He handed her back to Caishen and went down to join his family. His wife and mother were already dabbing at the corners of their eyes. It was understandable why they were crying, but why was Tai Fong crying too? So openly and loudly at that?

"Quiet him down." He whispered to Tai Change.

Tai Change had no idea how to stop his younger brother from crying. He settled for glaring at him and threatening him with his eyes. Even little Peach was not crying, so why was the adult making a scene?

There was nothing they could do anyway so they let him be and paid attention to the wedding. Nobody wanted to miss a single moment.

In the meantime, XBS had already released the pictures and a short video captured at the moment when Alix and Caishen got on the carriage.

As it was with all of Alix’s other accomplishments, Caishen had given instructions to his men to ensure that the Lin’s watched the wedding forcefully. They could not miss even one moment of it.

Lin Billi was crying silently, filled with regret. If she had just accepted to marry Caishen when he was in that wheelchair, all of Alix’s glory, fame, adoration of the Tai’s and money would be hers. How could she have known that he would have the opportunity to recover and would become even wealthier than before?
