The Revenge of the Reborn Supreme Sovereign-Chapter 151 - 148: Because Your Surname is Bai!
The Hemp Vine Whip wielded by Qin Fan was like the Death God’s lethal scythe. Wherever it passed, it claimed lives.
In the space of a few breaths, dozens of bodies piled up outside the main house of the Bai Clan—a symbol of their supreme power. The very air seemed to thicken with an eerie Death Qi.
Without a trace of guilt or malice, a slight smirk tugged at the corner of Qin Fan’s mouth. His Divine Sense spread out as he stepped forward.
He had said that after today, the Bai Clan would cease to exist. So he might as well wipe them out completely.
Locked within his Divine Sense, every place Qin Fan casually strolled was filled with dying wails. For a clan that preyed upon young women to enhance their Cultivation, Qin Fan felt not a single shred of mercy.
"I-I’m not Bai Li’s biological brother! I hate him too, I want him dead! This has nothing to do with me! Don’t kill me, please, don’t kill me!" In a tranquil bamboo house, Bai Wen, who had witnessed everything on a surveillance monitor, babbled incoherently as Qin Fan pushed open the door.
Behind him, Bai Yun was trembling uncontrollably. His bloodless face was a mask of terror and utter despair.
Who is this person? How can he be so absurdly powerful? He killed dozens of Bai Clan members with just a Soft Whip! Dammit, what the hell is going on?!
"Is your surname Bai? That’s reason enough," Qin Fan spoke with cold indifference, his Soft Whip sweeping forward. "Go on now. Once you reach the Netherworld, Bai Li will explain everything to you."
With a sharp CRACK, Bai Wen’s head spun a full 360 degrees. After several rotations, it flopped limply, falling heavily to the floor. His shattered neck was a bloody mess of torn skin and flesh, reduced to a pulpy ruin.
The horrifying sight frightened Bai Yun so badly he wet himself.
Driven by instinct, he leaped up, smashing through the bamboo window in a desperate attempt to flee. But would Qin Fan grant him such an opportunity?
With a cold snort, Qin Fan formed a hand blade and slashed through the air toward the fleeing man’s back.
"AHHH!!!" The scream was the last sound Bai Yun would ever make. Struck by the immense power of Qin Fan’s True Qi hand blade from afar, his internal organs were instantly pulverized.
"Thirteen left," Qin Fan muttered, stepping out of the bamboo house. His ghostly figure vanished in the blink of an eye, and the hunt continued. "Seven left!" "Five left!" "Two left!" His voice was frigid as he reaped several more lives from a secret path leading out of the compound.
He then returned to the courtyard of the main house where he had killed the Bai elder.
Staring at the blood-soaked main hall, Qin Fan shook his head, his expression unreadable. "The most dangerous place is never the safest. Come on out. I’ll grant you an intact corpse."
Three seconds passed. Still, no sound came from the main house.
Qin Fan let out a cold, contemptuous laugh. Without another word, he stepped inside.
THUD. THUD. THUD.
As Qin Fan’s footsteps drew closer, the two survivors could no longer withstand the psychological torment of despair and bolted out from their hiding spot. Staring in utter panic at a face that looked no older than a teenager’s, they screamed hysterically, "Why? Why must you exterminate us? We don’t even know who you are! What is this grudge, this hatred? Why!"
"Decided to come out?" Qin Fan paused, shaking his head. "Because your surname is Bai."
With that, he didn’t bother to explain further. The Hemp Vine Whip in his hand lashed out again, whistling through the air and coiling around the necks of the two survivors.
BANG!
The two were smashed violently into each other. Their foreheads shattered on impact with a sickening crack of bone. Blood gushed from the wounds like a macabre fountain.
Retracting the Soft Whip, Qin Fan didn’t spare the dying men a second glance. He leisurely walked away from the Bai Clan’s main house, his hands clasped behind his back. He eventually wandered into a hall where dozens of young girls were being held.
"W-who are you?" The moment Qin Fan appeared, the girls, still oblivious to the Bai Clan’s annihilation, scrambled to their feet and cried out in alarm.
He slowly shook his head and sighed. How could he not sense that these teenage girls had been completely brainwashed?
"I am the one who has come to lead you out of this Hell," he said.
Upon hearing his words, the girls cried out in panic. "Take us away? No! We won’t leave! This is our home! We don’t know you! Go away, or we’ll call for help!" Under the Bai Clan’s indoctrination, they had come to see themselves as part of the clan, considering it their sacred mission to serve its members. The thought of leaving was inconceivable.
He muttered under his breath, shaking his head. Heh... They deserved to die. Not a single one of them was innocent.
Qin Fan moved. The girls saw only a blur. Then, each felt a gentle tap on her head. In the next instant, the just-vanished Qin Fan had returned to his original spot.
Standing before the stunned and bewildered girls, he slowly closed his eyes, and his Divine Thought expanded outward.
The next moment, the teenage girls clutched their heads, screaming as an agonizing pain threatened to make them explode. Ten seconds later, the excruciating pain vanished. Suddenly, everyone felt their minds become incredibly clear.
"W-where is this?"
"Why am I here?"
"Who... who are you people?"
As lucidity returned, the girls cried out in confusion.
"Think carefully," Qin Fan said with a soft exhale. With that, he turned, shoved his hands in his pockets, and walked out.
For Qin Fan, it was enough to have cleared their minds of the indoctrination. How they found their way home was not his concern.
"Hey, who are you!" one of the girls called out as he reached a corner.
He completely ignored her, his steady pace never faltering.
Seeing that the mysterious man was unmoved, several girls ran out to give chase. But in the less than five seconds that had passed, Qin Fan’s figure was already gone. How could a living person simply vanish into thin air?
They instinctively looked at each other, and all saw the same terror reflected in one another’s eyes.
"W-was... was he even human?"
"A ghost! It’s a ghost!"
"There’s a ghost!"
As these screams erupted, the remaining girls inside, though unsure of what had happened, were spurred by the palpable terror in the cries and fled outside as well, their faces pale.
As for Qin Fan, who had reappeared outside the village gates in the blink of an eye, he merely gave a faint smirk when he sensed the commotion behind him. He continued his leisurely pace forward.
Behind him, the village, shrouded in Death Qi, served as the backdrop for his massacre.
The once-formidable Bai Clan of Huaxia’s Third World met its end because of Bai Li’s foolishness. Its bloodline was extinguished forever.
From this day forward, the Tomb Raider Bai Clan was no more.
