The street of the Luminsarian was buzzing with many people who were preparing for the celebration.

Noraya was looking around as she was hiding in one of the bushes.

Good thing the hunting will happen in the forest where she is; this time she will take her time to explain to everyone that she didn’t do anything, but instead, she has been possessed by some demon.

She had been waiting for this day.

The day she would get everything back from Acantha and set the story right to where it should direct.

Noraya smiled at the thought.

She can’t wait to see her face when she takes everything from her.

She will put her where she belongs so that she wouldn’t even dare to ask to live anymore.

"When will the imperial family arrive here?"

I look at the two knights who seem to be roaming around and ask someone who looks like they are in a higher rank than them.

"The imperial family will be here later. I heard that the newly appointed Count Di Santris was very excited to see them."

The man said as he looked at his subordinates with seriousness on his face.

"I can’t wait to see the crown princess."

The other knight said, and Noraya could see that he was smiling.

"Why? Do you need something from Her Highness?"

The high-ranking knight asked as he frowned at the other knight.

"I just wanted to thank her personally for saving my sister that time in the market."

The other knight said as he looked at the other knight, who had been quiet all the time. Who seems to have gotten stuck on something in his own world.

"You remembered that day too, right?"

I didn’t want to wait for their answers, as I know they will just praise Acantha.

Those stupid lowly people!

Just who do they think they are?

If my memory of Noraya is right, they were all the very same people who used to praise her and are supposed to praise me this time.

These damned people were hypocrites; how dare they turn their back on me?

I used the satin that I took from someone this morning to cover my face.

I looked around when I heard the people seemed to be panicking over something, and that’s when I saw some carriages coming.

The crest of a dragon indicates that they are the Imperial family. I gripped my fist.

Everyone bows down when the carriage stops, and one by one the imperial family go out from their own carriages. I could feel my eyes burning when I saw how Helion assisted Acantha, which should be me.

I saw her looking around like she felt my presence.

Damn! The event still hasn’t started, and it seems like this woman’s going to ruin all of my plans.

I took a glance first before I turned around so that she wouldn’t see me easily.

We just arrived at the Di Santris territory, and there’s the eerie feeling that I always felt whenever Abanoon was around.

My hunch was really right; even though Madame Abellarde had talked to Paul and the latter still seemed to be hesitating on betraying his own master, he just gave them some clue.

"Is there something wrong?"

Helion asked as he looked at me when he guided me getting out from the carriage.

"I just felt something."

I said that because I didn’t want to keep anything from him and because finding that person was the true goal of the haunting.

"Is it her?"

He asked, and I nodded; he sighed, as we both expected it, but it was too good that she showed herself here faster than we expected.

It seems like she still didn’t know how to control Abanoon’s power, and I can feel that the divine power in her body was fighting the demonic power that she has, but since it was Abanoon.

The power I bestowed on the Klartis wasn’t enough for Noraya’s body to fight all of her demonic power, and Noraya was dead before she was even born, and that’s why Abanoon chose her body, thinking her divine power could heal her soul to reside in there, but things got complicated when she needed someone to be in that body, as she couldn’t enter it the first time she tried when Noraya was born.

The people bowed their heads as we walked, but I was still keeping on guard, as I didn’t know what would happen.

I look through the crowd of people to see if Noraya was there.

"We’re glad you came here safely, Your Majesties and Your Highnesses."

The newly appointed Count Di Santris said as he welcomed us.

The man looks a little bit younger than the previous count, and I can see that he was a good man.

The Count, who was accompanied by his family, guided us to a tent, as that haunt will be held in their forest, which is known to be a lair of monsters who keep on attacking the small village near the territory.

There are many knights who were already preparing for the hunt, but most of the nobles here didn’t even know the purpose of this hunting game.

"Flamear..."

I whispered as I was left alone inside the tent as Helion was with the emperor, and they are going to prepare to go on a hunt. Father was also with them.

"Master..."

Flamear greeted as he went out from where he was hiding. He has been with us the whole time, but he needed to hide, as people will be scared if they see him, not that he looks scary; on the contrary, Flamear looks really adorable.

"Try to check the forest; if my hunch was correct, Noraya will approach Helion, or if not, Abanoon will be awakened again and start making some mess."

I said as I looked at Flamear, who nodded before he vanished in thin air.

I sighed when I was left alone again. I am feeling anxious; we needed to find Noraya before her body absorbed Abanoon’s power and wielded it.

Her body might be weak, but the damage she can create will be big.

I didn’t want to get the people caught in turmoil again.

"Your Highness..."

I looked at the person who called me and saw it was an unfamiliar lady.

"Pardon me, Your Highness. I am Cataina Rigas."

She said in a small voice as she looks at me.

"Rigas?"

"Yes, I am the adopted daughter of Lord Hugo Rigas."

She answered as she looked at me.

I look at her as she is still bowing her head.

"I am sorry if I am intruding on you, Your Highness, but it wasn’t my intention to come here. It is my first time going in here, and the maid that I asked awhile ago led me here."

She said as she was explaining things that I didn’t even ask.

I just nodded at her, as I don’t want to be rude or anything, and besides, I was too preoccupied looking for Noraya.

I looked at her when I still saw that she was still standing in front of me and was staring at me.

"Do you still need something, Lady Rigas?"

I asked to get her attention as she was still staring intently; she startled when she finally came to her senses.

"I—"

She didn’t finished her words when the tent opened and Helion who was now wearing his hunting attire, went in.

"Did Mother leave you here all alone?" 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖

He asked as he caressed my hair, and it seemed like he didn’t even notice Lady Rigas, who was looking at him in awe.

"I insisted on being left here."

I said, which is true, as before the empress left me here, she told me to come with her.

"Your Highness..."

Lady Rigas said as she tried to get Helion’s attention when he turned around.

"And you are?"

Helion asked as he looked at Lady Rigas, and he seemed not to recognize who she was.

"She’s Lady Rigas."

I said as I looked at the woman, and it seems like I saw her glaring at me when I introduced her to Helion.

"Lady Rigas?"

Helion asked as he frowned at Lady Rigas, who blushed at Helion.

"Yes, Your Highness..."

She said shyly as she was still bowing her head at him.

"Is she your friend?"

Helion asked, and I raised my brows at him.

Is he really asking me that?

He looked at me with amusement in his eyes when he saw my reaction to what he said.

"Ahmm, we’ve met before when I was a kid..."

Lady Rigas said shyly as she looked at Helion, who frowned at what she said.

"Have we?"

Helion asked as he looked at the woman coldly, but it still didn’t stop her as she looked amazed when Helion asked her.

"Father used to bring me in the palace back then to meet the empress, and she was with Lady Noraya that time."

I looked at her when I saw how she put some emphasis on Noraya’s name, like she was angry or something.

"I see."

Helion said without any emotions as he turned his back at her to face me.

"I’ll be living now since the hunt will start any moment."

He said, "As if on cue, someone blows the horn, and it only means that the hunt will begin, and all participants shall now be in their posts."

Helion kissed my forehead before he exited the tent.

When I looked back at Lady Rigas, her face was so dark while she was looking at me.
