Vorden at this moment was scared out of his mind.
He was trying to explain the effectiveness of Math to the students when the game or system or whatever it is called, decided to help him.
I very familiar holographic screen, which Vorden had come to hate, appeared in front of him.
R𝑒ad latest chapt𝒆rs at freewebnovёl.ƈom Only.
For a brief moment, everything went dark.
When he regained consciousness, he was no longer in control of his body. Rather, he was no longer in his body. He was conscious, he could watch see and hear everything around him, but he couldn't speak or do anything.
He watched as the body he was in walked on his own, speak on it's own and act on its own without any knowledge of Vorden being present.
Thinking about it, it seemed like a intro you usually see at the beginning of a game.
All of a sudden, he heard a scream, and then that godforsaken screen appeared again, signalling the start of the game and giving him full control of the body.
Vorden's heart beat with the pure fear. He was scared, really scared.
Up to now, even though everything was strange, it was still familiar to the real world, even though a little different. But this... this was a totally different case.
The image was stuck in his mind. The image of people ripping themselves apart.
Zombies.
That was what came to mind when he saw the whole thing. But he didn't really have time to think. There was still a looming threat.
THUD! THUD! THUD!!!
A being was hitting the door, and it was hitting the door hard, what ever it was.
"Quick, push the sofa to the door!!" Vorden said not to loud and not to low, trying to keep his cool.
The student responded far quicker than he expected, immediately getting to work. The pushed the sofa to the door.
He prayed it would hold or at least whatever was there would leave.
***
After a while, the thudding stopped. It became quiet.
Vorden slowly crept up to the sofa, put my knees on it and looked at the peephole of the door.
Vorden's heart skipped a beat. In front of the door was the bus driver, Mr. Zoom. But he wasn't like his self anymore.
His eyes were white with no pupils, his skin had already lost its color and looked greyish like a corpse. He had several bite marks to his head, revealing a little of his skull, which had been cracked by the impact of the bites.
He was just standing there, looking at the door, well, Vorden wasn't sure if he was looking at all
Mr. Zoom head snapped left immediately as if he sensed something. He immediately ran towards the place he looked at, while growling lowly leaving Vorden field of vision.
ARGHHHHHHHHHH!!!
A little while later, a scream came from the area Mr. Zoom weren't off to, followed with sobs. It seems, that whoever that was had succumbed to a gruesome fate.
Vorden looked away from the peephole, heart pounding in his chest.
He looked at the students in front of him. None of there appearance ringing a bell.
"Hello! Are you guess the students from class 5F?" Vorden asked remembering the quest he was given.
The student looked at one another, then looked back at Vorden. They nodded their heads.

"What is going on?"
"Wait! Don't tell me it is what I think it is?"
"Are you thinking what I am thinking?"
"Yes! It seems we have been posted."
"Posted. But we haven't graduated, and we didn't go through the posting portal."
"Maybe, we had a early selection like Sov. Poniros did when he was younger."
"Well, that was a long time ago."
"They are different cases of being posted."
"Well we haven't yet finished the posting training."
"Don't worry, we have Daniel. He has been posted before so everything will be good."
"Yeah, he must have gain some new specs that he hasn't shown anyone."
"He is our leader now. D-BOSS!"
The student went into an uproar. They talked among each other. Happily and giddily.
***
At a corner, D-BOSS was sweating perfusiously. He lied about being posted to garner popularity. I didn't even know one bit about being posted.
***
Vorden was shocked about the new findings. 'So this was what it means to be posted. They just become NPCs to a game.'
How will I even know who is who. Vorden thought, seeing how their appearances are different.
His eyes shifted a little and he say something peculiar. The names of the students appeared above their heads, and beside it was (NPC).
'Ok, that settles that.'
***
"Ok, I need you all to calm down and keep your voices down. It's enough chitchat..." Vorden was about establish decorum in order to attract more of those 'Zombies'
"Excuse me. Who gave you the right to talk.", a student voice rang out.
Looking around, he saw it came from a slim boy with baggy hair. The face didn't strike a chord. Looking up he saw the name 'Taylor'.
"Your boyfriends aren't here to help you, and this place isn't school. So we have no reason to listen to you." Taylor continued.
"Besides, in your report, which I got access to, it says you haven't been posted yourself despite being 27. Isn't that a disappointment." he said with a look of disdain.
"You have no say here. We have Daniel. He has not only been posted early, he is also the best in our class all round and the strongest. I doubt you can even challenge him.", he pointed to his finger to Vorden in a mocking way and said.
"So why don't you sit your arse down and let..."
"Daniel you say?" Vorden looked around until he saw a figure at a corner sweating perfusiously. He say the name Daniel floating above him.
"Ha!Ha!" Vorden laughed.
"What's so funny? So you dare challenge..."
"Sir! Please don't listen to them! I would never go against you, you can trust me! I will be your humble servant say, I can wipe your feat massage! Please ignore this fool! He has no idea what he is saying."
Before Taylor could finish mocking Vorden, a boy who was sweating a lot knelt down in front of Vorden and started kowtowing. It was Daniel.
"..."
Silence.
The room, once filled with chatter and bravado, fell into an eerie stillness. All eyes turned toward Vorden, who simply smiled.
"I hold the true authority... Taylor."
BOOM!!
A shift in the air occured.
A radiant crown of pure white light flickered into existence above Vorden's head, casting a dim glow on the terrified faces before him. For a split second, the temperature seemed to drop, and an invisible weight pressed down on the room.
Taylor staggered backward, his mouth slightly open, his breath shaky. The entire class felt it—an instinctual, primal urge to kneel.
"AUTHORITY."
The word etched itself into their minds, sending a deep-rooted fear coursing through them. Even without meaning to, they knew.
Vorden was in control now.
