Villain's Valor: A Noble Fantasy Resurrection-Chapter 235: Island
Anthony opened his eyes wide, surprised by the reverence of all the dukes towards the academy director. His mind raced, trying to understand why even the emperor and the two sacred ranks showed such respect. He squinted as he carefully observed the man in front of him, unable to identify who he really was.
After one last glance at the dukes, the man positioned himself in front of the podium, apparently without any notable presence or aura, as if he were simply absent.
The director’s black eyes scanned all the students, but they stopped especially at the dukes’ children and some others with promising talent. When those dark eyes landed on Anthony, a shiver ran down his spine. He felt as if the director could see through him, uncovering all his secrets with just a glance at his soul. Seconds stretched on, as if time had stopped, before the director averted his gaze.
After a brief silence, the director spoke: "Today, the tournament between the first three classes will be held." He paused, allowing his words to sink in before continuing with a stern warning: "Do not disappoint. If you lose, give it your all. No surrender will be accepted from any of you. It will be a fight to the death, or at least render your opponent unconscious or remove them from the combat."
He turned slightly and glanced at Crystal, who nervously nodded with a smile. The director continued indifferently: "With Miss Crystal’s help, there will be no risk of a student dying directly. After all, it’s just a small game."
Some students let out a cold sigh upon hearing the director’s words. The idea of death, even if it wasn’t real, always instilled fear. They remained silent, obediently listening as the director continued to speak, his eyes fixed on them at all times.
"The battles will be broadcast throughout the academy and the empire, under the watchful eyes of the citizens. Give them a good show," he concluded before retreating and taking his seat, closing his eyes in a sign of rest.

Professor Crystal quickly stood up, adjusting her glasses and moving to the front of the room. She bowed to the dukes and the director before adjusting her dress and taking out a crystal stone. Quickly, a screen projected from the stone, and Crystal cleared her throat before beginning to explain.
"The event will take place in an open space the size of a standard island. All 75 students will be sent to that place and can only carry a weapon of their choice. Everything else they must find on the island. There will be no creatures, just you against each other," continued Crystal, while moving the stone and showing the image of the island, which had a deformed crescent shape.
"The rules are quite simple. Each student who manages to eliminate another will get a point. The duration of the event is not defined; it will end when only one remains standing," she explained seriously, making clear the scope of the competition.
"In the island, there will be water and food, and activating your bloodlines is allowed. Everything is permitted. Over time, the island will slowly disintegrate, so its size will progressively decrease," Crystal concluded, making sure everyone understood the seriousness and ruthless nature of the event.
Crystal’s silver eyes scrutinized the serious expressions of the students, nodding to herself in approval. "All your moves will be monitored by the watchful eyes of the dukes and the people of the empire. I have nothing more to tell you, except to wish you luck," she said with a smile as she made her way back to her seat.
Athena also stood up, moving to the front with a smile on her face. "Remember, death is common among us, but do not hold back. Believe me when I say the rewards are worth it, especially for all of you," she added before sitting down again.
Crystal jumped up and snapped her fingers. Suddenly, everyone in the room disappeared. The dukes and the director emerged in another room, while the students appeared lying on capsules. Anthony gripped his sword tightly, feeling a sigh of relief upon hearing he could take it with him. "At least when I activate my bloodline, I won’t go completely crazy," he thought to himself.
He watched as a multicolored cloud expanded from the capsule, and his mind sank into unconsciousness as he prepared for the event that awaited him.

The eyes of the people from the empire and the students from all over the academy gleamed as screens emerged in the sky, illuminating the atmosphere with captivating light. Some let out excited cheers and raised their hands in celebration. Among them, Ema’s eyes also shone intensely as she clenched her small fists tightly, showing her slight concern for her older brother.
"Don’t be so anxious, Ema," a warm voice resonated beside her. It was Elsa, who stood next to her. Elsa shared the concern for her older sister, but she also felt a mixture of excitement and anticipation. Her blue eyes were fixed on the screen, reflecting a spark of contained excitement as they awaited the start of the event.
Lysandra sat with elegance, her eyes also gleaming, her red eyes only staring at her husband’s screen with a lovely smile.
"Do you think he’ll be okay?" Estefany asked anxiously, her pink eyes fixed on Anthony. Persephone responded confidently, "Yes, after all, he’s one of the strongest of our generation," she said with a confident smile. Estefany nodded slowly, acknowledging the truth in her friend’s words. She looked back at the screen, clenching her fists with excitement.
Meanwhile, Anthony opened his eyes and quickly got moving. He knew he had to find a relatively hidden place to plan his strategy. He looked around: a tropical forest stretched out around him, immersed in complete silence where not even the whisper of the wind through the trees could be heard. He paused for a moment to look at the ring on his finger, where his sword lay, and sighed.
His eyes gleamed with determination.
