Chapter 549: Pay back time.

As soon as the human shaped system Zhang Mafan returned to her side, they made their way back to the baseball field. Now, only the Zhang’s and Tai’s remained and it was obvious why.

On the field, it looked like a new game was about to begin, a game of Zhang An versus Zhang Yong. They were standing in the center, ready to face off while everyone watched.

Zhang Yong was waving his hands, indicating that he did not want to fight Zhang An, whether it was because he lacked fighting talent, the fact that she was a woman or she was a woman that happened to be his sister was unknown. It was simply clear that he did not want to fight.

Not surprising, the Tai’s were making more of a racket from the issue than the available Zhang’s who were acting civil and cultured.

Initially, Alix didn’t understand why Zhang An could not keep it in until they went home and then she could unleash her fury on Zhang Yong but when reasoned it out, it would not work. First of all, whose home would they be going to?

Neither Caishen nor Bo would be opening up their homes for the fight. Zhang An and Yura were just the same, they would not welcome Zhang Yong into their homes too.

The fight could not take place at the old mansion of the elders, they would not allow it to happen. It most certainly could not happen in a public space where reporters and the public would see it.

Trending for such a matter would affect the image of the Zhang group. Indeed, they needed a private neutral ground, somewhere nobody would intervene and the baseball field was it.

Alix sidled up to Caishen and tapped him on the shoulder.

"Did i miss it?" she asked enthusiastically.

"One punch landed so far, she got him in the ribs." Caishen grabbed her by the waist as he replied.

Alix applauded. "That’s my girl."

Loudly, she supported and cheered Zhang An on as the woman landed a perfect punch across Wang Yong’s jaw and then she jumped from side to side like a professional kick boxer in the ring.

Further more, she gestured at Wang Yong to fight back.

"Come on tough guy," she shouted.

Wang Yong cradled his jaw and shook his head, indicating that he would not fight back. He would have aroused pity from everyone if they didn’t know why Zhang An was doing what she was doing.

"Make it hurt rich girl." Alix bellowed at the top of her voice.

Suddenly, Zhang An run towards Wang Yong, kicked him between the legs and then threw him over her shoulder, a move that surprised everyone. Nobody had been expecting her to be extremely ruthless. In fact, the Zhang’s were expecting a few slaps and scratches, not the possible ending of Zhang Yong’s line through the destruction of his testicles.

Zhang Yong was on the ground, howling in pain with tears in his eyes and Zhang Xian, worried, run to him. Even Zhang Bo stepped forward slightly and took a peek. freewёbnoνel.com

"How bad is it?" he asked.

Since there was no doctor in the group, nobody could confirm the extent of the damage which Zhang An had done.

Tai Fong mercifully shared an ice pack from one of the coolers that had been holding all the canned beer they had drunk during the game. The ice pack was handed to Zhang Xian and it was placed between Zhang Yong’s legs.

"An, that’s too far." Zhang Mixi called out.

Zhang Ziyi, from the third branch nodded, agreeing with Mixi.

"Yes, An, that’s too far. The elders will not be happy about this, how can you be so cruel to your own brother?"

There were around fifteen people from the Zhang family that had come for the game. At the moment, all of them seemed to be united in condemning Zhang An with their eyes for being extreme.

Coldly, Zhang An questioned the two, "Is it worse than what he did to my second brother?"

The question shut them up efficiently and it sealed the mouth of anyone else that wanted to say something. A nearly fatal accident was nothing in comparison to this.

"Enough, let the matter end here." Zhang Xian declared strongly. "You are all my children, the feud cannot go on forever. I hope that this will be the beginning of forgiveness and unity between you all."

Zhang An gritted her jaw and clenched her hand. This was far from satisfying her but for the sake of her father, she would not beat Wang Yong up again.

"I am done." she said.

Zhang Xian exhaled in relief. He looked at Caishen and Bo, needing their verbal confirmation as well that the matter had been laid to bed. Perhaps in their hearts it would still matter but whenever they were around each other, they would not fight and squabble to the end.

Caishen nodded and then Bo followed. Two people from the Zhang side came and helped Zhang Yong up, planning to send him to the hospital.

Zhang Xian approached the Tai elders and spoke to them respectfully with a sorry smile on his face.

"In-laws, i apologize for letting you see such a sight. We are normally united more than this, i promise."

Grandpa Tai shrugged and laughed. "What’s a little kicking and scratching between siblings? You do not need to apologize to us, just be thankful that its little An that decided to beat him up and not our Alix otherwise, he would be in a hospital hooked up to all sorts of machines right now."

"Tell him to be more sensible next time and not pick on our grandson-in-law ever again. Alix has many brothers that are willing to do what little An has done and more." Grandma Tai reminded Zhang Xian.

To the elders, Caishen was married to Alix and she was a Tai which made him an honorary Tai. The Tai’s always defended their own and the only reason Wang Yong had not suffered a beat down at the hands of the Tai boys was because Alix stopped them from touching him.

She didn’t want to stir up issues with the Zhang elders, not before her wedding. If Zhang Yong dared to harm Caishen again, they were allowed to go all out and do as they pleased.

Zhang Xian detected the threat in the words of the Tai elders but he maintained the smile on his face. At the end of the day, the one they were defending was also his son.

Finally that matter was settled and they left the field with the younger ones slowly rehashing Zhang An’s greatest hits.

"Sister, who is the new one?" Tai Ho Sun finally asked about the little boy tagging along like a little tail behind Alix.

His question reminded the others that they too meant to ask about the boy but it somehow skirted their minds when they were having fun.

"Mafan," she answered.

Tai Fong looked back and laughed. "Trouble."

Alix nodded.

"Zhang Mafan." she gave them his full name.

The boy peeked from behind her and said adorably, "I am Lin Qianfan’s bastard son."
