Yujun’s POV

I change my clothes in darker ones without thinking twice. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦

My body is moving on its own accord to Jaehyun’s command.

’I own you’ he said and it’s true. He does own me, even in the few days spent away from him my entire being knows that I belong to him.

"Yujun" my father’s voice echoes through the empty hall as I walk by as fast I can, "where are you going?" He asks me with a skeptical look.

"I have a meeting with a client" I lie and he tilts his head to scrutinize me. "You have a client I don’t know of?" He asks and I bow my head, "I’m sorry, it was not a properly planned meeting" I say.

My body is vibrating with fear, he terrifies me. My own father makes me shake in terror just from the words he speaks.

He sniffs and frowns at me, eyeing me once more from head to toe.

"That jasmine scent is disgusting and weak, you smell like an omega" father says and I feel my heart stop for a second.

I had stepped out without a scent patch, because I know Jaehyun would want to scent me...I know he likes how I smell. I didn’t know I would meet father on the way, father despises anything that feel omega-like on me.

"I...the new scent I saw..." I say and he frowns, "use a better one, this one is not alpha-like" he says and walks past me without saying anything else.

I release the breath I had been holding as I watch his back till he disappears down the long hallway.

Adjusting my hoodie, I continue walking until I get to the safe spot I take taxis from without my father’s goons monitoring me.

It is odd to me how quickly I have adapted to taking taxis for a man I should hate. I have adapted to so many new things in such a small amount of time, not bending too far yet bending enough for Hwang Jaehyun.

The ride is not too long and in no time I arrive at the park, the place is calmer and cool with only a small number of people around and I spot Jaehyun with ease.

He is looking right at me with a straight face as I pay the taxi driver and get out of the car.

Jaehyun is standing right there with his hands in his pocket and a black leather jacket that puts every other leather jacket wearer to shame.

Again, I see that Hwang Jaehyun is handsome. There is no man I have seen that is as handsome as he is, maybe its because I haven’t seen him in a while.

This Jaehyun is not my playful smirking Jaehyun, the silly puppy, no, this Jaehyun is Hwang Jaehyun the mafia heir.

"We have a business to attend to, I have a weapon for you, get in" he says and goes over to open the passenger seat of his car for me, this time he had brought a silver grey mustang.

I slide in and he shuts the door before going to the other side.

Jaehyun gets in and places a hand on the steering wheel, wordlessly and with his eyes on the road as he drives out of the park, he hands his phone over to me and I look at the video on the screen.

A group of armed men are in front of a building, a number of them seems to be drunk and one of them throws a stone at the glass window of the building.

"That is my omega settlement in Gangnam" he says and I look to his face, he looks calm but I can feel the anger radiating off him in quiet yet strong waves.

"Your...omega settlement?" I ask in confusion, what does he mean by that?.

"I have a place, I built it myself for omegas I rescue from factories or from abuse" he says and I look at his face, waiting for him to burst into laughter or say something funny.

A Hwang who rescues?

I look at him for a few seconds, trying to make sense of it...how?

Isn’t this the man who I have seen murder in cold blood with a smile on his face and madness in his eyes.

"You...rescue omegas?" I ask and he nods, "some men are trying to break in and there is a low number of men at the settlement" he says in that monotone manner, aloof and alert.

Not knowing what to say in response to him, I nod and look forward at the road.

Jaehyun drives with speed like a racer, one hand on the wheel and one hand on the gear shift. The air in the car is cold and the silence between is heavy but not awkward. Just...heavy.

We arrive at the building and he hands me a silver Glock 17.

"Stay safe" are his only words as we get out of the car and move into the building, gun in hand and ready for war with the invaders.

"Who is there?" One of the armed men says and Jaehyun points the gun at the man, with a flat tone he says, "people like you calls me the mad dog".

"It’s Hwang Jaehyun!" Someone behind the man screams to warn the others and while some turn to flee from the scene, Jaehyun opens fire and I follow suit.

Following him into battle like a loyal dog, I shoot down two men and dodge a bullet, keeping my eyes on Jaehyun as he takes down multiple men at a time- used to ending the lives of worthless men.

While shooting, I see of the men behind Jaehyun cocking his gun to shoot at him from the back, I rush over to push him down and Jaehyun turns in time to see me tumbling with the man.

"Get the hell away from him" Jaehyun roars angrily and moves with that inhumane speed I had seen that day at the party.

Jaehyun yanks the man off me and presses the gun to him, "please!" The man pleads and Jaehyun throws him to the floor with a growl before diverting his attention to me, he pulls me up to his body and hold me there, growling deep in his chest possessively.

"Run! Run! Everyone fall back!" Someone else shouts and they all retreat, running like headless chickens away from the scene while Jaehyun pauses with me still in his arms to watch them run.

My chest is heaving from the rush of the moment, the fight was not what I expected but being this close to Jaehyun is heavier than facing ten gun men.

He looks into my eyes and then drops his head to rest his nose in the crook of my neck, and I feel a shiver run through me involuntarily.

"I can smell you" he says softly and I feel myself melt into him.
