The Villainess Wants a Divorce:Beast Husbands Regret It to Tears-Chapter 131: This Female Is Truly Beautiful
He heard all the rumors along the way.
They said she was arrogant, capricious, and picky, believing no one was good enough for her.
But now, she stood right in front of him.
His mind buzzed, his thoughts a chaotic mess.
This was nothing like the rumors!
The Clan Leader was right, this female was truly beautiful.
Not to mention, she spoke with such grace, considering others with every word.
He had never seen a female like her before.
Before he could regain his senses, a shadow rushed over.
Isaac Vaughn stepped forward, bent down, and scooped Seraphina Caldwell into his arms.
His light purple eyes darkened.
He shielded her, putting several feet between her and Albert Wyndham.
The blue rings on his arm had just advanced, their color vibrant, faintly radiating a wave of power.
Wyatt Yardley followed, silently standing beside Isaac Vaughn.
His gaze faintly glanced at the beast leg.
"The Female Master said it’s not of interest. Take it back."
Albert Wyndham’s gaze remained stuck on Seraphina Caldwell.
He saw her being held, her cheek lightly resting on Isaac Vaughn’s shoulder, not struggling at all.
It didn’t look like she was disgusted by the Beast Husband at all.
His sight then shifted to her smooth collarbone.
It was clean, without a single beast pattern.
This indicated that they hadn’t truly bonded yet.
Once a contract is formed, a symbolic beast mark appears on the female’s collarbone as a sign of belonging.
But now, her skin was still blank.
No contract meant she was still unclaimed within the tribe.
The two clearly had a tacit understanding.
But why hadn’t they taken that crucial step?
Were they both waiting for a more suitable time?
Or was there another hidden reason?
Could it be that the female had just come of age, her body too slender, and the Beast Husbands wanted to wait until she was older?
In the tribe’s traditions, while females are eligible to bond after coming of age,
many males delay the ceremony if her physique is still weak, to ensure she can withstand the power surge from the contract.
Albert Wyndham pondered, his gaze lingering a little longer.
He had merely come under the Clan Leader’s orders to deliver food, but had inadvertently witnessed this scene.
The young female surrounded by several High-Ranking males, yet none were in a hurry to claim her as theirs.
This was unusual.
Unless, they held an extraordinary regard for her.
He extended the oil-glazed beast leg towards them.
"The Clan Leader said you’re departing at dawn."
"This meat is solid, it won’t harden even when cold. Toss it in a leather bag and chew on it when hungry on the road, don’t waste it."
After speaking, he deliberately raised the beast leg a bit higher.
Seraphina Caldwell glanced at the meat; indeed, it was valuable on the road.
This level of prey was usually offered to the Clan Leader or High-Rank warriors, yet now it was presented to her.
This gesture was significant.
She shifted slightly from Isaac Vaughn’s embrace and smiled at Albert Wyndham.
"Then... thanks, and thank the Clan Leader uncle for us, we’ll accept it."
After she spoke, she paused, her gaze turning towards the cave.
"Gideon Larkin, bring the items over, give him some."
She didn’t want to receive gifts unilaterally, even if the other party was an envoy from the Clan Leader.
Gideon Larkin immediately turned and rushed into the cave, emerging with a bulging leather sack, handing it to Seraphina Caldwell.
The bag was full, obviously containing quite a bit.
Seraphina Caldwell took it and handed it to Albert Wyndham.
"These fruits are sweet, you take them."
She said with a smile.
Albert Wyndham was taken aback, looking down at the handful of bright red wild fruits.
The fruits were plump and vividly colored, clearly selected with care.
He didn’t expect this young female not only understood etiquette but also reciprocated.
In his mind, young females were often reserved and timid.
But she was different; she knew how to advance and retreat and understood gratitude.
He waved his hand.
"No need, I don’t like fruit."
"It’s just a piece of meat, you keep it."
He knew this sack of fruits was also a precious reserve for her.
After finishing, he thrust the beast leg in front of Kaelan Hawthorne, said no more words, and turned to leave.
His task completed, lingering any longer would seem inappropriate.
Once he was out of sight, Isaac Vaughn finally released his grip on Seraphina Caldwell’s arm.
He had constantly watched Albert Wyndham, afraid he might overstep any boundaries.
Now, the crisis was over.
Wyatt Yardley walked over to Kaelan Hawthorne, helping to cut the beast leg into small pieces and stuff them into the leather bag.
"Chop it up for the journey, it’s hard to hunt on the road."
"Dried meat preserves better, with less moisture it won’t spoil easily."
He said while carefully checking the seal of the leather bag.
Gideon Larkin scooted closer to Seraphina Caldwell.
"Seraphina, could it be you fancy him? He’s a Blue Rank!"
Blue Rank warriors were elite within the tribe, holding considerable status.
If Seraphina was truly interested in him, their relationship could become complicated.
The few males instantly perked up, all eyes on her.
Seraphina Caldwell shook her head.
"It’s nothing like that."
She said softly.
"I didn’t look at him closely... just want to find Father soon."
She murmured, frowning slightly.
Everything else seemed trivial at this moment, including that male named Albert Wyndham.
Her heart was still weighed down by the search for her family, leaving no room to think about other males.
Her courtesy towards Albert Wyndham was merely a reflection of her upbringing, with no other intentions. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
To her, those so-called Blue Rank males, the outstanding youths of the tribe, were merely passing shadows.
Hearing this, Wyatt Yardley visibly relaxed.
He raised his hand to ruffle Seraphina Caldwell’s hair.
"Don’t worry, there will be clues tomorrow."
Isaac Vaughn’s arm leaned slightly closer to her.
He didn’t speak, just watched her quietly.
Kaelan Hawthorne stood a bit further, his gaze shifting between Seraphina Caldwell and Wyatt Yardley.
He thought that no matter how aloof Seraphina Caldwell seemed, faced with a Blue Rank male like Albert Wyndham, she would at least be briefly moved.
Yet, she not only didn’t look twice but even her response was perfunctory.
A Blue Rank male was among the best in the entire tribe, yet Seraphina wouldn’t even spare an extra glance?
Kaelan Hawthorne pursed his lips.
Was she truly immersed in finding her father, or was she acting cold to manage the males around her?
After all, who could remain completely indifferent to a male as exceptional as Albert Wyndham?
Unless...
She already had someone in her heart.
On the other side, Albert Wyndham did not return to his residence.
He directly stepped into the Clan Leader’s cave.
The torch at the entrance crackled.
He did not announce his presence, walking straight in.
The Clan Leader was fiddling with a beast skin, looking up with a smile as he saw him.
"Did you see Caden Cross’s little one? I wasn’t lying to you, was I?"
In his view, it was only a matter of time before Seraphina Caldwell recognized Caden Cross as her father.
And if Albert Wyndham could seize this opportunity to win her favor, it would be a colossal boon.
Albert Wyndham didn’t sneer as he usually would, instead sitting by the hearth.
"I... had misjudged before, she’s far stronger than I imagined."
That night at the tribe’s entrance, he had witnessed how calmly Seraphina Caldwell faced the Dire Beast.
Her strength and her will were not what ordinary females possessed.
He had initially thought she was merely Caden Cross’s daughter, frail and in need of protection.
But now he understood, she was a fire burning brightly on her own.
The Clan Leader’s eyes lit up, eagerly asking.
"So, did she agree? To stay with our tribe?"
The old man set aside his work, leaning forward.
