TRANSMIGRATED WITH A HYPERMARKET SYSTEM-Chapter 155 - 152: GRATEFUL
Going out to gain experience is the best thing that she ever did, at the same time, it made her miss home more as she couldn’t be with the people, she loved the most.
She was truly grateful for everything that happened to her; however, this didn’t mean that she was grateful for the loss of her biological family. She really missed them a lot, especially her grandmother who raised her when her parents were long gone.
To be honest back then she didn’t know what to do. She nearly lost her life while searching for herbs and if it wasn’t for her adoptive mother Alayna, Olinda would have died in that forest.
To think that she was truly unfortunate on that day made her grieve a lot. Not only did she nearly die but her grandmother also passed on that day.
Losing the only person left that meant a lot to her really threw her into a dark pit and she felt as if the world was going against her but she was there for her. She gave her some hope and after the way her unruly relatives treated her when granny was gone, she knew that she had to accept the offer that Alayna gave her before.
Olinda always knew that her relatives were biased and greedy people but she never thought that they will go to such great lengths to drain the last benefits from her.
In order to escape that life, she made the decision where she went on a journey and accepted Alayna’s offer to become her adopted daughter.
She knew that there was nothing to lose, she didn’t have anything of value that Alayna would want from her so she was at ease.
It’s just that she never expected for the woman she chose to be that awesome. What she saw when she was living with Alayna made her realize that she had somehow hugged the thighs of a big shot and that feeling made her have insomnia for several days.
She learnt new things every day and she was grateful that Alayna didn’t hide anything from her. As a daughter, she also knew not to ask what shouldn’t be asked and everything was okay for her.
When Alayna took her to the Dark Forest where she met the other kids, she felt more honored, and being a big sister for the first time made her anxious but to her surprise, the siblings were pretty good and geniuses as well.
She was shocked by Neal’s cultivation talent, to think that one can possess such tenacious talent made her want to work hard as well.
Merita’s talents were a bit different but she enjoyed reading her little sister’s books. Merita was talented and Olinda could already imagine how bright the future will be for her.
Luckily, she wasn’t someone without a dream, so she didn’t lag behind her younger siblings. As someone who grew up in a village and as a peasant, farming to her was the only way to go.
To grow crops and watch them grow until they can be eaten, was a gift truly. This was bringing something to life so that in the future it can bring life to many people out there.
And with her family’s resources, Olinda could freely research whatever crops she wanted and farm as much as she wanted. Of course, she branched out into herbs as she wanted to become an alchemist in the future as well.
Saving lives is a beautiful thing and remembering how she failed to save her granny, she wanted to do something about it, so she worked extremely hard towards this dream of hers.
Luckily Alayna didn’t pressurize her kids, she would let the kids do whatever they want as long as they all had time to spend together as a family.
Alayna was probably the busiest, traveling to several continents to run her business, sometimes they all felt pity for her but they all knew that they couldn’t help her in her business.
So, the only thing that they could do was to be good kids, work hard and make her proud in everything they do.
Because of this, Olinda never slacked off and worked her a** off. When Alayna asked them one day what they wanted to do, she followed Merita’s lead and told Alayna about entering a medical valley sect and she did it.
Olinda entered the sect through legal channels and not using the back door although she became aware that most elders there wanted to make connections with her mother.

Olinda didn’t mind this actually, she didn’t hate them simply because they looked at her differently, she enjoyed it actually, after all, it was a blessing to have a capable parent or guardian to back her up.
Life in the sect was actually much smoother than she thought. Her master treated her well, she wasn’t neglected but was taught everything that she needed to know.
Being at the sect made her realize that she was just a frog in the well and getting out there was the best choice she ever made. Olinda didn’t take this for granted but studied hard every day.
When she wasn’t studying her books, she was busy familiarizing herself with the several herbs, or cultivating or tending to the garden that she was given by her master.
Olinda never thought that she will make some friends, she knew how dangerous this was especially for someone like her whose mother was a figure that many envied or hated.
She didn’t bother to think about the reasons why they approached her but as long as someone didn’t hold any malicious thoughts toward her, she didn’t mind playing with that person.
Besides, she had been lonely for a very long time and she didn’t want to grow up like that. Alayna’s objective in letting them leave the house was to go out and have some friends and see the world.
If she were to just close herself indoors, she will really let her mother down and she didn’t want to do something like that at all.
So, she decided to do things that will make her happy, and make some friends and if it doesn’t work out, she will move on and try again. That is life after all.
She knew that there will be more in the future and she was looking forward to it and knowing that her family now owns two unique villages in the whole world, she was very proud.
Even the way people looked at her became different. As a child, she didn’t want to rely on her mother’s fame her whole life but she was going to leave her mark as well.
And it was just a matter of time before that happens.
