The Web of Knightspur-Chapter 135
The darkness was getting thicker.
’Where am I?’
’Why is this happening?’
Princess Eleanor started running around in the darkness. She did not know where to roam. Her body was feeling lightweight. She did not know where to go anymore. No matter where she looked, there was only darkness and no light.
Princess Eleanor’s body was shivering and her throat was dry. No matter how hard she tried she could not come up with any solution. "Help, someone please help"
Princess Eleanor shouted but all she could hear was her own voice. No matter how hard she tried to search she could not see anything.
’What am I doing here?’ Princess Eleanor thought to herself as she bit her lips. She hugged her legs as she sat down. She did not even know if there was a floor or if was it mud. Was she in her room or out somewhere? All she knew was that it was all empty. There was nothing to look forward to. Nothing to be excited about.
Princess Eleanor could not tell how much time had passed, but soon she could hear a soft voice calling out for her. A voice was missing. A voice she would kill to listen to. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮
"El, are you with me?" The voice sounded desperate. "Please listen to me."
Princess Eleanor swallowed hard as she looked up but she could not see anything. "Brother!! Brother!!"
Princess Eleanor shouted as she got up from the ground. She ran towards the voice but there was no one way. the voice was haunting her from all directions.
"Please. No, Brother where are you, BROTHER!!!" Princess Eleanor shouted. Her body was sweating as her heartbeats increased. She did not know which way was the right way anymore. Her eyes were bright and unidirectional. She wanted to know the place from which she was hearing all the voices but she was afraid to find it too. Her body was about to give up.
Princess Eleanor was running in an unknown direction,
"El, listen carefully. Please listen to me," Princess Eleanor heard her brother’s voice. It was a desperate cry for help. She could tell that her brother was breathless as his voice was shaking. There was a slight tremble in his tone.
"BROTHER, I AM HERE. I AM LISTENING," Princess Eleanor’s tone increased in hope that her voice reached her brother. "PLEASE"
The tears started flowing from her eyes. Princess Eleanor closed her eyes as she sat down on the ground. She was crying. She felt alone, left out, powerless. "Brother!!!"
"EL, open your eyes and listen," As soon as she heard the words, Princess Eleanor became breathless as she opened her eyes. The teardrops were making her vision blurry, but now there is no darkness around her. Her heartbeats were running fast as she blinked her eyes. Her hand moved around as she tried to rub the tears away but it stopped midway when she saw a blurry vision of the man who was leaning toward her.
Princess Eleanor became breathless. She extended her hand forward to touch him, but before she could the man said in a desperate voice, "Trust no one El. No one. Not even your closest people...."
Princess Eleanor’s eyes widened as she saw someone running towards her brother. And before she could shout the image of her brother disappeared in an instant as if he was not there. Everything was covered in red as Princess Lenaor’s eyes opened wide in fright.
Only loud breathing could be heard in the room. Princess Eleanor blinked her eyes as she looked around nervously. Her heartbeat was a choice as she tried hard to control her breathing.
Princess Eleanor’s throat was dry. She swallowed multiple times but she could not relieve her pain. Princess Lenaor took a deep breath as she looked around the room.
It was a day. The sun was shining brightly as it illuminated the room. Princess Lensoar tried to search for water and once she spotted the jug she got out of the bed and she walked toward it. She did not know how much water she drank. She took a cup and swallowed it down her throat and then took another. After three cups she lost the count. But soon there was no water left to drink.
Princess Lenaor’s breathing did not calm down as she walked towards the chair and sat down. Her hand moved forever, and her face was covered in sweat.
"It was a dream." Princess Eleanor murmured."It was all a dream/. I should not think about it. It was not real."
No matter how hard princess Eleanor told herself she could not control her mind moving toward her brother. "Did he really say those words? Did Brother Edwin tell me not to trust anyone?"
Princess Eleanor was in a dilemma. She could not distinguish between reality and illusion anymore. Her mind was a mess as she started to question everything.
Soon Princess Eleanor heard a knock on the door. Her neck turned around as she looked at it, simply staring. She had no power to react. She swallowed hard but she was still uncomfortable.
"Princess?" Nia’s voice came through the door and Princess Eleanor’s mind became a little calm. She knew that now she was no longer dreaming. She was awake.
"Come inside," Princess Eleanor’s voice was hoarse. She tried to take a deep breath and calm herself down.
Soon Nia opened her door and walked inside. As she saw the pale face of the Princess, Nia’s voice trembled as she moved towards her asking, "What is wrong Princess? Are you feeling unwell?"
Princess Eleanor smiled as she shook her head, "Just a nightmare. Anyway, is it time for breakfast?"
Nia was silent for a few seconds. She knew that Princess Eleanor was prone to nightmares and it was triggered once she moved to the different surroundings. She observed Princess Eleanor and once she knew that everything was already Nia nodded her head.
"Yes, Breakfast is ready."
