The unexpected but bold declaration swept everyone by surprise, especially the reference to himself as a bastard. Alix wanted to find the nearest swimming pool or any water body really and just dive him head first. Everyone was looking from the silly system to her as if she had been the one to teach him to refer to himself as a bastard.

"It wasn’t me." Alix denied strongly.

She looked down at the silly round eyed system and pinched it’s ear. "You little troublesome bastard, hurry up and tell them."

The moment those words slipped out she realized that she had just declared herself guilty and she groaned. Raising her eyes to meet those of the others, she felt a little too hot and embarrassed.

"Okay, this one is one me, i admit. But, i really didn’t tell him that he was a bastard. This troublesome kid is not as simple as he appears."

"We know." Tai Ho Sun shared.

She saw that all the older brothers and mature people were nodding. Apparently, with every strange thing happening in the family now, everyone had turned into Sherlock Holmes and they had keen eyesight, keeping tabs on every small change in everyone and everything around them.

"The kid has been eating like a dustbin Alix, it’s not normal. We figured he is one of the special people and you are on baby sitting duty." Auntie Mo shared what was the conclusion they had all jumped to was.

Alix turned her head to Caishen, a ’why didn’t we think of this?’ look on her face.

"Well, you are right mom, he is special." She jumped on board with the new and better explanation. In the back of her mind she was thinking, ’He is special alright, a special troublesome system.’

"Well, he is our kid now, you can consider him my and Caishen’s child." she informed them.

Just like that, she settled the matter to do with the system in human form. From now on, whatever it did, nobody would bat an eye.

They all started walking once again, and nobody asked a question about the special child again. They did not stop looking at him however, wondering what his origin was and what system he had if he was a system host.

"Tai Mafan, i think it sounds better than Zhang Mafan." Grandpa Tai suddenly said out of the blue.

Caishen rolled his eyes, the old man was just greedy for everything. He was already planning to name their first daughter Tai Liwu, because she would be a present to him from God in his old age.

He was simply shameless, even claiming Mafan already since Alix had said to consider him their kid. The old man was not going to steal his daughter.

Soon, they all came to the parking ground and started dispersing.

"Hey An." Alix called out.

Zhang An whose face was still sulky turned to Alix. She petulantly folded her arms and huffed. Alix smiled and dangled a key car.

"Surprise," she pointed in the direction of the brand new car.

Everyone else was about to enter their car or still walking when a loud scream stunned them and they all turned toward the sound. Zhang An, the screamer was jumping up and down.

The car which Alix was pointing to was silver and black in color, a sleek futuristic car designed for speed and luxury. It was shaped like a sports car with sharp elegant lines and shimmering rims.

Zhang An’s kneed went up and down as if she was doing high knee exercises as she continued to squeal.

"Which brand is this, which brand is this, Oh my gosh! oh my gosh, oh my gosh!"

Alix put a hand on her chin, eyeing the brand less car with thoughtful eyes. Such a cool car would need a cool name and a cool logo to go with it. As someone that had given her mall her name, it was only befitting that the car be given her name as well.

"Mmm, let’s go with Alix’s brand."

She walked closer and touched the door of the car. The part she touched lit up, a white rotating circle as her hand was scanned and then a female automated voice came from inside.

[Fingerprints recognized, passenger Tai Alix, doors opening.]

The driver’s side and passenger side doors opened up sharp angel’s wings.This time round, another squeal accompanied Zhang An’s, it was Tai Fong’s the car maniac in the family.

He rushed out of nowhere and threw himself into the car. His grubby hands started touching everything while his eyes roamed lecherously.

Suddenly, he was thrust out of the car by an invisible force and he fell down.

[Unrecognized occupant, evacuation measures activated, defense mode activated, target acquired.]

A red light came from the car and it aimed at Tai Fong who raised his hands up in surrender and looked at Alix. He didn’t know what was being pointed at his chest but he knew better than to move. Wasn’t it sniper rifles that aimed at people like this?

"Sister, tell this ruthless thing to back off, i was just trying to look at the car, not meet my ancestors."

Alix rolled her eyes. "Move, it won’t shoot if the owner of the car doesn’t command and don’t just jump into any strangers car next time brother. Do you not know about stranger danger? Even Xiaobo know about it, he can protect himself better than you."

Xiaobo was not far from her and when he heard himself being praised by his aunt, he stepped out with a proud look on his face.

"Yes uncle, i know all about stranger danger, even Majesty and Baby and Royal and King and Queen...." he mentioned every name of every pet owned by everyone in the family. "They all know about stranger danger uncle. Aunt, don’t worry, i will teach uncle Tai Fong very well."

Looking at the one who dared to teach when he was not even half the height and size of the one he would be teaching made everyone chuckle.

Tai Fong could have cared less as he wanted information and access to the car more than anything.

Alix meanwhile made Zhang An register her hand and voice prints with the car since it was hers. The woman did not even stick around and she drove off after activating the self driving feature of the car. She even left her boyfriend that had been faithfully waiting for her. If the car could emit gas, she would have left them all coughing and gasping for breath.

Tai Fong was sad to see the car and he mourned it’s disappearance as if it was a part of his flesh that had been taken away.

"Sister, let’s talk." he grabbed onto Alix.

"It was a bribe." she explained.

"My sister, i love you the most in the whole world." he spoke bashfully and refused to let her go. "I also love being bribed, who doesn’t?"

Alix looked around and noticed the feverish looks most of her brothers were giving her. If she gave Tai Fong a car, the rest would be clamoring for one as well. What the hell, she had like sixty of them anyway.

"Fine, i will be the father Christmas of the family for Lunar new year, everyone is going to get a new car."
