Chapter 299: 299 How to deal with strong

[OP: ]

They were facing a tiger, a difficult foe that was not going to get subdued just with some poison.

It had a body of crystal-like stone, a body that had physical dense stronger than a giant’s, something that could deflect even strong magic, something that was so difficult to deal with aside from its natural predator, the great dragonoids that roamed the mountains and skies of this island, nothing on this island could deal with them.

Not even the strong humans who have achieved a high level could deal with this beast. It wasn’t possible to deal with it unless one used a great destructive power like refined Aura or high-level concentrated single-target offensive magic.

They were the only ways to deal with these creatures so, historically, there had only been a total of six times when this creature was defeated on this planet.

They were difficult opponents to deal with, however, thankfully, they were creatures that hunted alone aside from mating purposes, they lived their entire lives alone.

Mothers also only took care of the young cubs for a few months before abandoning them on the island.

They were the masters that usually controlled their own territories on this island. Not some little cat that a strong person could just suffocate and kill with poison or cheap attacks.

"Ghaaaaaaaa!"

The creature was bigger than any of them.

"Grrrrr...!"

It was agile and as fast as lightning.

It had skills that could render physical attacks useless and counter most of the attacks that hit the black stripes present on its bluish-green crystal-like body.

{ "Right!" }

-Swish!

"Ghaaaaaaaaa!"

It was a strong foe, but their captain had already figured out most of the things there was to it.

{ "King!" }

{ "One more minute!" }

"Grrrrr-ghaaaaa!"

The creature was poisoned and the poison was spreading all throughout its body.

It would die soon, however, the last ditch effort it was putting in was pushing them to their limits already.

{ "No.9! Don’t...!" }

"Ghaaaaaaaa!"

-Clank!

-Boooooooooom!

The creature was strong, very strong.

It was lightning fast, its roars were shaking the very foundation of this land, its bloody eyes were locked on all of them, and they could feel the danger to their lives.

Every time it attacked, a crater was created on the ground even if one of them had managed to block it.

Every time it moved, it shook the ground and the earth with it.

It wasn’t using just the physical attacks but also powerful elemental attacks of wind and water elements.

And they were strong as well.

"Ghaaaaaaa!"

-Ooooooooooooong!

Every time the creature used it, the forest trees that were many times taller than the tiger fell like a sword had cut them down.

The grounds were covered in deep marks of claws that it made with its elemental powers...

Crocs was injured a while ago when he was protecting No.3. And now that the creature had locked No.2, their weakest member who was still learning things from their employer, the dirty killer jumped it to protect her and, though he managed to survive the first strike from the creature, the second strike came with elemental powers, and, Friday had to jump in to save him this time.

-Ooooooooooooong!

He was their joker so he had permission to act on his own as he wanted. The captain couldn’t command him, and could only request things from him.

{ "No, damn! Fall back! Both of you!" }

He had asked him to look after their Bishop who got his head injured with the flying debris and was unconscious.

Friday had been taking care of him since he was the only one other than the Bishop with a proper healing skill.

He was asked to look after him, however, he jumped in to save the criminal who only wanted to look good in the eyes of his master.

Their captain White Rouge did not like this development and was upset, but he couldn’t change anything anymore.

"Ghaaaaaa!"

Friday was caught up in attack but he managed to save their No.9.

{ "Sir Joker!" }

{ "I am fine!" }

There was a deep cut right on his back and all the insides of his body were visible to them... however, no blood was spilling out. And, as they saw, the wound that was deep enough to kill any strong individual, closed and healed so rapidly that it soon seemed like nothing was ever present there.

"Ghaaaaaaaaa...!" The tiger roared, in pain.

Those who saw this did not know how to put that into words... not that they had time to contemplate something as unrelated as this.

They were facing a life-threatening creature that they could barely put a dent to before.

{ "It’s ready!" }

{ "Alright! Everyone!" }

But as soon as the entire crystal body of the creature had become a mix of red and yellow, they knew it was finally time to deal the final blow.

So...

All their physical damage dealers got together.

{ "Three!" }

They formed an angled formation around the opponent and prepared their stance for the final attack.

Friday cast some powerful buffs on them since the Bishop was absent and while that happened, Gwen finished preparing her magic damage dealer bot.

{ "Two!" }

"Ghaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"

The tiger was angry, even its legs were shaking right now, however, he still endured the poison that would have been enough to kill off a few thousand Orcs and trolls.

The enemy was strong, however, they were not weak either.

"Ghaaaaaaaa...!"

{ "One!" }

The Sword Aura of their captain, the Dagger technique used with a special energy called Arcana from the dirty killer No.9, the battle spirit from the Crocs, and Sword Qi that Master T used fused together... they should not have been used together in normal circumstances, but this was something they had learned from White and practiced thoroughly.

There was no way they were going to mess this thing up, and just like them...

-Oooooooooooong!

There was no way Gwen and Miss Monica would miss what El had drilled in their bones.

-Boooooooooooooooooom!

The strong tiger tried dodging.

It tried getting out of the range of the attacks to at least minimize the damage... and survive.

It knew it had picked the wrong opponents to mess with this time, and it was hurting from the inside out because of the poison.

Moving was difficult but it still tried.

The first attack from the enemy, the combination attack from them to be specific. It avoided getting killed by that powerful attack, and, if he was successful dodging the following attack, he would have survived as well... but, alas.

-Guooooooooooooooooo!

With cracks all over its body and a red fluid thicker than blood flowing out of it, the tiger, the master of this part of the forest and one of the strongest present here roared for the last time.

And after glaring at the bastards who poisoned it, ganged up on it, and killed it with tricks instead of honor, it crumbled down...

[Ding!]

They received individual messages after that announcing their victory against their first opponent on this island, as well as one of the strongest foes they had ever faced in their lifetime.

{ "Move." }

But they did not pay any attention to those messages and after completely treating all of their subordinates, they moved on to the next target without hesitation.

"Ptssssss..."

They had wasted too much time on their first opponent. They were running behind schedule now.

-Boooooooooom!

The goal was to reach the fortress in the center as soon as they could. Dealing with the enemies and killing the creatures was just for the sake of completing the task their employer White had given them.

"Awooooooooooo!"

-Swish! Swish! Swish!

But they still had to deal with them all, even if they were either as strong as that tiger or the snake they just dealt with, or roamed in a pack of many like the wolf they were fighting right now.

-Booooooooooooom!

It was no easy task, all of them as well as the public watching them knew it well. But they were together in this shit.

"Awoooooooooooo!"

They coordinated well with each other.

Their captain, their Ace gave them precise directions they had to follow or left the commanding task to the Handler, their No.2, and gave his all in the battle himself.

They fought to get past the obstacles. With pure determination and conviction.

There was a light in their eyes even though the ground around them was covered by the dead bodies of the creatures.

They were covered in the blood of the beasts they had killed until now, their blades and hands were stained with their blood, and the once peaceful forest was now covered in the sounds of constant destruction.

The innocent smaller creatures had died in the process which had nothing to do with them, however, it was a natural outcome.

Destruction was not something people enjoyed much.

However... in a setting like this one, to reach the final goal area, they had to do at least that much even if they were getting hurt multiple times in the process.

The creatures kept coming and they kept defeating them with their individual abilities, with the use of insects and poison together and with Friday and Happiness Bringer’s buffs, they were making good progress.

Lucy was manipulating the viewers into thinking what the members of the Clubs were doing was very easy for them.

He was convincing them that how every action they took and all the drama happening here was a piece of cake for them.

He was playing with them and their understanding of the current situation... but, it was profitable for their side.

So El didn’t mind any of it at all.
