Alix’s plan was to leave the event on her own and go home. It was already over after all, and most of the important guests had left.

Because of what had happened between her and Yu Xi, however, the plan was adjusted. Everyone was under the assumption that she had was so fragile she could break down at any second so they all followed her home using different excuses.

The get together which Caishen, Bo, their friends and the Tai brothers was moved to Blossom courts, to Alix and Caishen’s home. Food and desert from the hotel was also brought along that to Si Huang Chen.

For her friends, it was their first time visiting her house and Nanny Luo was glad to show them around. Mo Qilu was also happy to show them around, especially Holea. The two were subtly trying to one up each other and they seemed to be enjoying it.

Drinks, food and snacks were all flowing in plenty. There was a lack of stiffness here as everyone abandoned uptight decorum at the door. They wanted to have a good time and it was what they would have.

From the way they were drinking, Alix was certain that most of their guests would spend the night there or at Bo’s place.

Since everyone was enjoying themselves and busy with something, she stole away temporarily, planning to change out of the white dress.

She found Caishen on his way out of the bedroom, already out of his suit.

"Hubby, we really think alike." she said.

He pushed his wheelchair back and opened his arms. He smiled and and told her, "Come here."

"Hmmm." she tilted her head and responded in a confused tone.

He nodded and gestured at her to go over. Without any reluctance, she giggled and walked to him, sitting down on his lap and wrapping both of her arms around his shoulders. She interlocked her fingers behind his neck.

His arms meanwhile went around her waist and he looked at her with a soft look. He sighed when his partly agonized eyes met hers.

"I know that you are tired of hearing this question but i have to ask."

She stared back at him with expectation in her eyes.

"Let me guess, you want to ask if i am okay."

He nodded slowly. The way Holea had acted was clearly evidence that the seven fingers thing bothered her. There must have been much more to the story than just being called seven fingered Alix.

For Alix not to eat cake that was so delicious, it was a very big deal. He had already told Mo Sen to get on it immediately and find out all of Yu Xi’s information.

He wouldn’t just kill creepy crawlies like cockroaches and spiders for her, even humans that hurt her, he would handle.

He pushed her hair back, arranging it behind her ear as he said slowly, "That woman made you unhappy."

"It was just a momentary reminder of the ugly past, nothing more. If i do meet her again, i will fold my ten fingers, make a fist and give her a good punch."

She kissed him on the cheek quickly and unwound her hands. "We have guests, you have to entertain. Besides, your mother and sister are coming over too so we cannot hide out here in the bedroom. I am going to take a quick bath, buy me fifteen minutes if anybody asks for me."

He let her go and watched her go into the into the closet. After she left, she got out of the bedroom all the while texting Lexian. He didn’t want his wife ever running into that Yu Xi of a woman. While the plan for punching her was good, it was not a permanent solution.

Beijing was big but it could be small in terms of the business circle. This Yu Xi character was a business woman so they would keep running into each other time and time again.

It was better to buy her out of the business and give her shares to his wife and when that was done, she would be run out of the city. If she happened to have seven fingers when that happened, then there was nothing wrong with that too.

Alix came out of the closet, walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower.

She had no plans of taking a shower however, not yet anyway. That smile which she had been giving everyone all night was fake.

She was not okay, not when the memories of Yu Xi’s bullying were so fresh on her mind. She had to release some of the anger in order to feel better.

"System, give me Yu Xi’s address right now." She looked at Majesty that had been by her side almost all day and said, "Let’s go, Majesty. We should create some trouble."

The cat darted off the bed with superspeed. It followed her as she opened the balcony, meowing loudly.

"It’s that woman, that one that was looking at your husband. How did you know about her when i haven’t told you anything?"

"I have super hearing, have you forgotten?" she replied.

She had been tracking Yanfang all night with her sharp senses. None of the coquettish fake ’brother this and brother that’, had been missed by her ears. Tonight however was not Yanfang’s night to be dealt with.

"No, it’s the other one that came by the table."

The cat looked at her through sharp eyes and said, "Tch, you want the one that called you seven fingers more than the husband eater."

"What in the world is a husband eater?" she asked her cat.

She changed into a dragon the size of a large eagle while Majesty shrunk himself and leaped onto her back.

Alix was nervous and a bit uncomfortable. This would be her first time flying in dragon form outside the game. Most of the confidence she had was because the system could control her speed and dragon body in case she failed.

"A husband eater is a demon that eats men." The cat replied.

Alix found the explanation bizarre. For one, Yanfang was not a demon and two, did a husband eater eat husbands or all men?

Last but certainly not least among her unvoiced questions was where or in which world had Majesty met a husband eater as he called it?

These questions would have to wait until later because she had a personal mission to take on first.

"Hang on tight." she told the cat.

She spread her wings and took a deep breath. In her dragon form, smoke was emitted when she took that deep breath.

She looked at the virtual screen and said, "System start the countdown and set my speed to maximum. I don’t have a lot of time so we must be efficient."

One dragon and one cat leaped off a balcony and took to the skies on a revenge mission.
