Chapter 131: Chapter 131

As soon as Princess Eleanor said those words the room fell into an unknown silence.

Commander Colt could not bring himself to say anything else. Although he wanted to ask a lot of things, he could not open his mouth and voice his opinion. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚

Commander Colt could see the determination in princess Eleanor’s eyes. "Princess, that ..."

Princess Eleanor could see the hesitation in Commander Colt’s eyes. She knew what he was thinking but she did not have time to indulge in it, "I want to have a very important discussion with him. It would be a great help if you let him know that I want to meet him."

Commander Colt nodded his head as he walked out of the room leaving the Princess in deep thoughts.

Princess Eleanor sat on the bed with the letters spread around. Doctor Raul had come and diagnosed her. She knew that he also knew about her current situation. He simply suggested that she should rest and he would study the poison in depth.

Princess Eleanor could not refuse. His eyes showed his eagerness to learn new things. But Princess Eleanor also knew that nothing was going to matter soo. She had already stopped taking the poison and her body was slowly recovering.

"When is he coming?" Princess Eleanor murmured under her breath. Nia had delivered all the letters and Princess Eleanor wanted to search for clues with Sir Kit’s help. But she could not find the man in the mansion. She had even asked the maid during dinner but no one replied to her.

’Did Commander Colt inform Sir Kit? Can I trust the man?’ Princess Eleanor was thinking deeply as she bit her lips. Her hands held one of the letters as she crumbled it subconsciously.

"Waiting for me?" A deep voice brought Princess Eleanor back to reality. She could not control her emotions as her body shivered. The letter that was in her hand fell down.

"Sir Kit," Princess Eleanor said as she looked back. He was standing against the window looking straight at her.

Princess Eleanor’s eyes widened. She knew that it was difficult to come to her room through the window. The distance between the ground and the window was huge.

Sir Kit’s lips curled up as he saw the blues on Princess Eleanor’s face. He wanted to extend his hand and touch it but he was afraid. What if Princess Eleanor says that she does not like it? Sir Kit did not want to hear such words from the Princess.

Sir Kit looked around. He could see that princess Eleanor was comfortable sitting down on the bed. It felt like she was the actual owner of the room.

"Princess Eleanor likes the room?" Princess Eleanor heard a deep voice as she saw Sir Kit naturally walk towards her. It felt like he was used to entering the room.

"Yes, I like it very much," Princess Eleanor smiled as she nodded her head.

Sir Kit smiled as his gaze narrowed. He walked towards Princess Eleanor who was sitting on the bed. He could see the papers on the bed. They looked like some letters.

Sir Kit could not help but take one in hand. But the first word made him feel the rage burning deep. ’Dear Eleanor,’

No matter how hard he tried to control himself, Sir Kit could help but crumple the paper in his hand. "Who wrote it?"

Sir Kit’s tone was low as if he was ready to attack. His gaze stayed focused on Princess Eleanor as if he wanted to observe her slight movements.

"It was written by Duke Felix," Princess Eleanor said innocently. She could not understand what was so wrong with it. She was listening to Sir Kir but she could not find the reason for the change in his tone.

"I thought you said nothing was there between you too," Sir Kit did not waste time as he threw the letter on the grown. His body leaned towards the Princess as the distance narrowed.

"Nothing is going on between us, it is true. Trust me." Princess Eleanor’s voice trembled as she saw Sir Kit’s body moving towards her.

Princess Eleanor could not help but lean backward. Her elbows touched both of the sides as her body leaned back.

"Are you telling the truth," Sir Kit’s lips curled up as he blinked his eyes. His gaze always stayed on Princess Eleanor as he moved a little closer to her. He knew that they were inches apart. His eyes were burning with an unknown emotion as he waited for her to react.

Princess Eleanor was silent. She wanted to say something but her voice was trembling. No matter how hard she tried she could not focus on anything at all. All she could see was Sir kit with a mask on but his eyes were captivating enough to keep her gaze on his.

"Yes," Princess Eleanor managed to say. Her heartbeat was loud as Princess Eleanor tried to hold her breath. She did not want Sir Kit to listen to her.

Sir Kit stayed in the same position for a few seconds before he moved back. His tone was dominating enough as he said, "Then will Princess explain the situation?"

Princess Eleanor nodded her head as she started telling him all the things Nia had told her. She even includes the fact that Duke Felix was writing to the knights.

"So, you want me to help you find the clue?" Sir kit asked as he looked at Princess Eleanor who nodded her head in agreement.

"Nia thinks that the letters have something hidden in them. Even if it is not related to my family’s death, I might be able to understand why my brother did not trust him."

Sir Kit nodded his head as he looked at the letter, "It will be difficult to maintain my patience when I know it is addressed to you." Sir Kit complained in a low tone. "I just wish I won’t tear the letters apart"

Princess Eleanor blinked her eyes but did not react.
