Chapter 133: Lamia’s Blessing Finale

AUTHOR NOTE BEFORE CONTINUING: I had to update the last Chapter since I created an accidental duplicate, so make sure to reread the latest Chapter before this one before coming back here. I’ll remove this message after a week, so that most continuous readers can see it. So, now, without further ado, let’s get back to the story.

The thought of who ’Lucas’ was still lingered in Zylus’s head; he was curious, very much so. This world was new to him; it felt as if he was teleported right into a novelkiss he had once read back inside the human realm, so it just felt fake and real altogether.

Zelda and Luca stared intensely at one another before continuing.

"Should I explain?" Zelda asked, "Since he dated my older sister and did the deed with her, I feel as though I know most information."

Zylus looked at her, shocked, ’Well, guess that means women are easy in this realm.’

"But my date got taken by him, right in front of me," Luca added, "So it would make sense if I go first, and tell him my side of the story."

Zylus joined the conversation, "Well, I say why not both of you speak?" He asked, "Zelda can say her part right now, and you, Luca," he paused, averting his gaze at the male, "Can say it back inside our dorm."

First, silence was interrupted, then, slight whispers from both cases.

"I guess that works," Luca declared. "Well then, Zelda, go on, what are you waiting for?"

She breathed in calmly before continuing. What she was about to say for some reason just felt breathless, like this information would truly change the way Zylus views others and this world.

One thing that felt off was who these ’Magiacies’ were, and had all of their personalities been this disturbing to the general public?

Zelda breathed in once more, this time she felt pain inside of her heart, for the memories she had lost by that man...

Lucas. The individual proclaimed as a top-ranking necromancer, the highest of those rankings, an S-Rank, a ’Magiacy.’

"Well," Zelda blinked twice, Zylus took a sip of his plastic bottle of water, "To begin, he’s an S-Rank, the highest ranking status given in Noctra, and one of the strongest beings in our world."

"So that means he’s also a-"

"You guessed it." Zelda interrupted, "He’s part of the ten Magiacies, specifically the tenth Magiacy, and he goes by none other than Lucas..."

A pause shimmered in the air for a brief moment, "I’m sure you already know his first name, but he goes by Lucas Astorious, a first-degree noble, from the Astorious bloodline."

"Interesting," Zylus proclaimed, "But I want to know why he’s such a shit bag."

"I’m getting there," Zelda added, "He’s a complete misogynist. He’ll fuck women whenever he wants and leave them to the side; he would harass women as well sometimes, lie to them in their faces, and since he’s the highest degree a noble can be, nobody dares to bother him."

"Yep," Zylus renowned, "That’s a scumbag if I ever heard one."

"Not even just that," she continued, "He strips away individual talents. If he ever sees someone with great talent, he’ll pay a hefty price just so they can work under him, so he can have full control. If they reject, he’ll figure out a way to ruin their entire image, leaving them depressed and eventually killing themselves."

"And nobody can do anything either way," Lucas jumped in, "Because there’s no evidence, only ’rumors’ is what the governors like to call it, when all of it is naturally true."

Zylus leaned closely, now interested, ’Maybe I could teach that guy a lesson or two, wouldn’t be a bad idea now, would it?’ He thought, hoping that the opportunity would come again.

Though at the same time, he wanted to keep a slightly low profile, only because he was new to this place, he didn’t understand what was happening. All he knew was that Lumia’s strength had to do with necromancy, and possibly something about creation.

"Well then, continue," Zylus murmured, intrigued.

"Basically, he’s a scumbag, trying to do anything for his own good. At this point, not even the governors can do anything about it because of his strength and how powerful he truly is. The only people that can truly do something are the S-Rankers, or the ones with a title of ’Magiacy,’ which they refuse to do so." Zelda stated, taking a sip of her diet drink in a plastic cup, through the rubber straw.

Zylus bit the final bite remaining on his smash-cheeseburger, ’Really tasty, better than the food place I eat back in Htrae, whatever it was called.’

He looked at all ten of his fingers while chewing a mouthful of food, ’Though I could even taste food in this realm, very interesting.’

While Lucas and Zelda took a quick break to snack, one of the waiters began coming to their table.

"We close in ten minutes," She stated while taking away the empty trays elegantly, "Hope you guys enjoyed the food."

Zylus and the two others smiled back at her. "We did," Zylus stated.

She nodded profoundly in return, then walked back to the kitchen counters to organize everything properly before her shift ended.

Luca got up, "Anyways, that’s pretty much all there is to say about him, so once we go back to the dorm, I don’t need to add on to any of this." He smiled, "Let’s get going, though, just looking outside..."

All three of them averted their gazes. "It’s getting really dark, which is usually when the awakened go into rifts and defeat dungeons."

Before continuing any further, Zelda and Zylus stepped up from their seats as well, and during that process, Zylus decided to check something out.

"[Human System] and [Demon System], deactivate." He whispered, and that’s when something dawned over him.

He can still use his powers in this realm as well...
