Time Travel: The Heroine Has Arrived!-Chapter 1564: Other People’s "Mermaid" VS Competitive Villain (Part 53)
She stared fixedly at Prince Jonathan, her determined gaze rendering him speechless.
Jonathan simply believed this was her excuse.
Or rather, subconsciously, he considered it just an excuse.
He gazed obsessively at Gu Shengyin’s flawless and perfect face, and said very unwillingly, "Tiana... You should have belonged to me initially."
Gu Shengyin’s expression changed.
But before she could speak, she saw the figure behind Prince Jonathan.
In an instant, all her agitated emotions calmed down.
She even withdrew the words she had been about to say.
This man had arrived.
She trusted him to handle everything well.
She only needed to relax and enjoy his broad embrace.
Prince Jonathan didn’t notice Raymond’s arrival. Seeing Gu Shengyin silent, he thought she was softening her stance, feeling delighted.
"Tiana, listen to me..."
"Jonathan." A cold voice came from above his head.
Prince Jonathan turned around in shock, seeing Raymond standing behind him in a crisp military uniform, coldly staring at him with sharp eyes.
Faced with such eyes, Prince Jonathan felt a moment of panic.
But having experienced many grand occasions, he quickly calmed down.
"Raymond, you’re here," he said calmly.
Raymond gave him a glance and suddenly said, "Tiana is not yet married, nor is she acquainted with His Royal Highness to such an extent; it is better for His Royal Highness to call her Miss Leonard."
His Royal Highness.
Prince Jonathan knew that when Raymond spoke this title, their friendship ended even here.
In fact, within Raymond’s heart.
When Jonathan said those words to Gu Shengyin, his ties with Prince Jonathan were already severed.
Moreover, it was Jonathan himself who ruined it.
If Prince Jonathan truly regarded him as a friend, he wouldn’t have privately invited Gu Shengyin out after their relationship was confirmed, and spoken such ambiguous words.
No man could tolerate such a thing.
Especially when Gu Shengyin was of special significance to Raymond.
Jonathan watched as Raymond, after speaking, walked to Tiana’s side.
Tiana, always indifferent to him, smiled when she saw Raymond, and without hesitation placed her hand into Raymond’s outstretched palm, standing up.
They looked incredibly well-suited together.
This realization made Jonathan feel even more unwilling.
The person who should be standing beside her, shouldn’t that be him?
Perhaps his gaze was too blunt, Raymond finally directed his attention.
"Your Royal Highness, from the beginning to the end, Tiana has always been my fiancée. Please spare any excess thoughts, lest we both lose face later."
His words were already quite blunt.
It was essentially a challenge—my fiancée, you are not allowed to covet her!
Gu Shengyin obediently held hands with Raymond, hiding behind him.
Such a completely reliant posture made Prince Jonathan realize clearly that he truly now had no chance anymore.
If she harbored feelings for him, he wouldn’t have let go, even if it meant offending Raymond.
But she had no feelings for him, so why force himself into such an awkward position?
