After Giving Birth, All My Beast Ex-Husbands Suddenly Want Me Back-Chapter 150: Lingering danger
"You’re right," Rosen said, her eyes sharpening. "He must have found some wild female out there."
Lex must have lost his mind. How could some random female outside possibly compare to the noble females she had so carefully selected for him?
She abruptly sat upright.
"Go summon Eagle Sky. I’m going personally to bring Lex back."
She wanted to see for herself what kind of female had bewitched her son so thoroughly that he would even abandon his position as city lord.
"Female Lord, there’s no need for you to go in person," Lani urged. "The wilderness is remote and harsh. The journey would be too exhausting."
"Yes, Female Lord, just send others," Shael added, surprised she intended to go herself.
"No need to persuade me. I’ve made up my mind," Rosen said firmly.
Besides... a trip outside might be a welcome change. She had grown rather bored staying in Sea Blue City.
Just then, Dian and Jiro arrived and happened to overhear everything.
Dian’s expression sharpened for a moment, but he quickly stepped forward with a bright smile.
"Mother, you’re going to find Lex? Take me with you!"
He wanted to see exactly which "wild female" had stolen away his beloved brother.
Jiro’s eyes lit up as well.
"Mother, take me too!"
Rosen looked at her two favored sons and agreed without hesitation.
"Alright. You’ll both come along."
Lani sighed inwardly.
Lex... you’d better prepare yourself.
If he really had fallen for someone, he’d better secure her quickly—once his mother arrived, he might not get another chance.
Eagle Sky’s speed was unmatched.
Before long, Rosen set out with a large group of beastmen, heading straight toward Nina.

Meanwhile, in Sin City, Yosan had received news from Ino.
He stared at the crystal that had long since shattered.
"I didn’t expect the males around that female to be so powerful... They actually managed to kill Wu and severely injure Ino."
A tenth-rank beastman?
Then this time... he would go personally.
No matter what, he would capture that female.
"City Lord Sen, are the offerings ready?" Yosan asked.
"Almost," Sen replied.
"Keep a close watch on that snake," Yosan said coldly. "Don’t let him escape again."
Last time, the creature had nearly broken free—almost ruining his entire plan.
"I understand. That was my oversight before," Sen said with a trace of apology. "This time, with the increased restraints, he won’t be able to break free."
He hadn’t expected that snake to be so formidable.
Even with its power suppressed, chains forged by an eleventh-rank dark shaman had barely been enough to restrain it.
If it hadn’t exhausted itself trying to break free last time, it might truly have escaped.
Although the great shaman had ultimately subdued it, they had still lost many capable subordinates in the process.
This time, he would be far more vigilant—constantly reinforcing the chains’ energy to ensure there were no mistakes.
"The snake clan is extraordinarily powerful—and that one is among the strongest of them," Yosan said, a chilling glint in his eyes. "Do not underestimate it."
If it escaped again... Sen would be the first to be sacrificed.
"Yes. I’ll be careful," Sen replied.
"I’ll leave this place to you. I’m going to capture an important offering."
A sinister smile curved Yosan’s lips.
Ino had mentioned seeing a young Tengsnake of pure blood.
Perfect.
He would capture that one as well.
With that, Yosan dissolved into a swirl of black mist and vanished.
At that moment, Nina had no idea that danger was quietly approaching.
After dinner, she sat inside the house, teaching Momo and Mimi to recognize picture cards. The other three cubs and the egg babies played happily on the bed.
Outside, Aviel stood staring at her door, troubled.
Finally, he gathered the dragon clan males and went inside.
"Tell me—why was Nina angry today?"
He had thought about it all day and still couldn’t figure it out.
He didn’t think he had done anything wrong.
"My king... I can’t figure it out either," Pado admitted, scratching his head. "But I feel like it might have something to do with your identity."
"My identity?"
Aviel frowned, deep in thought.
What was so special about his identity?
He had the same suspicion—but couldn’t understand why.
"It seemed like Nina didn’t like your identity," Pado continued. "And the same goes for that Sea Blue City lord."
"Why would she dislike my identity?" Aviel asked, puzzled.
Suddenly, Viann’s eyes lit up.
"Do you think... Nina knows you were once engaged? That you had a former fiancée—and that’s why she dislikes you?" 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
"Is that it?" Aviel stroked his chin. "That... does seem possible."
That was probably the only flaw tied to his identity.
Worry filled his expression.
"If Nina really dislikes me because of that... what should I do?"
"That’s difficult," Pado said, frowning. "That’s something that’s already happened. It can’t be changed."
Unless time itself could turn back.
"Then maybe... we find a chance to explain things clearly to her?" Viann suggested eagerly. "Show your sincerity. Tell her you never liked that female—that the engagement was arranged by the old city lord. And that you broke it off because she was a bad person."
"Would that work?" Aviel hesitated. "Pado, what do you think?"
He instinctively felt Viann’s idea wasn’t entirely reliable—but he had no better solution.
Truthfully, he hadn’t broken off the engagement solely because of that princess’s reputation. More than anything, he simply didn’t want an arranged marriage—didn’t want to be bound to a stranger he had never met, or a female he didn’t love.
"I... can’t say for sure," Pado admitted. "We don’t even know the real reason Nina was upset. It’s hard to judge."
"My king, trust me," Viann insisted.
He was convinced Nina must be upset about the past engagement—his plan had to work.
Aviel hesitated.
"I’ll think about it a bit more."
Should he try Viann’s suggestion?
Was Nina really upset because he had once been engaged?
If not...
Then what was the real reason?
Aviel’s brows knit tightly as he sank into deep thought.
Inside, Nina knew nothing of their worries.
She was happily playing a card game with the cubs.
Odian and Sal sat nearby, watching her with gentle, affectionate gazes.
"Last one—find the chili pepper," Nina said with a smile.
Yinny, Didi, and Linny quickly picked it out. Momo and Mimi, still learning, took a little longer—but they got it right as well.
"Wow, you’re all amazing! Come get your candy!"
Nina handed out little sweets, her eyes warm with pride.
"Alright, that’s it for today. Time for bed."
Odian and Sal instantly perked up.
Finally.
The cubs obediently climbed into bed, and under Nina’s soft, soothing voice, they gradually drifted off to sleep.
The moment they were asleep, Odian and Sal exchanged a glance—then moved at the same time.
"Nina... tonight..."
Sal gently took her hand, lightly brushing her palm, his meaning unmistakable.
"Nina, I made a new outfit," Sal said, taking her other hand, his gaze alluring. "Come take a look?"
After seeing his "preparations," Odian immediately understood what Sal meant and hurried to add,
"Nina... I have one too."
He bit his lip slightly, his expression shy yet expectant.
"I want to show it to you."
"Nina, look at mine," Sal said confidently. "My body will look better in it."
Odian shot him a sharp look—his physique was no worse.
Turning back to Nina, he softened instantly, his tone almost pleading.
"Nina... look at mine. You haven’t seen it yet."
A faint blush rose on Nina’s cheeks.
She glanced at the sleeping cubs.
"If I leave... what about them?"
"We can leave one of us behind to watch them," Odian said gently. "Nina... we’re your mates."
Nina hesitated, then nodded.
Odian and Sal’s eyes lit up at once. "Nina... who will you choose tonight?"
