Villain's Valor: A Noble Fantasy Resurrection-Chapter 236: Very fast
Anthony observed his surroundings and found a suitable cave. He nodded satisfactorily, feeling no need to rush to seek out other students. While the professor had mentioned that each eliminated student would earn a point, those points actually translated into academic merits. Anthony leaned indifferently against the cave wall and closed his eyes.
He knew the only real problem would be unexpectedly falling into an abyss, but he trusted the map every student carried in their rings.
Having checked his own map earlier, Anthony realized he was almost in the center of the island, which could be considered lucky. Furthermore, he felt no need to draw attention to himself. After all, the true center of attention would be the event’s winner. Thus, he considered it a waste of effort and energy to eliminate other students just for fame.

Instead, he decided to patiently wait for the space on the island to shrink, which would also mean a decrease in the number of students. Additionally, he wasn’t worried about water and food, as a small river flowed near the cave, and where there’s water, there’s also animal life. With this strategy in mind, Anthony prepared to wait for the opportune moment to act.

Noah’s red eyes gleamed as he saw his son, who, within minutes of arriving in the dimensional space, simply sought out a safe place and closed his eyes. He frowned; it wasn’t the attitude he expected, but at the same time, he understood his intentions. Anthony had decided to wait until the end, a strategy not lacking in its own cunning.
A mischievous laugh echoed beside him, and Noah glanced at his wife. She seemed to be thoroughly enjoying observing their son’s strategy. Her gray eyes shifted to other screens, where some students were already engaged in fierce battles. Her eyes sought out her daughter, seeing her calmly walking through the tree-filled field. Ema nodded satisfactorily, anticipating a great show ahead.
The eyes of all the dukes were fixed on their respective sons and daughters. They all shared great anticipation and fervently wished for victory for their offspring. Though the idea of watching other students potentially harm their children was unpleasant to their hearts, they consoled themselves with the fact that it was all part of a game, and none of them made any comments about it.
After all, the game was just beginning.
Meanwhile, Arturo’s dark eyes were fixed on all those students. They were, so to speak, the vanguard of the next generation. Arturo knew it was always crucial to pay attention to young blood, as the future depended on them.

Alicia frowned as she watched the pitched battle unfolding before her. She remained hidden in silence, aware that recklessly throwing herself into a melee was not a good idea. Instead, she preferred to observe and analyze. She studied the skills of her students, as well as the spells cast by the mages.
She knew that having information about your enemies could become a deadly weapon that you could use against them.
Her eyes landed on a boy from the Pegasus class who tightly gripped his axe and ran wildly as his body was covered in his aura. On the other hand, a girl from the Star class narrowed her eyes, and a short sword appeared in her hands. Without hesitation, she lunged toward the boy from the Pegasus class, and they exchanged blows for a few moments.
Eventually, it became evident that the girl was gaining supremacy in the combat.
However, everything suddenly changed when a huge fireball unexpectedly attacked them. Both received the fire hit head-on, and their expressions turned pale as they tried to escape, but it was too late. A massive explosion accompanied by a crater echoed in the place, and within seconds, the agonizing screams of the students turned into a sorrowful symphony.
Their lifeless bodies fell to the ground, victims of the violent explosion.
At the same time, another explosion resonated in the place, followed by the figure of a girl who was sent flying from somewhere among the trees. Behind her, a boy looked at her with cold eyes; he was another mage. The girl struggled to regain her composure and stood up, but both, being mages, continued their long-distance confrontation.
The boy seemed to have an affinity with lightning and was in perfect condition as he unleashed his deadly bolts with indifference. The girl pursed her lips with determination, although blood was flowing from them due to her wounds. A fleeting thought crossed her mind as she realized she would die in the same way she had just killed the students moments ago.
A yellow light pierced her forehead as her body fell to the ground, victim of the boy’s powerful attacks. The battle had claimed another life, plunging the atmosphere into a tense silence. Alicia opened her eyes and realized that in a matter of minutes, three students had fallen dead. It was a terrifying speed; perhaps the event wouldn’t last as long as she had thought.
Just as Alicia was about to make her next move, the mage boy in the middle of the field saw with wide eyes as his head fell to the ground while he looked incredulously at his own body. Alicia’s gaze settled on the green-haired boy who had just killed the Star class mage.
Nicholas’s green eyes glanced indifferently at the boy’s body, and upon noticing that his dagger was stained with blood, he grimaced. He bent down and wiped the blood with the fallen mage’s cloak. After a few seconds, he nodded satisfactorily.
His green eyes scanned the other scattered bodies on the ground, and a small smile formed on his face. When he looked up, his green eyes met Alicia’s gray ones directly.
Alicia cursed inwardly. Even though she tried to conceal her presence, she couldn’t fool the senses of an assassin who had been raised since childhood. She was about to draw her sword, but Nicholas frowned and shook his head. "Too much effort," he thought to himself as he ran in another direction. Alicia rolled her eyes, remembering Nicholas’s personality; he definitely wouldn’t fight her.
He was too lazy for that.
