Villain's transmigration: Breaking every heroine into a Yandere-Chapter 89: Arcania Academy (3)
The area they were in was like a station, with the portal stationed at its centre. There were also a few tall buildings nearby, where the people from the academy lived.
Some of the workers were helping in starting the portal, and among them, two people, both of them middle-aged, were closely watching the new students for the academy. The academy not only had instructors, but there were also more people in there than just them. Some were in the academy to protect it from any threat from the outside world, more like protectors.
There were two among them.
"I was hoping for a show this time." One of them sighed, a bit disappointed.
He was a middle-aged man with half of his head void of hair. Standing beside his tall friend, he was venting out his disappointment.
To be honest, the only reason he even came out today was to see the chaos that usually unfolds at this time.
Listening to his mate, the other guy spoke, "Cut it out, Joel. He is the prince of this kingdom. No one will dare stop him."
He was stating the obvious. Still, Joel couldn’t help but sigh more.
"I heard there are two Duke families involved, too. At least they should do something right?"
"Is there anything else your mind focuses on rather than seeing two people fight? If you are that eager to see the battle, then wait for a while. Not only the prince, but the eldest princess is also inside the academy. You know what I mean, right?"
"Of course. That’s the only reason why I am not freaking out right now."
Joel gave out a disgusting smile, not suiting his age and his wrinkled face.
’What am I gonna do with this guy?’
Morek shook his head. It was his bad luck that he was paired up with this famous lunatic.
’But it’s really sad, though, that no one is stepping forward.’
However, he was also disappointed that nothing was happening.
Chaos at this time wasn’t a bad sign. In fact, it showed the potential of this batch and also the future of this nation.
Which right now seemed bleak.
He stared at Lucian who was moving towards the portal without looking anywhere else.
Then suddenly, another figure moved towards the portal surprising everyone else.
One minute before, in the area below.
"Do you think I care about my pride?" Noah asked, his gaze fixed on Lucian.
All 3 woman beside him looked at him and the direction his gaze was focused.
Maybe not everyone, but these three knew what he had said on the duel that day.
Noelle faced it directly, Rose saw from the sideline, and Milim knew it through her sources.
Milim curved her lips when he saw his gaze. Before she heard about the duel he had with Noelle, she never had any opinion of him.
For her, he was only a spoiled rich noble child who would be nothing without the family name behind him.
He was trash, who shouldn’t even be near her.
Someone like her, who was gifted in every aspect, be it looks, wealth, potential and luck, she was way above someone like him.
Until a week ago, she never cared about him at all.
She despised him. The reason the system mentioned the heroines and the hero, or anyone related to the main character, will hate him wasn’t only because of the villain’s halo he has. It was because of his past actions too.
Villain’s halo was what made him like that, someone hated by all.
Milim was also one of them, who had her favourability of Noah in negative.
However, it changed a little after he transmigrated.
’Someone who stayed like a trash for 3 years, will he care about his pride?’
She asked herself the same question he did. And she already had the answer in her mind.
No way he will let it slide.
Not after what he said in the duel.
This was the only reason why she even came to his side, to know what kind of person he was.
No one even knew about his strength before, not even her and suddenly he comes and defeats his genius sister.
Even Milim wouldn’t say she can beat Noelle for certain, the win can lean to any side.
"You don’t?" Milim asked back a question instead, giving her answer with that.
She believes he cares about his pride.
"I do," Noah responded calmly and stepped forward.
It was pretty clear what he was about to do. He was going to do this from the start anyway.
Not just now, he had planned for this from the moment he decided to enter the academy.
He will show the gap between him and everyone else.
Naturally, his action was enough to attract attention from everyone else who was patiently waiting for their turn. 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚
It only mattered who would go in first, not the ones after that, so they were waiting for Lucian to go and then enter.
However, there was a slight change in plan.
"Noelle dear, what was the gap you had with your brother? I heard he even shattered your sword." Milim asked, her bright eyes glued to the broad back of the man who walked as if he owned the place.
"I... don’t know. I couldn’t even touch him."
Before Noelle did questioned if she could have won had she gone all out from the start, but her thoughts were shattered the very next day when Noah showed her even more terrifying strength.
It was only idiotic of her to even think she could win against Noah.
"So he is even stronger than I had thought?" Milim whispered between her breaths.
As much as she wanted to join in the fun, she decided to enjoy the show that was about to unfold.
Noelle, on the other hand, was blinded by love. Her eyes sparkling seeing her brother trying to go against Lucian.
She wasn’t the least bit worried for him.
However, Rose wasn’t the same though. Unlike both of them, she has other things to be worried about.
She did not doubt Noah’s strength, either, but she was worried about herself right now. It had been more than a day since she had been able to relieve herself.
While everyone has their own perspective on the present scenario, Noah had one too.
’Calm down, don’t break the flow.’
Obviously, he wasn’t experienced in this sort of stuff. This was the first time for him, so he was a bit nervous. A completely normal scenario.
However, he did not let it show on his face.
"How long will it take?"
As Noah got close, he heard Lucian asking the man beside the portal.
"You haven’t been here for even a minute and you are already this impatient?" Noah asked, his voice playful.
He did not wish to act cold from the start, he would rather start slow.
Rashness isn’t what defines confidence, calmness does.
Lucian turned around to see who was so daring enough to ask him such a thing, but the moment he did, his face contorted into a disgusted expression.
"Noah?"
’So that is it, huh? The perk of being a villain. Strange, I did not feel it from Milim.’
An immediate hatred towards him, he could feel it instantly.
Still, he decided to play it cool. He wasn’t going to seduce him so no need for his love, though he doesn’t mind his sister.
"Oh... I am honoured, the prince still remembers me." Noah laughed with a smirk on his face.
Lucian did not break the look of disgust on his face.
"How could I not? No one doesn’t know you."
"Is that so?" He looked around, towards every other noble and commoner in the vicinity, asking if that was correct.
The way they all stared at him, the answer couldn’t be any clearer.
"Guess I am just that popular then. Though, I wonder, why are you being so impatient? Do you think just because you are the prince, you can go in first?"
He boldly asked, his voice clear as day hitting everyone’s ears.
"What?"
Lucian frowned when he heard that as if it was obvious that he should be the one to go in first.
Immediately, the whispers began among the bystanders. Even Joel and Morek became interested in this.
’Fucking extras, they have nothing to do beside whispering the useless stuff.’
"Was I not clear? I am asking, what do you think gives you the right to get inside the portal first? Is it your status as the prince?"
Lucian’s face darkened when he heard that. Before he could have let it go, knowing the character of Noah, and for the sake of the duke family.
But now, he was questioning his authority as the prince of the kingdom.
"I hope you know what you are saying Noah. I am the prince of this kingdom. If you don’t apologise to me at once, then don’t think this will end well."
’Got you, brat.’
