Transmigration; A Mother's Redemption and a perfect Wife.-Chapter 27; Don’t panic
Chapter 27: Chapter 27; Don’t panic
Looking in the front, you could see in the distance, four lorries coming from the opposite direction and covering the entire road; driving that way meant a head-on collision. To begin with, who was in the wrong way? It’s them because they had been misdirected and someone could have deliberately changed the signs.
And if they drove the other side of the highway, they would end up knocking against other cars, they could survive but end up in jail because of murder. In the middle, there was a thin pedestrian pavement that people were walking through and there were so many. It wasn’t an option. At the back, those cars were after them while shooting; they couldn’t reserve, and that’s a death trap.
Tang Fei immediately jumped onto the driver’s seat sitting on the man’s lap without a care. Rescuing themselves was one of the important things.
"I will take over, and what I want you to do is, the moment I step on the brakes, jump off with the kid and make sure he is safe." She accelerated while timing on those lorries coming from the opposite direction. On the side, on the right side, she could drive off the highway, but that place had a cliff going down several meters, and surviving such a fall was negative. It was better to die than cause an accident to be charged with murder and jailed forever.
"Okay..." The guards agreed as she accelerated, and you could hear gunshots coming from the back and side, they had already hit one of the back wheels. The guard moved from the driver’s seat and sat in the passenger seat.
The guard held Huo Zhihao in his arms waiting for her to brake before they jumped off.
After three minutes of speed driving, she stepped on the brakes but they weren’t working anymore. She tried manual gear, but it wasn’t working either. It seemed like it was in free mode.
"I will sway the car to reduce the speed and find a chance to jump off to the other side of the grassland; you would only receive bruises. All of you would jump off so that I can jump off next before I get closer to those Lorries." Since the brakes weren’t working, she could only find a way to make sure they jumped off and had minimal bruises on their bodies.
"Mother, I can’t jump off and leave you in here all alone." The guard who had jumped off with him was suddenly surprised that the boy was hanging along the door as he had held onto the car’s door handle tightly. The guard had to let go of his body before he could be heavily bruised.
"You are so silly! Close the door then." Tang Fei swayed, and the boy was thrown back into the car, closing the door.
"Come and sit here!" She called him over, and he sat on her lap; bullets were still raining behind them, and a sniper bullet hit her on the chest as she slightly moved Huo Zhihao, having noticed that red dot.
"Mother..." Huo Zhihao panicked seeing his mother whiz in pain.
"Don’t panic! Stay still!" She was a racer in her previous life and she was certain that she was going to get through this successfully.
Huo Zhihao’s body trembled as he went quiet. The lorries were getting closer, and Tang Fei’s car had already lost three wheels; the speed had reduced due to the wheel’s friction against the road.
She steered away from the highway, brushing the car through the guard rails, and even the driver’s door got ripped off. Before it could steer off to the cliff, Tang Fei jumped through the car door with Huo Zhihao in her arms.
