The next morning at breakfast Alayna received an answer she thought she will be waiting for a while before receiving it.

"I want to become an alchemist and farmer," Olinda shyly said.

In her own head, she felt as if she was asking for so much but she knows that keeping silent cannot bring anything to the table. It was better to say it out like this even if she gets denied in the end.

Alayna wasn’t expecting to hear such an answer. Olinda is a girl and to be honest, farming is very hard and Alayna didn’t even like it. Her garden was small and luckily some kids helped her with that.

If a small garden was trouble, how could she even deal with a farm?

"Darling, are you sure you want to be a farmer? You know how hard it is right?" Alayna wanted to make sure as being an alchemist was no big deal.

It didn’t mean that an alchemist needs to plant his/her own herbs. They can still buy from others and still concoct pills.

"Yes, I want to plant everything with my own hands. I know that it won’t be easy for me to become an alchemist now but I believe that you can make it happen. So farming is the next right thing for me to do."

"You don’t want to try other things?"

"Maybe in the future but for now, I will stick to this," Olinda was very firm with her decision.

Alayna could only sigh and hope that the other won’t regret it, "okay, since that is your decision then I will help you. Let’s talk further after work."

Olinda was very happy that she had not been denied and rejected so her mood was very jovial for the whole day.

Alayna finally saw Selena after work and the lady brought her the documents that she wanted. She thanked Selena so much but the other simply brushed it off.

With a new identity of Olinda West, Olinda officially became Alayna’s third child as well as the big sister of the first two children.

As she promised Olinda before, the two really talked in detail as Alayna wanted to know what motivated the girl for her to want to go down this path.

And after hearing Olinda’s side, she was convinced and, in the end, she decided to help her achieve her dream.

That night, Alayna bought a pill for Olinda for a large sum, since the child is hers, then she was going to do her best to make her dreams come true.

When she awoke, she was so disgusted when she saw how filthy she was, luckily Alayna who was prepared for this was already awake and simply urged the other to go and clean up.

Olinda felt very light and different and she was very happy. After cleaning herself, she also washed the bedding while Alayna prepared breakfast.

While eating, Alayna smilingly said as she looked at the changed Olinda who looked more enchanting and another point added to her beauty, "the path that you have chosen will be very hard and I hope that you will not give up. I will do my best to find you the necessary arts and skills you need. And if you need to attend school, I will help with that. I will also give you a few books on agriculture so that your mind will be broadened."

Olinda smiled happily upon hearing this, "thank you mom, it really means a lot to me. I will do my best and make you proud. Just trust me."

At the end of breakfast, Alayna told Olinda to not join the shop and left the girl with a huge book on agriculture. Since she wanted to be a farmer then it was wise for her to know more about it.

Luckily Olinda was literate so it was easier to give her books to read. As for the cultivation issue, she will slowly deal with that after a few days as she didn’t want the others to rush into it.

Another off day graced her once more and this time she wasn’t in the mood to go exploring but was in the mood to check the bookshop that was ready for opening and the restaurant.

However, she didn’t do a live stream and simply went to check these two shops. The books were all ready and only waiting to be sold. Susan didn’t come to see her as she was busy with the last books that she was putting on the shelves.

Alayna helped the young lady and was practically proud of the hard work she had put in all of this.

"Since you are all done, I will help you once again and advertise your shop for you. Come by tomorrow in the morning and consider this my gift for all your hard work," Alayna didn’t tell Susan how she was going to do it and left mysteriously.

Susan now has complete confidence when it comes to Alayna so she didn’t doubt her.

Alayna went to check on Claire and was also happy with the way the other was doing. The restaurant that had been closed for a week now was supposed to be ready once again in three weeks and Alayna didn’t mind waiting.

She was going to give Claire some recipes when the time comes, for now, she will wait and see how everything goes.

Alayna was done early and decided to go and visit Selena. Olinda had become a bookworm lately and she didn’t want to bother an earnest student who hungered for knowledge.

Alayna was quite sad to hear that Selena wasn’t in Belshoy but had left for a trip and simply left a message. As Selena was her only friend, she didn’t have anyone to talk to, just like when she was in the Dark Forest.

While roaming around the market, she met with a lot of people that recognized her, so she talked a lot as those people were very eager and friendly.

Of course, they were those that were hostile but she didn’t keep heed of them and just brushed them aside as haters will always be everywhere.

Alayna ended up meeting an excited Nancy once again and it seems like she was done with the second batch. The two went back to the shop where Alayna checked the copies and saw no problem with them, she looked at Nancy with a friendly smile.

"I can see your dedication after this and I can say that I am very pleased with your work. And I now officially invite you to come and join my shop. Of course, you will intern first, after one month or so depending on your work performance, you will become permanent. Your salary will be guaranteed but slightly little when you are interning. You can only receive a lot of benefits once you become a permanent employee. Are you interested?"

Nancy has been waiting for a very long time for this, she wondered when the other was going to pop or the question. At some time, she even thought that she had been forgotten and that was scary and quite depressing.
