Villain's Valor: A Noble Fantasy Resurrection-Chapter 298: Queen
"I don’t think it’s a good idea, seriously, how can they be so cruel?"
Estefany clasped her hands nervously, looking around. There was a bit of fear in her eyes, her voice trembling slightly; she was extremely nervous.
"He went too far."
She murmured to herself with a sad face and teary eyes. She was tied to a tree and couldn’t move her body, only her head. She knew nothing about this; it caught her off guard, and they tied her mercilessly to a tree. This was all Anthony’s doing; he was the mastermind behind it all...
She regretted a little agreeing to form a group with them. Even Angela didn’t help and only gave a kind smile, which was a low blow for her. Additionally, her best friend Persephone just shrugged, leaving her alone in this battle. Pursing her lips, she looked at the silent place; it had been an hour since they tied her up there.
Staring at the ground, suddenly, a figure appeared.
"How strange," someone murmured suspiciously, with their hand on their chin, thinking for a few seconds. "You’re supposed to be the perfect bait to attract animals. Are you defective?" they asked incredulously.
"Let me down! Let me down! You heartless fiend!" Estefany tried to move her body to break free. She felt deeply offended by his words, which hurt her little heart. She couldn’t believe Anthony’s words; in addition to tying her to this tree, he was criticizing her. Defective? What does that even mean...
"I think we chose the wrong spot. After all, there’s no animal here; I haven’t even seen one that catches my attention."
Another female voice joined Anthony’s monologue.
"Let me down! Let me down!"
"I was thinking the same, but still, it’s a bit strange, or maybe we just have really bad luck," Anthony approached Charlotte.
"What a waste of time," Angela joined the conversation again, walking delicately and tilting her head slightly with sadness.
Estefany widened her eyes; she couldn’t believe it. No one was paying attention to her; even worse, they were ignoring her indifferently: "I thought we were friends!" she exclaimed angrily.
"How about we move to another place?" Matías suggested, looking further south.
"I think that’s a good idea," Persephone agreed.
"Then let’s go," Anthony nodded, approaching Estefany with a smile and quickly untying her.
Estefany stretched and adjusted her body, looking around. Silently, she tried to run: "Without a doubt, they’ll do the same to me; I need to escape."
"Where do you think you’re going?"
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
---
"It’s a very strange fish."
"You’re right; I’ve never seen anything like it."
"It even has limbs to walk on land."
"It’s a bit creepy."
"I’m seriously thinking it’s a corrupted creature."
"No, it’s just an abnormal fish."
"It’s eating meat."
"I think we should kill it and see what’s inside." Enjoy new chapters from novelbuddy
A group of women was crouched, watching an animal or rather a fish attentively. It was almost 1 meter tall and had come out of the water a few moments ago. They all hid and were watching it closely.
"Look, there’s another one over there."
All the eyes of Alice, Emily, Eleanor, Adelaide, Daniela, and Victoria turned to see.
On top of a tree, there was a red snake eyeing the fish that walked on land. Coiled around a hideous tree, it lowered its head silently.
In seconds, the snake had wrapped itself around the fish on the ground. The poor fish thrashed violently, but it was all in vain. The sound of breaking bones emanated from it, and the snake hissed and began to devour it slowly.

"It looks a lot like the monkey the professor was petting a few days ago," Charlotte said with satisfaction.
"This one only has four arms, but it’s true that it’s much bigger and more intimidating than the previous one."
"Finally, we can see one of the animals from this area."
Three days had passed without finding anything. During all this time, Estefany had been tied to a tree. After a few times, she had stopped resisting, even cooperating to make it faster, but always with a vacant look, as if she had resigned herself to her fate...
The gorilla stood still, facing the tree with a strange expression. It sat on the ground and scratched its head, seemingly unsure of what to do.
Estefany looked at the animal curiously.
"What should we do?" Matías was also confused. This situation was too strange. He thought the animal would attack Estefany at first sight, but it was the opposite. The gorilla timidly approached and stayed there quietly; it even seemed like they were having a peaceful conversation.
Anthony frowned, also unsure. This was an unexpected situation.
"Let’s watch a bit longer," he said.
Time passed, and those two continued having a conversation. They didn’t seem to get bored. After a while, the gorilla moved its enormous body and ran into the forest. It was extremely fast for its size.
Approaching, I asked, "What were you talking about?" I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t dying of curiosity. You can’t talk to an animal if it doesn’t want to; as far as I understand, it’s like hearing a voice in your mind. I wanted to try it too, but I’ve had bad luck...
Estefany looked at me and turned her head with a pout on her cheeks.
"Apologize," she said resentfully...
Here we go. She’s behaving like a little girl. Though I think tying her to a tree was too much, there were many other options available, but I only thought of that at the moment... hahaha, it’s a bit funny. I think I should apologize this time.

"Alright, forgive me," I said "sincerely."
Estefany looked at me in surprise and smiled: "Okay, I forgive you!"
That was too easy. How easy it is to fool this girl... she forgave me, so it’s fine.
I pursed my lips in pain.
A sharp pain in my hand, looking at Charlotte, she gave me a critical look.
She noticed. Well, what can I do? She knows me too well. Wait, even Angela is smiling at me; she noticed too. What a terrifying woman. Ignoring these two women, I directed my gaze to Estefany.
First, I untied her from the tree, and she stretched: "He told me the forest is celebrating..."
"Celebrating?"
"Yes, he said the queen had arrived. Because of this, the most powerful animals had to move to the most powerful area," "According to what he told me, he was on his way there."
True, the gorilla was very powerful. But "queen"?
Who was she? I don’t know. For a moment, I thought it was Catalina, but that’s impossible. She is already in the most powerful area; we are still in the middle zone. To reach that area, it would take us another week...
