it weird?"

"No! Not weird at all!" Elaine was the first to react, her eyes lighting up as she stepped forward to take the jacket from Bella’s arms. She then examined Bella up and down before continuing, "Bella, your figure and looks are perfect for a lolita dress. You look just like a cute lolita straight out of a manga!"

"Ah? Ms. Flynn, is that... really true?" Bella tugged at the hem of her dress with a flushed face, "But... but I feel so strange."

"That’s because it’s your first time wearing something like this; it’s normal to feel uncomfortable. Once you’ve worn it more, you’ll get used to it naturally." Elaine turned around to put Bella’s jacket into a storage locker and said, "Bella, come over here and put on this wig."

"Ah? I have to wear a wig too?" Bella was dazed as Ms. Flynn pulled her to the vanity, and before she knew it, the wig was already on her head.

Elaine took out her cosmetics and quickly worked on Bella’s face, only nodding in satisfaction at the end, "Not bad, not bad, Bella. You might just win the queen’s crown tonight."

"Wh... what crown?" Bella felt like she was in a complete daze, unable to keep up with Ms. Flynn’s pace.

"You’ll find out soon enough." Elaine nudged Sharon, who was next to her, "Sharon, doesn’t Bella look especially good like this?"

Sharon nodded with a smile, "She really does look great."

"Let’s go, let’s go, the event is about to start. We have to hurry over." Elaine handed them masks, "Both of you, put on your masks and don’t take them off, okay?"

"Why can’t we take them off?" Sharon asked, puzzled.

Elaine smiled, leaning over to whisper in her ear, "Unless you fancy someone here, and then you can take off the mask to show him your face." 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

"You naughty one!" Sharon was speechless.

Bella hadn’t heard what Ms. Flynn said and looked at the two of them with curiosity.

Elaine laughed out loud, "Oh, don’t worry about it, let’s go!" With that, she pulled both of them out of the backstage and into the main hall.

From the outside, the shop didn’t look particularly large, but once inside, it was a whole different world.

The hall was not only spacious and luxurious in its decor but also featured a spiral staircase leading to a second floor. Judging by the crowd up there, there seemed to be quite a number of people.

It was Bella’s first time in such a place, and she couldn’t help but look around curiously. Seeing others dressed in outfits from anime, she didn’t feel as strange about her own dress anymore.

"Ms. Flynn, when does the event you mentioned start?" Bella asked quietly after surveying the surroundings.

Elaine winked at her, "You’ll find out soon enough."

Before Elaine had finished speaking, a spotlight suddenly shone towards the second floor, and a man in a medieval English butler’s tailcoat walked out holding a microphone.
