The Villainess Married The Evil CEO-Chapter 87: The Game Is On!
When they finally reached their destination, Abigail looked at the scene outside the window of her car. Her jaw dropped seeing such a big villa. It was even bigger than Nicholas’s place!
No, calling it only a villa would be an understatement. She should rather call it an entire mansion, or rather, a cluster of several mansions in one place!
The garden was so huge that she couldn’t even see the end of it on one side. While on the other side, there was a beautiful sitting place with a fountain at the center. In the middle of the two was a concrete road that was capable of running two cars together.
She gasped when she looked at the garden.
If she were to destroy it some day in a fit of anger, just how much time would it take for real?!
An entire night?
No, possibly another day!
Asher looked at her sticking her head outside the window and looked at the garden in amazement as his chest swelled with a hint of pride. He quickly pulled the car to a stop at the parking lot right next to the fountain and sitting arrangement on the left.
He shut off the engine and turned toward the woman on the passenger seat. "You like it?"
"Yes!" Abigail quickly opened the door and walked out, still staring at the garden as she blurted out, "It will probably take me a long time to destroy this garden! God, it is so big!"
Asher heard those words and chuckled as he pulled out her luggage from his car. "Sure. You can wreak all the havoc you want. I’m not like Nicholas, you know?"
"Uh huh." Abigail also nodded. "You clearly do not like my boring husband."
At least, he openly told her to destroy the garden. Sure, Nicholas let her destroy the garden back at home twice, but she could still see the corners of his lips twitching as if he were trying to suppress his desire to stop her.
Don’t take her for a fool just because she was in her mania phase. She could understand even minute expressions only because she was a good observer. For instance, Asher here really had a big crush on her.
But Abigail didn’t care about it. If her heart was focused on her husband, she had enough courage that she could hold her heart together for Nicholas.
Of course, in ordinary terms, the readers might call her overconfident and pray that her words would prove false.
That aside, Abigail turned toward her cousin-in-law and said, "Can I really destroy it?!"
"Sure." Asher was cool about it as he said, "Go ahead. Wreak havoc in there every time you’re angry. This is a good place to vent, ya know?"
"Oh, my God!" Abigail was so happy hearing his words that she instantly jumped toward him and hugged him tightly.
"Ahem." Another very familiar cold voice echoed from the door. "I’m still here."
Abigail was shocked hearing that voice. She backed away and looked in the direction only to see Nicholas standing not far away from them in a different car he probably purchased.
Gosh, Nicholas was here too?! Was she dreaming or something?
"Husband!" Abigail’s eyes lit up. She totally forgot about the fact that she hugged another man just now right in front of her husband and that the man’s expression was colder than ice after seeing her actions.
Nicholas, on the other hand, had already expected such a scene to occur right when he entered this place. It wasn’t like he hadn’t remembered this woman’s fickle nature in terms of likes, but he was momentarily deluded by her caring attitude.
Now, after watching her hug Asher like this, his heart sank and shattered into tiny pieces. His hand gripped the suitcase that he dragged behind him tightened as he walked closer. He looked at the luggage in his cousin’s hands and said, "You can secure the luggage. I’ll take my wife."
He established his authority in just a sentence, not more, not less.
On the side, Asher was so shocked that he couldn’t speak a single word.
How the f*ck Nicholas came here?!
No, the main question should be, how the f*ck did he know about where Abigail was going to stay?!
Thus, Asher watched how his cousin grabbed Abigail’s wrist firmly and dragged her inside the mansion.
Ah, Asher had forgotten that this mansion wasn’t just his alone. Practically everyone in the Harrison family could come freely. Actually, this was yet another Harrison house belonging to the family. It wasn’t like he couldn’t make one house on his own, but since there was already such a big mansion with no one to live, why shouldn’t he make his home here?
But who knew that today he would regret his decision?!
He gritted his teeth and glared at the back of his cousin. When he had gotten the news that Abigail was coming, he was so happy that he wanted to dance. But now, he couldn’t even describe how angry he was feeling upon seeing his rival dragging away the woman he liked.
If he were given a chance, he would surely snatch her away from the man’s arms in the blink of an eye!
Fine. If Nicholas wanted to play it like that, he would like to see how long this damned man could stay here at his place. After all, wasn’t it that Nicholas could stay at this mansion for the entire time?
To relieve suspicions, there would be a time when he would have to return. So Asher will wait for that time and then act on Abigail, slowly attracting her attention.
Of course, if Nicholas had proved to be a good husband, he wouldn’t have interfered in a marriage. He wasn’t that kind of a person. But this marriage was contract based, and Nicholas clearly didn’t want to stay married to this woman for long.
So what was he acting all jealous of? He didn’t deserve to be with Abigail in the first place!
Asher took a deep breath and started walking toward the mansion. When he entered the place, he noticed that the two of them were already heading upstairs. Abigail had opened the door to a random room by pushing it wide as she entered.
Shockingly, even Nicholas entered right in front of his eyes and closed the door behind gently.
Asher gripped the handle of the bag in his hand tightly and averted his eyes.
Alright. So the game is on, Mr. Nicholas Harrison.
