"I guess everyone thinks it is cool to use all of their mana to kill a lot of enemies and then almost collapse soon after," Jake said while watching Louise and Lana helping each other.

After that, Jake turned to the sides and fired two dark mana blades at the ice golems nearby. The projectiles exploded after hitting their heads… creating good enough space for the two parts to follow Jake's.

Soon after, Frederick made some earth spikes emerge from the ground piercing the feet of the nearest ice golems. When they tried to move, not only they damaged themselves further, but they also fell on the ground due to the obstacles. As for Helena, she told her party to summon some wind tornadoes, and she put them on fire and made them wipe out all the enemies that approached.

"It is a bit too close… the wind is pulling me," Lana said and then saw Jake, Karina, and Julian facing the ice golems and killing them slowly one by one. "Jake, you want to save mana, right? Why don't you do that thing with Louise."

"Girl… you need to choose your words better on the battlefield," Jake said while splitting another golem from head to toe.

"You have such a dirty mind. I was talking about combining the dark flames with a fireball," Lana said.

"I suppose it is worth a try… tell me when you are ready," Jake said.

"Roger that," Louise said.

Since Jake was also covering for Julian and Karina, Arilene and Louise couldn't do much. So, they were saving their mana. The flames made everything evaporate.
