Chapter 12: Help! This Quest Is Too Hot!
The compass on the table took off with a wild spin before it slowly came to a stop, its hand pointing at Jack.
"Asher, would you?" A B-rank student asked, her name was Elice.

"Sure." Asher turned to look at Elvis in his chocolate pair of eyes. "Truth or dare Elvis?"
"Truth."
"Hmm... If you were given half a million dollars to have sex with me, would you?" Asher asked, stealing a seductive glance at him.
Elvis reached for a bottle of liquor, it had the brand "Tes" written on it. Opened it, he poured its content into a small cup and gulped it at once.
"Why? Am I not hot enough?" Asher's voice was a facade of worry.
At her statement, Jack studied her, giving speculation to her tits especially. "It needs to be bigger than that if you want to get me." he concluded.
Michael smiled. Pass her unto me, he wanted to say. In the very first instance he had been distracted, her tits had been the reason for it. And also the reason why he had been foolishly dragged along to stay here right when he decided to leave.
"Moving on..." The compass was spun again, and this time it headed towards Michael.
"Michael right?" Elvis asked, staring into his eyes. "Truth or dare?"
At that moment, Michael wasn't considering anything, he just simply said, "Truth."
"Alright." Elvis said, rather tipsy. "Thanks to your win yesterday, I was able to let off with two thousand bucks.
Tell me... What's your secret? How did you beat Steven?"
"That's two questions."
"Answer the first."
Michael grabbed another bottle of liquor, poured it into a similar cup and took the whole gulp. His head went stormy immediately, his mind demanding for mental purchase while still enjoying the airing pleasure at the same time.
He felt a sharp pain in his brain, but it was all worth it. There was no way he was telling these people about the system. Never!
"So you do have a secret, huh?" Elvis studied him closely, the tension forming an invisible line of spark across their eyes.
"Moving...on..." The compass was spun, the sound of its whit occupying the sudden quiet as it came to a stop. "It's... Michael...again."
"Truth or dare Michael?" Elvis asked, his voice adding more pressure.
Michael thought it over this time, he couldn't keep letting Jack try to figure him out. "Dare." He said.
Oh, I see. New boy wants to play tough." Elvis smiled darkly. "I dare you to.... Kiss any girl here."
"Any...girl?" Michael gulped, looking around but grasping the scowls of every girl present.
He rose, and for a while, stared at everyone there, enhancing the moment of tension. Michael walked towards Asher and grabbed her chin, his gaze sinking into hers.
But he wouldn't kiss her, instead he let her go, took steps away from them until he was out of their midst.
"Where is he going?" Someone asked.
"I think he's drunk."
"Should we...follow him?" Asher asked.

_MEANWHILE, IN THE PAVILION_
Lena gasped the moment the lights came on, issuing an irritated look at the picture before her. A large large bouquet of flowers and colorful balloons had been arranged in place, a serenous music playing from the background.
This was another one of Reyy's apology plans, and it was quite obvious because he stood before her with apologetic eyes, as if waiting for an approval for something.
"What's this about?" She asked, returning a scowl instead.
"Asher told me you'd like it."
"And you believed her? This is like the complete opposite of what I like." Lena admitted, and it was true. She wasn't allergic to color, but she would choose black over any other. "And did we not talk about this, I told you this relationship can't work any longer."
"That's all you've been telling me Asher, and guess what? I'm not gonna just leave without getting a proper explanation." Reyy argued.
"Alright then, suit yourself." Lena turned to leave, but Reyy held her back.
"Lena... Please.." He begged. "We used to tell each other about our problems, did I suddenly turn incompetent?"
"Let it be however you reason it." She jerked her hand off his grip. "Goodnight Reyy."
She made towards the exit door, of course again. This time she had to be cold, considering that Reyy was going to keep trying, and that her heart usually felt warm when he did. It reminded her of the happiness she was trying so hard to forget.
It made her want to quit being her current self and fling herself into his arms wide open. It made her long for his touch, the sensual feeling of his lips on hers. It made her want for him spiral dangerously.
No, she couldn't distract herself. She had taught her emotions this far to learn to forget him, and she wasn't going to abandon that for anything.
Her and Reyy were never meant to be after all.
She was almost at the door when someone walked in, a random guy on a black suit dress, it was the guy she had stomped unto earlier that day.
Michael... What was his last name again?
"What are you doing here?" She asked whatsoever.
"I'm sorry." Michael muttered, maintaining a straight look at her. "But I chose dare."
And just unexpectedly, he walked briskly towards her and crashed his lips against hers.
