Even though she had meant to get his attention, he’d arrived way too quickly for it to be because of her fight. She figured the constellations must’ve noticed something strange about the stream and likely contacted him.

Judging by his uniform, he seemed to have rushed out during a treaty signing with a foreign country.

Even with all her complaining, Evangeline ultimately had no choice but to admit that her father was the most dependable person in the world.
