The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system-Chapter 599: The wedding___2
Chapter 599: The wedding___2
All preparations were made, the bride was prepared and thirty minutes to the wedding, Alix was taken down to the parking ground. Because their was paparazzi on ground, she was surrounded by bodyguards at every angle to prevent any pictures of her wedding gown from being leaked.
It was a privilege for those that had paid money to cover the ceremony. They had gone so far as to have Third knife hold an umbrella over her head to prevent any drones from getting lucky.
When she arrived, to her surprise, there was a horse carriage waiting along with her husband. He was wearing a white suit and his hair had been straightened, falling back. One strand had been left hanging down to his forehead. He looked so regal, handsome, dashing and bewitching.
He was everything she had ever dreamed her husband would be and she wanted to forget everything and just throw herself into his arms.
"Aaah..." Alix squealed in a small mosquito like voice. "Oh my God, what is this?"
Two white horses from the ones she had given the children as gifts had been attached to a black and gold horse carriage. Caishen extended his hand to her, to help her into the carriage. frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓
"I thought we were not supposed to see each other until we say i do. You are truly impatient my beautiful man." She teased.
"I am marrying you for the second time, and there will be a third and fourth in future. Some traditions, we have to erase." He took her hand since she was delaying in offering it.
He smiled at her gently as he raised it to his lips. "I could not wait," he said in an emotionally charged voice. "I didn’t see you all day yesterday, we didn’t get to share a bed. If i had to spend more hours away from you i am pretty sure that i would die."
She felt shy with his open and bold cliche declarations in front of all their bodyguards. Nan Yunwan and her team were taking pictures and videos, capturing every moment of their interaction.
"Talk about shameless." she mumbled. "What’s with the horses?" she lifted her head and asked.
He looked at them and shrugged with his head. "You asked for a fairy tale themed wedding. Horses and a carriage scream fairy tale to me. So...." he gestured to the entrance of the carriage with one hand. "Your highness, the carriage awaits."
Alix squealed softly and bounced on the balls of her feet. It was only the guffaws and fake coughing of the bodyguards which stopped her from shouting and laughing like a maniac.
She got into the carriage and Caishen entered as well. Not even once, for single second did they take their eyes away from each other as the carriage started to move.
"You look so...wow!!" he reached a hand up to touch her face and stopped himself.
Caishen was afraid that he might smudge her make-up or ruin her look somehow.
"My heart wanted to abandon me when i set my eyes on you. You look so amazing....we really had a crappy first wedding. That dress truly didn’t do your beauty justice, look at you, you are like a Goddess."
"Stop." Alix could not take it anymore. She chucked and diverted her eyes for five seconds. "Okay, keep going."
A hearty laughter flew out of his mouth and he took her right hand again. He couldn’t help kissing the back and then staring offensively at the white glove which was the barrier between his lips and the bare skin of her hand.
"Do you need the gloves?"
She snatched her hand away and pouted. "Hmph! shameless." she whispered coquettishly.
He pinched her chin softly and made her turn to look into his warm eyes.
"For you, i have no morals Alix. My God you look so beautiful, you are beautiful everyday but right now it is like you have become an angel, my angel."
She laughed and this time, covered her eyes with one hand. Between checking to see if he had a fever and accepting his endless compliments, she didn’t know which reaction was needed.
"Let’s get married every month." he suggested.
"What!" she exclaimed. "Are you crazy?"
"I want to see you like this everyday." he muttered.
"Crazy." she extended her hand and pinched his waist. "We can keep the gown or buy other wedding dresses. We don’t need to get married every month, weddings are expensive."
He grinned like a fool. "My wife is so smart, let’s just buy a wedding dress shop. You can just wear one for each day of the week."
Alix was thankful that the carriage came to a stop at that moment and Caishen was forcefully sent out by her father. He did not even hide his reluctance when they were being forced to part ways.
"Hmph, that stinky fellow really knows how to stick to good things." Chairman Tai commented.
He helped Alix down and admired her for a few seconds while nodding continuously, showing his approval.
"Indeed, you are the most beautiful bride i have ever seen after your mother. Truly, you are my daughter and worthy of being a Tai. We only have good genes in our family."
Alix guffawed and placed her hand in his, her sharp ears had caught the change in the music. It was time for the bride’s entourage to begin its entrance.
Mu Mu was the first to go in when the wide doors leading to the fairyland of her imagination opened. She was followed by Jin Kang and Holea, then Alix and her father followed.
Right from the door way, her feet landed on a soft carpet, green like the grass in a meadow and littered with pink and white flower petals.
The path leading to where her husband was standing was surrounded by short trees, with glittering lights weaving through the branches. Short trees had been chosen so as not to cover the guest’s view of the bride.
From the ceiling, lanterns hung down, casting a bright but warm glow in the room which had been decorated to resemble a grove and floral fairy land. Unexpectedly, they had even added fireflies in glass jars, hanging from the ceiling like chandeliers.
Her sharp eyes noticed that the fireflies were not real fireflies, they looked more like butterflies of yellow and orange colors. They were a product of the hidden city and after her wedding, they would be on high demand.
The guests tables were adorned with floral arrangements and made to look as if the flowers were growing out of the wooden chairs themselves.
It was everything Alix had fantasized about in her mind, she had no idea how they had pulled it off though. It was truly magnificent and unexpected.
With tears forming in her eyes, Alix glided easily, guided by the soft music played by a string quartet and her father’s firm steps. Caishen was impatient, he hardly waited for them to reach before taking steps to meet them with a big grin on his face.
"Tch, he is really impatient." Chairman Tai whispered.
He didn’t dally and handed her off, not forgetting to make the cliche threat most fathers made on the day their daughters were married off. Except for the part where his were different.
"Take care of my daughter, remember that she has many brothers and i am a knight, her mother is a fox and she is a dragon. If you misbehave, one of us will take your head off."
