As a child who grow up in the village, she had never seen something so grand as this. Everything was new to her, especially everything that she was seeing in Alayna’s abode.

"Dear, I only have one bedroom at the moment and I am not used to sharing. So, until the house is expanded, I will have to wrong you for a while and let you use the living room," Alayna truly didn’t want to do like this but it couldn’t be helped.

Olinda didn’t mind sleeping anywhere as long as it is comfortable so she didn’t make things difficult for Alayna and agreed.

Alayna was relieved upon hearing that and began to show Olinda around so that she will get used to the house. Her clothes were placed in the closet and Alayna found an empty corner to place them.

It didn’t take a lot of time before Olinda saw the whole space and of course, she knew that the study was off limits as Alayna handles most of her official business there.

As she had not cooked yet, she dragged her new child with her to the kitchen and Olinda began to learn new things once more. Alayna was very patient with Olinda as she wanted the girl to cook and do other chores in the future.

She was going to teach Olinda slowly in the future and also look into what the girl was good at just like Neal and Merita. She didn’t want her children to work in the shop for eternity. They should at least follow their hearts and do what they love.

After cooking, the two had dinner together and Olinda was very happy. She had not eaten like this in ages and she could sense the motherly love from Alayna and this was enough for her.

After dinner, Alayna wanted the girl to rest so she didn’t stay awake for long and brought Olinda some blankets and let her go and wash up first before sleeping.

Alayna bided her new child goodnight before going to have a rest herself. It’s been too long since she had a good rest and now, she can finally let go of her worries.

And Olinda also slept like a baby this night, even her dreams were beautiful that when she woke up the next day she was smiling.

Olinda wasn’t used to waking up late so she was very early and began to clean the house as she had already seen where the broom and mop that Alayna used the previous night were.

When Alayna woke up, Olinda was done cleaning the house and she was filled with warmth. She instructed the other to go and take a bath while she prepares some breakfast.

After breakfast, there was still time before the shop opens so she decided to sit down with Olinda and have a great talk.

"There is something important I forgot to tell you about yesterday," Alayna sighed as she wondered how she could have forgotten something so important.

Olinda wondered what her new mother was talking about and was a bit curious about it so she asked, "what is it?"

"You have two younger siblings, adopted just like you and I hope that in the future you will be the big sister you are supposed to be and take care of them. You don’t have to compare yourself to them in whatever area it may be. Just be you, can you do that for me?"

Olinda never expected that Alayna already had kids but knowing that she was going to be a big sister, she was ecstatic, "I can do that. I am happy to hear this, at least I won’t be alone. Can you tell me about them?"

Alayna didn’t want to brag as that would only make Olinda feel low so she did her best to tell Olinda in the best way possible about her other wonderful kids.

"At the end of the day, I want all of my kids to do things that make their hearts beat and what they love. I want the same for you too, so think hard about it and tell me what you are interested in and I will help you to achieve it. Even if it is to cultivate, I can help you with that but remember that you can also cultivate and do other things that you love."

Olinda never expected that she will be showered with many blessings at once like this. She was so touched that the only way she could show just how much happy she was, was to hug this wonderful woman who kept on showing her just how bright the world is.

Olinda promised to carefully think about it as she wanted to make Alayna happy and do something that she truly loves as well.

When the time was up, Alayna opened the shop and she had Olinda in the shop to watch and learn since she hasn’t taught her about anything yet. A lot of people were curious about Olinda and Alayna didn’t hide a thing.

Alayna passed a message to Selena’s son and at lunch, she received the woman at her shop. Alayna and Selena had a long talk before she escorted the other with a smile on her face.

Some of the things didn’t require you to be present, as long as your connections were right then everything can be solved. Since Selena has the right connections, Alayna asked for her help regarding the adoption issue and Selena was happy to help.

Now all that she needed to do was to wait for Selena to bring the approved documents and new identification for Olinda.

At night that day, Olinda was smiling as tears streamed down her cheeks as she recalled exactly what happened the day, she met Alayna.

As her grandma’s illness was severe, she would go into the mountain and forest to gather some herbs for treatment as they couldn’t afford to call for the doctor every time.

So just like before, she went into the forest, her grandma’s illness was serious and she needed to do something at least to preserve her life for long. The doctor has already warned them that she was dying but she didn’t want to let go.

While gathering herbs in the forest, she was bitten by a snake and this is how the horror began. She couldn’t even walk; the dizzy spells overcame her and she felt as if she was dying.

At some point, she lost consciousness and all she could think of before blacking out was her grandma. She wanted to see her at least one time, she didn’t want to die.

And somehow her prayer was answered as she woke up with a beautiful lady by her side but that wasn’t the issue at the time as all she wanted was to go back home.

The lady that had saved her was Alayna and it was her who took her back to the village using a crazy method she only heard of and had never seen teleportation.

But it was already too late when she arrived, her granny had just passed away and the pain was simply too much for her that she fainted.

Alayna didn’t leave but comforted her, she gave her money for the burial and any other stuff that will be needed. And before she left, she had given her two choices to choose from if she ever wants to leave the village and start afresh.

She didn’t want to leave the village that was filled with the memories of her childhood. She didn’t care about her poverty at all and just wanted to be with her grandma but her relatives made her think twice.

Being a normal human being who isn’t a cultivator, she was already at the age where she can start a family and have kids. Olinda wasn’t ugly at all, she was roughly 1.5m tall, shoulder length brown hair with brown eyes, out of ten in beauty terms, she was six and a belle in the village.

She began to ponder over Alayna’s offer and one night she simply escaped from the village. Although the journey was long and tiring, it was worth it as she didn’t get into trouble, met any bandits, or met any pervert beings along the way.

She was simply grateful that she has been given another chance in life and since she wasn’t being pressured or forced against her own will, she decided to fully commit to her new identity.

Olinda didn’t have a lot of things that she liked but as someone who grew up in the village, she was fond of one thing, farming. It may sound mediocre to others but the feeling of planting something with her own hands, watering it to grow, and witnessing the whole process until it becomes food that people eat, it was simply beautiful to her.

She wanted to grow a lot of things, many herbs that can help others when they are sick and in conclusion, if she was talented, she would have loved to become an alchemist.

Since Alayna had asked her to think about what she wanted and asked her to do what she likes, she knew what to say and she sincerely hopes that she will be able to achieve her dreams.
